Irrefutable Evidence for the Superiority of the Plant-based Diet

It's the foundation of our school, the International Institute of Original Medicine.

So, basically, if you see it on the various titles, it's really the hierarchy of nutrients.

When I finish this presentation, you shouldn't have any confusion from anybody if you have a third grade, at least a third grade education common sense.

You'll be able to talk to somebody that has a third grade education or somebody that has 15 PhDs.

There's a lot of confusion out there about diet.

There is the zone diet, the macrobiotic diet, there's the paleo diet, there's the South Beach diet, there's the raw food diet, the vegan diet, the lacto-ovo-vegetarian, there's all these different names.

What I'm going to do is show you a paradigm where you will never be confused and be able to stand tall on what the hierarchy, the most important nutrients are to the least important nutrients are, no matter what is placed in front of you.

That's what I want to do, is give you that kind of a context.

The title that I prefer to use today was Irrefutable evidence for the superiority of the plant-based diet.

And if you can be the prosecutor or you can be the judge or you can be the witness, but At the end of this, you should be able to understand why the plant-based diet is irrefutable evidence for its superiority.

It also goes under the title, let food be your medicine.

And also, adding 15 to 30 productive years to your life.

It's the most part of the most powerful system known to man for preventing and reversing all chronic degenerative diseases.

So it goes under a number of titles, but the thing that I'm going to focus on is the hierarchy of nutrients.

Now let's start out by understanding that there are basically 7 body requirements from food.

You need to get water, carbohydrates, amino acids, fatty acids, there's your starch, your proteins, your central fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes.

Now, as we look at this hierarchy of nutrients, we're gonna put it in a context of the health continuum.

There is dynamic vitality, optimum health, suboptimum health.

You guys are going to help me to build this hierarchy of nutrients.

What percentage of the people do you think, if you took all of the people in the United States and the world, what percentage do you think fit under dynamic vitality?

What percentage is under suboptimal health?

I'm going to kind of speed it up because I know, I have the dubious distinction of being between you and lunch, Okay?

And I know I look like a piece of okra or something like that, but you're going to tear my head off if I don't finish in time.

So I'm going to finish in time for lunch.

Now, the bit of the talent-shading illness is also about 5%, okay?

So that's basically how that breaks down.

What percentage, how should we fit into this?

Yeah, well at least in terms of optimum health and suboptimum health, you probably want to switch that around for our community.

And I'm going to show you if you're not there, how to get there.

Now what happens is these 2 areas, they represent those folks that are doing lifestyle medicine or original medicine, which is you're going to hear me talk a lot about in the next couple of days.

And this, if you're practicing traditional medicine, you're probably down in this area.

So what we're going to do now is look at how we can use Those people who are on the side of illness, how they can get all the way over to the wellness side of the equation.

And what I propose that we do is we're going to use what is called the hierarchy of nutrients, as I said.

How do you determine what are the best foods to the worst foods?

And this hierarchy of nutrients is going to give you a very unique perspective on your food choices.

So you'll know where you fit and how they fit into the dietary.

So with that, let's start out, because you're going to help me develop with this, remember?

With the 4 fundamental principles for the hierarchy of nutrients.

First, God wants us to thrive, not just survive.

God gives us what we need in the highest quantity.

God gives us what we need in the easiest available form.

Those are the 4 fundamental principles for developing the hierarchy of nutrients.

Okay, so you got that in the back of your mind now?

So you're gonna help me to build this thing.

So with that, we're gonna talk about 5 food groups.

What's the first and most important nutrient?

I did this in a Chinese audience once and I had to translate it and the answer came out rice.

Now it is abundantly supplied and easily available.

But the first and most important nutrient is Air.

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

If you guys missed that this morning, you should get a tape of it.

It was part and parcel of my whole original medicine philosophy.

Before he even created man, He set up the perfect environment for everything that we need.

So, the first and most important nutrient in the very first verse, he gave it to us.

So, what's the second most important nutrient?

And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, okay.

Water is absolutely necessary for all organic, all biological life.

Even bone has water, 20 to 25% water, right?

Now, let's, as we move on, what's the third Most important nutrient.

And God said let there be light and there was light and God saw that the light was good.
