Welcome to the Seed Pod for beginners. I Ms. Ashley and I'm so glad you are here with me today as we sing and learn about God through nature and the Bible. Heavenly Father, please bless all the boys and girls who've joined us today. Help us to learn so much more about you and come close to Jesus. We pray in Jesus name. Amen. Hello to all the kids listening again. Hi Josiah. Hi, Kenton, patience. Hi, Emily and Carson and all the other kids who have been listening. Parents, I would love to hear from you. Are you brother, are you sister? Are you son? Are you daughter? Whoever you are, you are special to Jesus. Who am I? Who am I? Someone special to Jesus. I am brother. I am brother. I am special to Jesus. Who Am I? I Someone special to cheese. I am sister I, sister. I am Special. Special. Mommy. Mommy. Special. Our next song is We're Glad Today. We're Glad for our moms and for our dads, for our pets, for brothers and sisters. Whoever's in the room while we sing this hug, you can give them a big hug as we sing. We're we're mothers we're, It is time to review our Bible story from this week. I want you to help me out by saying the answers out loud after I ask the questions. Can you do that question one, did Adam and Eve have to leave their garden home because they made it messy or because they disobeyed God Because they disobeyed God? That's right, because of disobedience. Question two, would anyone ever get hurt or sick or be sad if everyone had always obeyed God? No. No. But once we sinned disobeyed God, that's when bad things happen, and question three, will Jesus help us obey him and forgive us? Yes. Yes. Jesus promised to take our full punishment so we could live with him again and forgive us. Our lesson today is beautiful leaves. Revelation 22, 2. These Are three four of the nations. Have you ever seen beautiful leaves? I'm sure you have. Some are really, really big and some are really, really small. Somehow pointy and somewhere around. Do you know why leaves are so important? They make food for the trees to keep them alive. What color are they in? The spring and summertime when they're growing. That's right. They're green, sometimes light green, then really dark green in the fall. What colors do the leaves change? Red and yellow and pink. Yes. They become very colorful. Red, orange, yellow, maybe even pink. But what happens in the fall? Fall down. Yeah, that's right. They fall down because they're dying in the Garden of Eden. Leaves never died. It was sin that hurt the world and the leaves. Adam and Eve sinned when they obeyed Satan. Instead of obeying God, then living things like people, animals, and the leaves started to die. Adam and Eve cried when they saw the first leaf fall. Why would they cry? Well, because they had never seen anything die like that before. They were very, very sad. Pretty things like leaves changing color remind us of God's love. Even though sin causes death, the Bible tells us that the tree of life will be aware. Heaven In heaven. What happens when we eat from the tree of life? We'll live forever. That's right. We will live forever. We will never die. Neither will the leaves when you see beautiful leaves. Let's remember God's plan to save us from sin and to live forever. It's memory verse time. Our memory verse is Isaiah seven 16. Refuse the evil and choose the good. Now, let's learn it in a scripture song, Refuse are evil and choose good. Choose good. Choose are good. Refuse and choose are good. Isaiah seven 16. Refuse are evil and shoes are good.
