Merrick Lopez, MD has worked for Loma Linda University for the past 24 years. He was an adult and pediatric nurse prior to attending medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatrics residency at LLU in 2008, served as a Chief Resident in 2009, and completed his Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at LLU in 2012. He is an Associate Professor in the department of Pediatrics (Division of Critical Care). He is currently the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. His primary professional goal is to serve God through medicine and working with interdisciplinary teams to help save the lives of critically ill children.
