How can I submit recordings for you to post?

Thank you for thinking about us and how you can help expand our archive! This website is committed to providing quality recordings, free of cost, that uplift the words of Inspiration and prepare and equip God's people for this life and the life to come.

Unfortunately, due to personnel shortages, we are unable to accept unsolicited 3rd-party recording submissions at this time. We deeply regret this and are looking for ways to handle submissions in an efficient manner. Thank you for your understanding. (Note: We are still posting recordings that we make ourselves. We are also still accepting recordings from the regular sources. You know who you are.)

For reference purposes, and in case you are asked by our team to submit materials, here is our normal procedure:

The best way to submit recordings is to send them in the highest quality that is available to you. We prefer uncompressed .WAV format for audio recordings and high-bitrate MPEG formats for video recordings. However, most other formats are in most cases usable.

We will review all submissions for doctrinal content, recording quality, and presentation quality. Sermons that pass these standards will be posted as soon as we can get to them, although we are not able to guarantee a particular time-frame.

Please note that our standards for doctrinal content represent a conservative Seventh-day Adventist worldview that upholds legacy beliefs of the Church such as the infallibility of the Scriptures, victory over sin, the spiritual gifts of Ellen G. White, the Heavenly Sanctuary, righteousness by faith, and a literal 7-day Creation week. Materials contrary to these beliefs will not be considered.

Before sending anything to us, you must first obtain permission from the recording's copyright owner! In legal terms, we require a royalty-free, worldwide right of distribution that is not restricted to any particular format or medium, whether currently existing or not.

In addition, please provide as much of the following information as possible. This will ensure the recording is properly categorized.

  1. Presenter name(s) if applicable
  2. Recording title
  3. Series or Event title (if applicable)
  4. Name, address, and phone number of copyright owner
  5. Date that the recording was given (if known)
  6. Time that the recording was given (if known; estimations are acceptable)
  7. Brief list of doctrinal and/or Scriptural topics covered
  8. Terms for redistribution -- This refers to any and all restrictions that the copyright owner may place on the recording's usage and redistribution. Can people give copies to their friends? Can they duplicate it on CD or DVD to give away? Can it be broadcast on a TV or radio station? Most of our content providers use a Creative Commons free sharing license. However, the only thing we require is that all downloads on VideoVerse.org be free of cost both to us and to our website visitors, at least for private non-commercial use. When determining redistribution terms, please read the "Why Free?" section on our About Us page. Our primary purpose is to promote free and open access to Bible Truth, and the more restrictions placed on a recording, the less it furthers our aim.
