Hi, boys and girls, it's Miss Cara. Are you ready for the end of our story? I am. Let's see what happens next. Tama is watching the Christians from guru Mo's house on the hill up above them. He sees them singing and praying in the yard. His heart is filled with sadness and fear. He wants to follow God, but he's scared and he's so sad over sat. He doesn't know and no one else does either, except for the Christians and the big teacher. That tattoo has been saved. He thinks he's gone. He watches with sadness from guru's house. The teachers of Islam watch the volcano as it's erupting and getting noisier and louder and they watch over. The Christians with scorn days have passed. No one has eaten. There's a sense of dread in the air from everyone, but not from the Christians. They keep singing and praying. Tama can see little Marta flitting about like a butterfly among everyone as they sing praises to God. Suddenly an enormous loud noise is heard and they look out and they can see the volcano and that spot under the surface of the ocean, spitting fire and rocks and lava into the air. One thought enters TA's mind. He has to save Marta without thinking of himself. He runs down the hill from guru Mo's house into the big teacher's yard. Marta. Marta, he says, and he grabs her up in his arms. He looks at everyone with fear and says, run, run. Save yourselves, but it's too late. The big teacher puts his arm around Tama and draws him in. It's okay, friend. He says, for a mighty mountain is our God, a wall that will not falter with that. They see a big wave as tall as the trees coming right at them. But then something amazing happens right at the garden wall. On that beach, the water divided and those walls as tall as trees filled with wreckage and seaweed went right past on either side of the garden wall and connected again on the other side, forming a circle around the teacher's house. When Tama opened his eyes, he could not believe what he saw. There was a pile of wreckage everywhere, all around them, but that hut and that garden and those people were not harmed. Everything else was washed away. The village was washed away. The teachers of Islam, their house, and everyone who had been there washed away, but that garden full of Christians, that little family was there. As he looked around, he heard a voice and felt someone grab his hand and say, Tama, God saved you. How are you here? He looked down and could not believe his eyes. There was sat, how he said, we looked for you. We tried to save you. How are you here sat said, my God is a mighty God. A God who saves a mighty mountain is my God. A wall that knew will not falter. Look at the wall around us. Tama, he saved us. Chief Meridan and the villagers who'd gone up to the hills slowly begin to stagger back. They were shocked at the damage they saw. They couldn't believe everything was gone. Everything that is except for the big teacher's house sat ran up to his father and his father fell to his knees, reunited with his son. At last, though he didn't understand why he was filled with happiness. Tama, the big teacher in sat tried to explain to him what had happened. They brought him to the big teacher's house and showed him the wall of wreckage and explained everything that had happened. Chief Meridan gathered all the villagers around him then and there and said, today, you see, there is no God but the God of the big teacher, and we must follow him for he is the one true God. From that day forward, the whole village became Christians and they all followed God. The volcano was quiet in peace, settled over the island. Tama became the big teacher's helper, and years later, sat did become chief of that island. Scientists even came to see the wreckage because no one believed that this thing could have happened. You know what the Bible says that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The God who divided the Red Sea is the same God that protects you and me today, boys and girls, thank you for listening to this story. Never forget that our God loves us. Our God saves us. He hears our prayers and listens when we sing to him. Bye for now.
