So I was born in a beautiful island of Western Samoa, and it's like this.

But, you know, so I feel like I'm at home.

So I thank you so much for this opportunity.

If you have your Bibles with you, If you turn the Bibles in the book of Daniel, I know you have it up here, but I prefer you to use your Bible.

Because I could be lying to you and that is not a good thing.

So turn your Bibles in the book of Daniel 2 verse 31.

It's a familiar story and I'm going to look at it from a different angle of the gospel this morning Daniel chapter 2 Verse 31 Daniel 2 verse 31 when you get there, can you let me know by saying amen Daniel 2 verse 31 Says here you or King were watching and behold a great image I'm gonna read it again I want you to look up don't look at me because there's nothing good about me look at the Word of God it says here you O King were watching now this is Daniel speaking and then it says and behold a great image I'm gonna read it again is that okay I want to read it to make sure that we get the point.

The title of my message this morning, it's called Heal to Reveal.

Dear Heavenly Father, as I share your Word this morning, we ask for the Great Teacher and as the Holy Spirit.

Use me as your vehicle to bless your people this morning.

Hide me up behind your cross, and let you shine.

Have you ever had a Bible verse, I'm going to come down here because I want to connect with my family, is that okay?

Because I feel like I'm too high up here, I want to connect with my people.

Have you ever had a Bible verse that you read before and then maybe 2 weeks later or a day later or a year later you read it again and it gives you a totally different meaning.

I mean you have a Bible verse, a passage, you read it before and then a year later it gives you a totally different powerful meaning of the gospel.

And you notice in Daniel chapter 2, how many images do you see?

Because the Bible says, Daniel you while king were watching and behold a great image.

Now If you don't know the story, I'm sure every single 1 of us know the story, right?

But just in case you don't know the story, the story says that King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream 1 night, had a powerful dream, but the problem is he woke up the next morning, he couldn't remember the dream.

So therefore he called for his wise man to come and to try to tell him the dream So that wise man came and stood before the king and no 1 could recall the dream Now the Bible says the king was so mad Nebuchadnezzar was so angry now you can imagine because the Bible doesn't really go deep in how the king was feeling at that time.

You can imagine, Nebuchadnezzar is sitting on this throne.

And yet you call yourself a wise man and you can't explain you can't tell me my dream so the Bible say the king was so mad he said destroy them but we were not just only these wise men every single wise man of Bible so Daniel's just to cut the story short Daniel heard he went up to the king you requested to go up to the king and he said, king give me time.

Daniel went up to the king, he said, King, now this is a matter of life and death.

And then the man himself, Daniel went up to the king and said, King, give me time and I will tell you.

You see, before Daniel went to the king, he knew that there was a God in heaven.

He knew that there was a God in heaven that he would provide for his needs.

You know we need to have a faith like Daniel, man.

We need to be bold like Daniel sometimes.

We need to have a faith like Daniel strong he knew that there was a God in heaven that would provide for his needs so anyway the king said okay I will give you time so Daniel went to his friends and said pray you know the story pray pray finally Ghana revealed Daniel the dream And now Daniel was in front of the king and he said, you, O king, were watching.

And king, let me tell you something, you're all a great image.

So how many images do you see in Daniel 2, verse 31?

The question is how many world kingdoms are represented?

So you have Babylon, the head, then you have the meat and the persons, and then you have Greece, and then you have who?

Rome, and Rome was divided into how many kingdoms?

There are multiple kingdoms by how many image?

There are multiple kingdoms but there was only 1 image.

So then why did God not represent this as multiple image?

Like here's the image of Babylon the image of when the person comes up and destroy the image of Me the person comes up destroyed the image of Babylon the image of Greece comes up and destroyed the image of me the person The image of Rome comes up and destroy the image of who?

So why did God reveal his daughters in 1 image?

Because they build on each other They build on each other see when you consider the head and the head being who?

And the Bible said what the man thinks so is he.

And the head affects the rest of the body.

If the head is corrupt the whole body is corrupt.

If the head is right, then the whole body follows.

Did the head, did the full process of Babylon continue and infect the rest of the kingdoms?

If you have your Bible, turn your Bible to the book of Ezra.

It's a book that we normally don't go to.

It says here, however in the first year of Sire, king of Babylon, King Sire issued a decree to build this house of God.

Now we're trying to prove from the Bible that the 4 pattern, the process of Babylon continued for the rest of the kingdom.

Now my brothers and sisters, is there anything that stands out to you on this verse?

Oh, the means and the persons, but not according to this verse.

The verse says here, however, in the first year of Cyrus, king of who?

But we all know that the Medes and the Persians, the king of the Medes and the Persians is who?

You see brothers and sisters Cyrus took over the pattern of Babylon into his kingdom.

Cyrus took over the culture of Babylon into his kingdom.

Cyrus took over the beliefs, the worship style of Babylon into his kingdom.

And it says here, And on her forehead a name was written, Mystery Babylon the Great, the mother of Hylat, and of the abomination of the earth.
