If you have your Bibles, in the 24th chapter of Matthew, beginning with the 36th verse, But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away.

So shall also the coming of the Son of Man be." Now, what was really the problem with the people at Noah's time?

They were more interested in what people think than what the Lord said, weren't they?

Whether people would believe what God said or not.

And we mentioned once before, it wasn't a matter of going into the ark, it was a matter of believing God.

Now, and they were busy with things that were alright.

The only problem was it kept them from doing what?

They were marrying, giving in marriage, they were eating and drinking, they were just living normal lives as people were living in those days.

But they were so involved in it, they didn't go into the Ark.

All right, now it says, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

Then shall 2 be in the field, and 1 shall be taken, and the other left.

Now this is a very interesting statement.

Now this is our friends that believe in the rapture.

They think that people are going to be caught away, you know.

It's talking about their eternal decision.

They're going to make those decisions right about their daily activities.

Now, remember this, they weren't off in some dungeon somewhere.

They were under very normal, good circumstances when what?

It doesn't say they were in war and 1 was killed and the other 1 wasn't.

It doesn't say they were being persecuted, it says what?

Did you notice that the separation took place when they were going about their daily normal occupations?

So when these great calamities come, and are they coming?

What will we have already decided at that time?

Whether we've been taken or whether we're left?

You see, a lot of people are looking for all these things to come and then they're going to make their decision.

When all of those things come, the decision is made.

This is why God is keeping us as long as possible under good circumstances.

You see, a crisis does not Change our character, it only manifests our character.

2 women shall be grinding at the mill, the 1 shall be taken the other left.

Watch therefore, For ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Now I used to say, well, I wish the Lord would explain that a little bit more.

Why didn't he explain about these 2 taken, these that are working and one's taken and the other left?

But did you know he gives 4 illustrations after that as the situations in which they are going to be deciding.

The rest of this chapter is dealing with 1, the parable of the foolish virgins is another, a parable of virgins is another, the parable of the talents is another, and the parable of the gathering of the sheep and the goats.

These are all illustrations of what happens as a result of being taken or left.

Forty-third verse, But know this, that if the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up." You hear all kinds of things about people being robbed today and they break into houses.

Now then, if people knew at the time it was going to be broken into, what would they do?

They'd stay there and watch, wouldn't they?

But they are not there because it comes when?

Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh.

How many times has the Lord said this already?

It says in the 38th verse, "...for as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking and marrying and giving and marriage until the day that no entered in the ark, and knew not until the flood came, they were not ready.

So shall the coming Son of Man be." Then in the 42nd verse, he says, "...watch, for ye know not the hour." And in the 44th verse, he says, "...therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh." Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord, when he cometh, shall find so doing." What is he doing then?

It means that we are living and acting and talking as if...

I'm having a hard time with my phone right now.

And I'm just talking about, where I can get my decision in heaven, the judgment, and then, I believe in God.

I'm wondering if there's a person in the back.

Is it made in heaven or is it made on earth?

But it is accepted and recorded in heaven.

Then while people are going about their daily activities, without any abnormal circumstances, they're going to do what?
