Recent Website Outage

1m read

If you tried to visit our website over the last week, you would have noticed that it was inaccessible. We deeply regret this situation. Things are improving now. Here's what happened.

Last Tuesday, March 24, we noticed that the time it was taking our web pages to load was drastically increasing. Our two web server administrators attempted to resolve the issue multiple times that day, but the problem kept coming back. By late evening, the server was virtually inaccessible.

Unfortunately, our web developer and primary server administrator was unable to investigate the problem due to other critical obligations. So, the next morning, after verifying with our ISP that it was not a network connectivity issue, it was all he could do to shut down the website, try a few ideas, and attempt to free up his schedule sooner.

After some preliminary investigation last Saturday night, our website was brought online again yesterday morning, Sunday, March 29. A full investigation is now underway, though there may yet be further episodes of downtime as we get to the root of the problem.

We deeply apologize for this ordeale. It is our full intent to make this website accessible 100% of the time, while being good stewards of the finances and talents that the Lord has given to our team. Thank you for your patience as we fully resolve this issue and move forward to a better AudioVerse experience.

Maranatha,

The AudioVerse Team
