Dr. Beckner graduated from Pacific University with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993. His undergraduate work at Walla Walla as an industrial arts teacher made an unlikely entry into the profession of Optometry. He opened Apple Eyecare in La Grande, Oregon in 1994 and then built his own stand alone building in 2010. The motto of "Where you are the apple of our eye" has been the driving force of the motivation for the 4 doctors and staff serving the people of Union County, Oregon.
