Summary and Conclusion

So basically I have been sharing with you things from my heart, from my own study of the Word, my own personal encounter with God's Word.

And the theme that we've been looking at throughout this weekend has been being ready for the second coming of Jesus within the context of the great controversy.

And on Sunday, we looked at the papacy and the global economy, underlining or stressing global, and the drive that the papacy has in that.

We introduced ourselves to that topic by saying that what literal Babylon did to Daniel and his friends, trying to force them to conform to their ideologies, their religion, and their way of living, their way of thinking, is the same thing that spiritual Babylon will do to God's people today just before Jesus comes again.

They tried to create and amalgamate them into their way of thinking.

And we know how they resisted and how they were not afraid to be called a cult or considered different and stood up and said, we don't care If you want us to bow down to your images, we will not bow down to them.

Our God can save us and even if he doesn't, we will still not bow down to your pressure to make us conform.

The same will be applied by spiritual Babylon today.

And of course we understand spiritual Babylon to be the Antichrist, to be the papacy that Protestants have always believed, but they have forgotten now, except for Adventists.

They went through the globalization method by globalizing government.

The government is world-directed already.

You can read books by Gary Karl about globalization.

There is a global constitution, just look for it, you'll find it.

Has it been globalized so that Revelation 13, 17, that no man can buy or sell because the whole economy is controlled worldwide.

No financial transaction is done without the knowledge of somebody.

There's no such thing as Bible, excuse me, banking secrecy.

Swiss banks have revealed all their secret accounts practically.

So that is happening and we know that to be fulfilling Bible prophecy, Revelation 13, 17.

How can you do that unless you have global control of the economy?

Then what they did in Babylon was the globalization of religion.

That again, when we see all the churches coming together, all the Protestant churches doing things together, having worship services together and saying, we are together, different Protestant denominations by high faiths, every ism under the sun comes together.

And the papacy looks on and says, come to me, my children.

And we know who wants to be the leader of it.

We learned that the whole world is wondering after the beast.

We learned that the leaders of the world, predominant and most powerful leaders of the world are either Roman Catholic or have close ties with the Vatican.

I don't have time to go through all of the names, but we saw at the G8 Summit in April in Italy at Acula that Even the Japanese Prime Minister was a Roman Catholic.

How do you get a Roman Catholic to be a president?

It's because there are people in position to make it happen.

We saw, I mean, you can just go through the list of them.

Luis, Jose Luis Zapatero, Spanish president, Roman Catholic.

Kevin Rudd, Australian president, Roman Catholic.

Because the papacy understands the need to have global control, and so what better to have your kingpin in position to do what you want.

Just mentioning, Gordon Brown, before the G8 summit, went and visited the Pope to ask him advice on how to solve the problem of the global economy, going to the Pope, to the papacy to ask advice.

We looked at caritas in veritate, love or charity in truth, the encyclical of the Pope that says we need a globalized economy, we need globalized control.

USA Today said that that should have teeth.

In other words, there should be able to be applied civil force to those that don't conform.

We also learned that 6 of the 9 Supreme Court justices are Roman Catholic.

That is where the laws of the nation are made.

And if the laws of the nation are made there and there are 6 to 3 in a majority Roman Catholic, how easy do you think by reason of vote would it be to institute a Sunday law that would have teeth?

So we see that then Ellen White tells us that when America shall repudiate the Protestant constitution, notice that we stress that the constitution is a Protestant document.

It is a document that was trying to avoid and eradicate the persecutions from the crown of Europe and the persecutions of the papacy from Europe.

So they came to America and established the Constitution which upholds religious freedom and all of those dearly held freedoms that we have or did have in America and are stealthily losing.

Those freedoms, it's interesting, and of course you know Joe Biden is a Roman Catholic as president of the United States.

So we see that when Obama was sworn in, What is ingrained in the text of his swearing in?

There are Vatican liaisons, there are Vatican ties by every world leader.

The world is being controlled, friends, by the papacy.

The majority of the press is controlled by the papacy.

You will hear only what they want you to hear.

And we hear how great and what a world savior Obama is.

We learned that it is time, in all of these instances we have seen that world leaders are in fact preparing themselves and their people to receive the mark of the beast because they are conforming to the thinking of the mark of the beast.

You know, 1 of the Supreme Court justices said that the freedom of speech and the separation between church and state is an old metaphor that should be done away with.

And that was spoken by 1 of the Roman Catholic justices in the Supreme Court.

Because of these fulfillments of prophecies in our own time, we concluded that as is written in 1 Peter 1, verse 11, that the prophets wrote and ministered more to us than to their own time, Which means that the Bible is more relevant to you and me, the closer we get to the second coming of Jesus Christ, than to any people in history.

Spending more time in our Bible, switching off the television, getting up more early, believing that the Word of God, as Job says in Job 23, verse 12, that I have loved your Word more than my necessary food.

And be like Jesus who said, my food is to do the will of him that sent me.

So we concluded, We are living in serious times.

It's time to be serious about God and not pretend that we believe in God and worship God.

It's time for us to put His Word and His will first in our lives.

It's time to stop playing with sin and making excuses, philosophical, worldly excuses, Babylonian infiltrated excuses for disobedience to God's revealed will in His Word.

To stop breaking the sanctity of the Sabbath, to stop following the worldliness around us, to put away our grudges and our differences because they are us responding to the carnal, sinful, lustful nature of our fallen flesh, that we should get on with our wives and our husbands and we should be in the business of perfecting Christian character.

We cannot do it, but we go to the Master and He will do it for us.

We come to His Word, which is living, and it will divide and separate.

It will convict us and convert us of sin if we allow the faith of Jesus to operate within us.

Then we went to our topic on Sabbath morning, entitled, Have Mercy on Me.

And we identified with David, and we saw how he, in his wealth, and he, in his ease, how he reneged on his duty in the battle against the Ammonites and he thought, you know what, the battle is secure, victory is assured, let me go home and just live it up.
