Description

In one of Jesus’ more unique healings, he pulls the deaf and speech-impaired man aside and, placing his fingers in the man’s ears, and touching his tongue, looks up to heaven and sighs before saying “Be opened.” The man’s senses were completely restored, which is the important thing. But what did all this mean? What were Jesus’ actions meant to communicate, and what do they mean for us today?
