Man, hasn't it been a blessing to hear what God's been doing?

Did any tears come to your eyes like mine as we see what God has been doing?

And wonderful to be here again at yet another Pathway event.

It just seems like yesterday that these events started.

Of course, when we say they started, this is what Christ did and every faithful Christian through the ages has done.

So we can't take much credit, can we, for discovering what he's been doing.

Well, let's just bow our heads together before we get into tonight's message, and I invite you to just bow your head with me at this time.

Father in heaven, Lord, tonight we are thankful for each of the testimonies that we've heard tonight and what they represent and the ripple effect that comes as a result of unselfish medical missionary work.

I thank you for those who have traveled from around the world and across the street to come here to the streets of LA.

I thank you for the sacrifice that their families have made, that their staff members have made, that their churches have made, that their communities have made.

And I thank you for the testimonies that we could hear tonight that help us realize that it's worth it all to see hearts changed and lives changed, not just for now but for eternity.

So bless us tonight as we look at your Word and we come in Christ's name.

Yeah, I truly believe that over the past several years, these pathway events, first in San Francisco and Oakland, which we called Bridges to Health, then in San Antonio, Your Best Pathway to Health, with over 6, 000 people seen there, 3, 000 in Oakland and San Francisco, and then 3, 000 in Spokane and now in LA over 8, 500.

These have been really an answer to prayer.

And they also have shown that what was stated long ago is true.

When the cities are worked as God would have them, the result will be the setting in operation of a mighty movement such has not yet been witnessed.

And I believe we're beginning to see a little bit of that mighty event that was foretold, don't you?

Seeing how the people of God have come together to provide the healing ministry of Christ, Thousands of volunteers, some over 4, 000 this time, coming from around the world.

I talked to someone that came yet a second time from Saudi Arabia.

Coming to serve their Savior here in LA is a fulfillment of that quote.

When the cities are worked as God would have them, the result will be the setting and operation of a mighty movement such as we have not yet witnessed.

How many of you want to witness something more?

Physicians and ministers working together to bring healing and hope.

It might be on the screen for you to read.

I want to tell you that when gospel ministers and medical missionary workers are not united, there is placed on our churches the worst evil.

And you know, I believe that evil has been reversed this week.

And when We have a group of physicians and a group of ministers working together, and I hear patients coming through Lifestyle and going through Chaplaincy.

They say, look, I've never had a doctor pray for me before, and I've never had the care that I received, and all the way throughout.

You know, Christ was both a physician and a minister.

And some of us are unable to be that Christ-like.

And that's why we need to work together as the body of Christ and members individually.

When the cities are worked as God would have them, the result will be the setting and operation of a mighty movement such as not yet been witnessed.

Not only that, as I've talked to some of the folks here that are in positions of leadership within the church, I have heard them say, you know, this needs to happen in every single city in my conference.

We don't have large cities perhaps like L.A., but we have small cities.

1 conference president told me, I'm getting all the equipment for every single church can be a center of health and healing.

That is the setting in operation of a mighty movement that encompasses not just the large cities of LA, not just the large cities of San Antonio, but cities that or towns that are 50 people, 100 people, a thousand people.

How many think every city needs to experience this?

I live in a small hamlet, only 50 people it says in the population.

And I thought I might read you a letter from a small health clinic we held in that small hamlet.

These past 40 years, writes this lady who came to 1 of our clinics, we had 101 people we saw in our first clinic, and this is 1 of them.

Over these 40 years of studying, visiting churches, and going to different ones and checking them out.

I never found 1 that did what I thought a church should do until I met your outreach people.

I was duly impressed with my first encounters with your congregation and church.

Finally, a church that not only talked Jesus' ministry, but emulated his life and ministry and tried to follow his footsteps.

You talked the talk and, she has it all capitals, walked the walk.

Since then I have found a second family, totally there when I needed you and fulfilling the need in my life I had not found in all the other churches and all the other studies.

I find a deep desire welling up in with me to be a part of the work that you do, not only around the immediate neighborhood, but all over the world, bringing help and healing and being an example of Jesus, a Jesus-led life.

Does that need to happen just in LA or everywhere?

And can what happened here in LA lead other people to want to see themselves and their church do this in their community.

This is the purpose of the church, to provide comprehensive health ministry, not just around the world but also across the street.

I hope that you've been inspired to take what has happened here in LA back to your church.

How many of you have been inspired that way?

I was just talking to the lady from Glendale who was sharing with us a precious testimony of involvement with this patient.

She told me as we were talking, she said, I went to the office today, I tried to work, but I said, wait, I have to leave.

How many of you want to have that kind of addiction?

Globally, different parts of the world feel they're also expanding their medical missionary outreach, demonstrating a passion to be used by the master to heal a hurting world and to become a part of Christ's transforming love.

There's something that can happen when 4, 500 volunteers come.

I never met so many nice people in 1 building.

They might want to attend the church for a while before they jump to conclusions, But can you say amen that they at least… You know, someone told me the other day, you know, I'm having problems in church.

People aren't as nice as I thought they should be.

I pointed them to John's letter, 1 John, if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship 1 with another.

How many of you have fellowship in your church?

And then it says yet next, and the blood of Christ cleanses us from every sin as we walk in the light, which means in the church there are sinners who need the blood of Jesus.

So there's something, however, when we work in an event like this, have you noticed it?

That we don't have time to fight with each other.

We don't have time to figure out where we disagree.

We got to take that patient over to this place and that place, and we just don't have time for it.

Now tonight I want to look at 2 songs with you that I believe encapsulate, maybe they reflect the singing and the rejoicing and the joy that's in our heart.

How many of you have the gift of singing but no 1 around you seems to have the gift of listening.

All right, I'm not talking to you, but there is a song that I want to cover with you.

A songbook, you know, the Pentateuch, the first 5 books of the Bible, are mirrored by 5 songbooks in the book of Psalms.

And I like to try and match up the songs with their original setting.

How many of you like to listen to songs and say, where did they come up with that?

And the 2 Psalms I want to look at with you, this is dangerous to try and do 2 at once, but we're going to try it, is Psalm 67 and Psalm 126.

This is a psalm that I've been thinking about for a couple weeks now as I've been thinking about coming here.

And I want to show it to you, and I think you're going to see some glories in this song that will hopefully make you want to sing it.

God be merciful to us and bless us, says verse 1.

And cause His face to shine upon us, Selah, that your way may be known on earth, ye are salvation among all nations.

Let the people praise you, O God, let the peoples praise you.

O let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you shall judge the people righteously and govern the nations on earth.
