Welcome to the Seed Pod for beginners. I'm Ms. Ashley, and I'm so glad you are here with me today as we sing and learn about God through nature and the Bible, Ebony Ebony's. Father, please bless all the boys and girls who have joined us today. Help us to learn so much more about you and come close to Jesus. We pray in Jesus' name, amen. Jesus loves you whether you're good, and when you're not so good. He loves you. If you're big or small, boy or girl, let's sing. Jesus loves me, But he pizza. How does Jesus talk to me? Well, he talks to us through the Bible, God's special book to us. Let's sing. Jesus talks to me, Jesus, me Bibles, Jesus, hi to my whole book. Let look to We are gonna play a guessing game. I'll give you hits. Then you guess what it is. Are you ready? I am a plant. I can be lots of pretty colors, like pink, yellow, purple, orange, red, and other colors. I grow on a stem, sometimes on a bush or on a tree. I smell so good. I'm fun to pick and then share. What am I? Did you guess? A flower? You are right. I'm a flower. I'm a green plant that grows on the ground. Cows and goats eat me. He may even have me all around your house. People mow me. What am I? Grass and it's fun to run on. Last one, go outside and look up. I am blue during the day, and I'm black at night. I have a big hot light during the day and lots of little tiny lights at night. What am I? The sky. These three things are part of nature. Nature is God's second book. It helps us learn about God's love. Our story today is about God's special book to us. Do you know what that's called? The Bible. Let's pray. Dear Jesus, thank you for giving us the Bible. We love you. Help us to know you more. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Jesus loves little boys and girls. When Jesus lived in our world, he talked with them. He told them stories. He hugged them and let them sit on his lap. Do you like to sit on someone's lap too? The children knew that Jesus loved them very much. Jesus is in heaven right now. Can you sit on his lap or listen to him tell stories? Well, not yet. So Jesus gave us a special letter that tells us he loves us. Do you know what that letter is called? The Bible? Yes, that's right. Do you like to sit on mommy or daddy's lap when they read stories about Jesus from the Bible? My kids do. The name of the little boy is Timothy. Timothy loved to hear Bible stories just like you do Bible stories, help Timothy Love Jesus and learn to be like him. The Bible's a very special book, so Timothy took good care of it. Do you think he scribbled in it with crayons? No. Do you think he would drop it on the floor? No. How about hold it carefully and put it away. Yes, of course. And that's what we can do too. We can learn to take care of our Bibles because God takes care of us. Next week, we're going to learn about the very first story in the Bible. That story will tell how Jesus made our wonderful world. The sky, the birds, the flowers are pets and the people. It's memory. Verse time. I'm gonna say the memory verse, and then I'm gonna help you learn the memory. Verse two. Psalm 1 19, 1 0 5. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light onto my path. See thy word. Put your hands together and open 'em like you're opening a book. So when you say thy word, open your hand up is a lamp onto my feet. Now, point down to your feet and a light. Do you see a light in your house? You can point to a light. Let me up, up over your head, my path, and you can use your fingers to walk like you're walking a path. Okay, here we go. I'm gonna break it down really slow, and you repeat after me. Thy word is a lamp, my feet and a light unto my path. Good. Did you get it? Let's say it again. Together with me. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 1 19, 1 0 5, thy word is a lamp. Now, what is the lamp unto my feet and unto my feet? And a light. And light my path unto my path? Psalm. Psalms one 19. One 19. 1 0 5. 1 0 5. Let's pray together. Fold your hands, close your eyes and you can repeat the prayer with me. Okay? Dear Jesus, do Jesus thank you for the Bible. For the Bible. Please help me.
