Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Vince Onkoba attended Maxwell Adventist Prep School before moving to St. Joseph, Missouri with his family. After completing church school, he attended Platte Valley Academy. Onkoba attended Missouri Western State University, majoring in chemistry and French. During his senior year of high school and freshman year of university, God revealed Himself to him in a personal way. During this time, he learned about literature evangelism, and joined a summer colporteur program. At the end of his sophomore year, God led Onkoba to attend Souls-West, a leadership and Bible training school of the Pacific Union, for two years. After graduating from Souls-West, he has ben privileged to work in literature evangelism in six different conferences from California to Michigan. Presently, Onkoba lives and works in Central California.
