Secularism has become a dominant force in Western countries. In the twenty-first century, we now live in a “post-truth” era. And as Adventists, some of our distinctive beliefs make us a minority even within the reduced Christian population. As Bible believers, what is our response? How do we engage intelligently and faithfully? Maybe you’re even losing your own faith to skepticism. This apologetics seminar is for anyone desiring to grow their confidence in their faith to see the reason in it, appreciate the beauty of it, and hopefully grow in their confidence to share it. We will explore arguments for God’s existence, the case for the reliability of Scripture
and Christ’s resurrection, answers to the problems of pain and suffering, and Adventist topics like the remnant, Sabbath, and the Investigative Judgment. The goal is for you to be better equipped to “always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you.” (1 Peter 3:15)
