Through a Special Lens

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for your daily blessings.

Thank you especially for giving us the opportunity to come together and to be able to study your word.

We ask this moment, Lord, that your angels fill this place where we can feel the presence of heaven here.

But most of all we want the presence of the Holy Spirit.

May the words that come out of every mouth, every word spoken today, may it be guided and directed by you only Lord.

We want to do your will and we want to be able to finish this work so we can live with you eternally.

Well for those that weren't able to come yesterday, we're just gonna do a little review of what we talked about yesterday at this particular time.

Remember that this section of the day we're going to be dealing with how to do what?

But actually we started out taking the first step.

We started with the word of God and because we wanted to find his counsel.

So we searched in a deep study and we ended up going all the way to where?

And we saw lots of quotes saying that Eden was the model of true education.

That was what God was intending for his people, okay?

And we saw that true education, it's another way of seeing God recreating and redeeming us.

So I'm gonna review 4 quotes that really stood out yesterday.

Under changed conditions, True education is still conformed to the Creator's plan, the plan of the Eden School.

This is mind, character, and personality, page 53.

Now, as never before, we need to understand the true science of education.

If we fail to understand this, we shall never have a place in the kingdom of God.

And with that quote, we could see that true education was very, very important.

To not be able to understand what true education could mean what?

In the kingdom of heaven, nor us nor our children.

In the highest sense, The work of education and the work of redemption are what?

We're redeeming, we're helping in this work.

And the last quote that we saw that stood out, Education, page 19.

He who cooperates with the divine purpose and imparting to the youth a knowledge of God and molding the character into harmony with his does a high and noble work.

As he awakens a desire to reach God's ideal, he presents an education that is as high as heaven and as broad as the universe.

An education that cannot be completed in this life, but that will be continued in the life to come.

An education that secures to the successful student his passport from the preparatory school of earth to the higher grade, the school above.

And we mentioned, have you ever imagined that after your student, your child graduates from your classroom, he's actually gonna pass on to the next classroom where God himself would be the teacher.

And I am so sorry that I should be passing, I have the quotes there so you could see also.

That was the second quote, if you wanted to look at it.

And the last 1 I just read right now, Education 19.

But today, after having looked, reviewed what we spoke yesterday, we are actually going to look at today's presentation.

Now we know what true education sort of is, right?

We had a model in Eden, and it's very important.

Now we can place our lenses on and try to see if we can really focus and try to identify what true education is, right?

Because the purpose here is that tomorrow we are actually going to be making, implementing our true education for our classroom, in our home or in our school, okay?

We're going to be looking and trying to see the ingredients and try to identify certain things.

Today's presentation is really important.

We need to grasp and see what those little pieces are.

Let's all together be praying for the Holy Spirit to guide us.

1 of the problems, or not a problem, but a question mark when I started in the journey of looking for true education.

It's gonna sound like a problem or a dilemma, but actually it isn't.

It was actually a big question mark in my head.

Is true education homeschooling or is true education a school?

Believe it or not, in some places this is a very big problem.

I did live in places where homeschooling families thought that true education was just that and out of that nothing else.

And there were some school, you know, Adventist schools that thought that it was the other way around.

True education, when done with ingredients that we are about to talk about, is a big umbrella that everybody fits under.

And we should be held by the hands because we have a goal.

So there is no dilemma and there's no problem.

There could be a problem in, excuse me, there could be a problem in homeschooling if you don't have these ingredients.

And then that is not the education we wanna see at all.

Because if true education has the goal to take our kids to heaven, and I wanna be part of that too with my kids, then the goal of education that is not true has another goal.

And I don't wanna have nothing to do with it.

And vice versa, we could have a school that is religious and that does not have the ingredients.

So we, that's why today we are wanting to put on the special lens and see, because we wanna hold our hands together, don't we?

We wanna be able to go to our societies and wherever it is, in our homes, in our churches, in our schools, big and small, no matter the ages, no matter the personality, no matter where you're from, What color of eyes you have.

I wanna be able for him to call the name of my mom.

I bet you have a list of people that you would like to see.

Let's just look to see what are the ingredients, okay?

First of all, Okay, is true education a homeschool or a school?

Well, these are some quotes that I found that are really important.

The system of education established in Eden centered in the family.

Adam was the son of God, and it was from their father that the children of the highest received instruction.
