Who is Your God?

In order that God might qualify him for his great work as the keeper of the sacred oracles, Abraham must be separated from the associations of his early life.

The influence of kindreds and friends would interfere with the training which the Lord purposed to give his servant.

Now that Abraham was in a special sense connected with heaven, he must dwell among strangers.

His character must be peculiar, differing from all the world.

He could not explain his course of action so as to be understood by his friends.

Spiritual things are spiritually discerned and his motives and actions were not comprehended by his idolatrous kindred.

Patriarchs and Prophets, page 126, paragraph 1.

The essence of that quotation, when people make decisions for God, unconverted friends and family members do not understand and may proceed to make life very very difficult for you.

The brothers of Jesus made life for him very difficult but they came on board towards the end of his life but in the earlier part of his ministry they were not on board with him at all.

A matter of fact, John chapter 7 verse 5 says, his brethren did not believe in him.

So if you are a member of a family where you are the only believer, Jesus understands.

Be courageous, lean on him, and he will sustain you and if you remain faithful, the lord may use you to bring your unbelieving relatives on board.

Remember, preserve reverence wherever you are.

In this building and the other building or at home because God appreciates that very much.

How many of you have prayed for me since I've been coming to?

The those of you who've not yet prayed, God still loves you.

And say God put your words in that man's mouth.

Jeremiah 1 verse 9, then the Lord put forth his hand and touch my mouth.

And the Lord said unto me, behold, I have put my words in thy mouth Isaiah 51 16 I will put my words in thy mouth Exodus 4 12 now therefore go I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shall say I want God's words to be my words.

Favor number 3, think as you listen, please.

The first part, come now let us reason together saith the Lord.

God is willing to listen to you and to listen to the reasons why you and I do what we do.

He's willing to listen and then in that process he tries to get our hearts to direct us in the path that leads to life eternal.

Father in heaven, we thank you for the gift of life.

We thank you dear god for your undying love for us your stubborn mercy if we've offended you forgive us we pray and grant to us the enlightenment of your spirit that he may guide us into truth dear god we want to know what is thus saith the lord so give us teachable spirits dear father and a mind that is alert and listens to the word that you give to this servant of yours, this humble servant.

I pray for every person connecting their god.

I pray for all the countries represented by those listening.

I pray for the leaders, dear god because ultimately, the Bible says in Daniel 05:17, twenty-five and thirty-two, the most high ruleth in the affairs of men.

You have final say in what happens on this earth.

Father, for anyone who may have COVID-19, please God, be merciful and heal those persons, I pray.

If anyone is on his or her way to any of the sites, including this 1, grant traveling mercies to them, I pray.

Who is your God let us go to Exodus 4 we shall read from verse 10 Exodus chapter 4 reading from verse 10.

And I read from the King James version of the Bible.

My sister you read that passage very well.

The words of God should always be read as beautifully as we possibly can.

It is the most important book to the Christian in the world.

You know, Eloise says, as a means of intellectual training, the Bible is more effective than any other book or all other books combined.

If you want to develop your mind, study this.

And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant, but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue.

I used to think that simply meant he had some speech impediment but Eloi says he had been away so long from Egypt he had forgotten how to speak the language fluently.

So he said he's a man of slow speech and the lord said who hath made man's mouth Who maketh the dumb or deaf or the seeing or the blind?

Have not I the lord by the way, if god calls you to serve him and you tell him I can't speak God is telling you I made your mouth And if you've got a problem with your mouth, I can fix it.

Whatever the problem is, God is saying, I made it.

You've got a problem with your knees, I made them.

When God calls you to go and serve him, do not confront God with excuses.

When he called Jeremiah, Jeremiah said, I am a child.

Jeremiah 1 6 in verse 7, the Lord said unto him, do not say you are a child.

And that's why God gave the promise I always use.

I, the Lord put forth his hand and touch my mouth.

God give him that that a blessing because he said, I'm a child.

So, God took an altar from the altar and and call from the altar and put it on his lips.

Whatever the excuse is, God finds a way to solve it if we are willing.

Lord said, who have made man's mouth or who may give the dumb or deaf or the seeing or the blind have not either Lord.

Verse 12, now therefore go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shall say.

And he said, oh my Lord, send I pray thee by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

You can only go so far in your modesty with God until it becomes a curse.

When God calls you, he knows what you're capable of.

Don't practice, don't pretend to be more modest than you are.

Believing he will enable anyone he calls.

Verse 14, and the angle of the Lord was kindled against Moses and he said, is not Aaron the Levite thy brother?

I know that he can speak well and also behold he cometh forth to meet thee and when he seeth thee he will be glad in his heart and thou shalt put words in his mouth thou shalt speak unto him and put words in his mouth and I will be with thy mouth and with his mouth and will teach you what he shall do and he shall be thy spokesman unto the people and he shall be even he shall be to thee finish verse 16 instead and thou shall be to him instead of, now let's look at that, God told Moses you will function as God to Aaron.

Go to chapter 7, God didn't make Moses a god.

He said, you will function as 2 different things altogether.

Father, continue to instruct me in what I should say and how in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
