Father in heaven, thank you so much for this time.

And Lord as we jump into this message today We want to pray and ask that the Spirit of God would lead us in powerful incredible ways dear Jesus Lord the world is falling apart right now, and you're calling your church to a special experience during this time We pray and ask the Holy Spirit would speak and our hearts would be open to the word in Jesus name.

Amen Just a reminder if you want to send your kid out to children's church I'm going to let you know right off the back we're going to be used the word sex and sexuality multiple times okay but what you're going to be hearing is a biblical message okay so if you'd like to send your child And she can take them up to age 12.

This is the time to do it We're gonna be talking about some things that are very important now.

I'm not saying you have to send your children out It's up to you to determine their maturity level and what they should and should not hear right?

The name of the message today is called what?

You know I was actually looking over a country music survey.

I've never had any kind of taste for country music.

And when I was surveying this country music, sort of they were doing this survey over, you know, several years of country music.

They were trying to tally the number 1 word used in country music.

How many people think they know what the number 1 word used in country music.

How many people think they know what the number 1 word used in country music is?

The number 1 word used in country music is baby.

It's very interesting when you're taking a good look at music and just sort of a survey of music, you begin to notice there are various trends there was actually a year when country music used Love as their number 1 song or number 1 word that was used in their music, but that began to change Words like night and Sex and other words begin to take the place of different genres of music as well You know when we think of that word love today That word love today is used in multiple ways You can love this you can love that when it comes to the word love we have a hard time actually honing in on a clear definition sometimes we'll say what love is is simply that which makes you happy you love that which makes you happy and so love becomes a Sort of a free-for-all definition of free-for-all experience.

You can love whatever you want However, you want whenever you want wherever you want This is the definition of love today In fact, if I was to do a survey here in this church, and I don't like surveys Amen, if I was to do a survey in this church you would be quite surprised when you would see the variance when it comes to the word love and what it means in scripture there is a 3 word verse that should communicate to us so much about the word Love and it's found in first John who knows what that verse is God is what?

Ladies and gentlemen, our love does not define God's love.

And so the Bible says something very interesting It is God is what?

Love out of all the words that are used in Scripture to describe God This phrase speaks so powerfully about the nature the character of God that God is what?

I want you to see something quite remarkable.

It is getting hot Someone's hit him in All right.

Let's go to Genesis chapter 1 if you're there going to say amen Okay.

I want you to see something very remarkable.

Ladies and gentlemen, what did we say was the image of God or the nature and character of God?

Love now pay attention to this when man when man was being created by God God said let us make man according to our what?

Image so mankind was created as a being of what?

Love Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to pay attention to the origin of mankind You were created as a being of love Now take a good look at the person next to you.

That person that you are looking at right next to you is actually a being whose origin is a creation of love.

Some of you are afraid to look at the person next to you just turn and say that person was a person whose origin was the creation of what?

Remember the Bible says God is love and mankind was created as image so mankind was created in the image of what say 1 more time Love this was the origin of mankind mankind was created for 2 purposes number 1 to love and to what be love To love and to what?

Be Love I was explaining this to some Hindus who have a very impersonal concept of God.

I Said if God created mankind as a very personal being Therefore it must be understood that the 1 who created him as a Personal being must be himself a personal being and the Bible says God is what?

Love and mankind was created his own image.

Love every human being comes from Adam And Adam was created in love your origin your heritage ladies and gentlemen is a creation of love Let's fast forward all the way to the very end of time.

Take your Bible Let's go to the book of Matthew.

Take a good look at what the Bible says right here Matthew 24 and many false prophets shall arise.

This is talking about end time events and deceive many.

Lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall what?

Notice what Jesus is saying right here the very beginning ladies and gentlemen mankind was created as a being of love But at the very end of time right before the second coming of Jesus.

It's almost gone It's almost defaced He is describing the condition of the world right before he comes back in fact the word wax cold is a word that actually means hard respiration like a Breathing out of cold Remember Genesis chapter 1 or Genesis chapter 2 when God created mankind he what?

He breathed into him and it's very interesting at the very end of time right before Jesus comes back He says look the love of many has waxed what?

Cold in other words when God is looking upon the very end of time.

He can hardly see His own image in them You know, what's very interesting today there should be a Unawareness of this If you're not aware of it now, all you need to do is just look on the newspaper.

And when you look in the newspaper, you begin to see Some unusual things that are happening in our world today when it comes to media you think about what's popular in mainstream society right now and Currently there is a Movie that is considered quite controversial yet is what what is quite funny is this movie is not just attracting Non-believers, it's apparently attracting Christians as well It's a movie called 50 shades of gray and I know nobody here has saw that movie.

Amen If you're a Christian, you should not be seeing that movie.

This is a movie that glorifies, glamorizes rape, sodomy, abusive relationships.

In fact, it has been titled by different psychology, psychologists, as a movie that promotes abuse in relationships.

Yet at the same time, there are some people who are saying, this is not something you should be seeing.

Apparently, in the underbelly of culture, there is a whole group of people that are so excited about this movie and they call anybody who calls or attacks this movie in any way as being judgmental this is not something That should surprise us Jesus warned about something and he says look when I come back when the gospel is trying to go to the same world at the Same time this gospel message of love is going through the entire world The love of many people is going cold what God Is saying what Jesus is saying is that when he returns there's gonna be so much aberrant Variations of what love is it will be hard to recognize the image of God in anything And what you are looking at right there is You are looking at at the beginning of a whole new era of Media that is going to be blitzing Society as we know it You know, it's What we are I really believe in as I was contemplating so I was talking to a couple of my friends who are counselors trained counselors I was even talking to my ministerial director and he is a trained counselor He got his PhD I think down somewhere in Southern, California I think it was Loma Linda and I was talking to him about this very issue about this very sermon and He was just sharing with me some of the effects that are coming upon this world things that most people even Christians are Not seeing but it's solely starting to develop in our world today.

And that has to do with our concept, our definition of what love really is.
