Melinda Skau practices family and lifestyle medicine in Oroville, California as the Medical Director for Feather River Tribal Health. She graduated from LLUSM in 1982 and from Kaiser Foundation Family Medicine residency in 1985. She and her husband, Randy Skau (a general surgeon), served in Nigeria from 1994-2004 as missionaries training physicians. Together they have two adult children. Melinda leads women's Bible study groups on the topic of "Treasure Out of Trauma." She works with Hearts Being Healed, a ministry to women in her community who are seeking God's touch to heal their trauma.
