The Revealing - Part 1

I was honored when Elder Mitchiff extended the invitation to me to come and to share with you the topic that we're going to be covering for the next 5 days.

Now let me just put a disclaimer out right away to those of you who are here and to those of you who may be viewing or those of you who are on the line streaming.

This is not a tiptoe through the tulips topic.

I know that they've prayed, but I want to pray before we go into the topic, because what I'm going to be presenting over the next 5 days is A topic that you may not be confronted by, but your children, your grandchildren, the children in our schools, the children in our churches.

It's not only affecting our young, it's affecting our leadership.

It's affecting our church and shaping the future of the things that are taking place in many of our colleges and in our churches around the world.

And everywhere that the Lord has allowed my wife and I to go to present this topic has created not only an increase in knowledge, but it has also affected change.

And so over the next 5 days, the topic unclean spirits is a topic that you must be prayed up in order to walk through the doors.

When I was first introduced to this topic, oh, about 10 years ago, a little less than 10 years ago.

I decided to do my own homework, my own study, my own research.

And so I've also prayed and asked the Lord to give me guidance as to what I present to you today, because some of the materials that I present are palatable, I would say, in maybe a younger audience, because I do music samples, But I don't do any music samples of any rock groups or hip-hop groups or music groups.

I don't do any music group samples But we're going to be covering some videos of testimony of those who are in the industry We're going to be Looking at various aspects of what this presentation unclean spirits is really all about So I'd like you to bow your heads with me before we go into the topic and we want to ask for the Lord to Lead and guide in making this message clear Loving Father in heaven thank you for the opportunity you present to us.

We want to make the trumpet and The sound of the trumpet very clear and distinct.

We want to awaken our people to the times in which we live.

But Lord, also we ask for your Holy Spirit to come and to bring to the hearts and minds not only knowledge but an understanding of your perfect will for each 1 of us.

Now, most of the time I'm gonna be on the screen.

I know that if the cameramen wanna go back and forth, this is a very screen-intensive presentation.

So I'm gonna ask those who are in charge of the video to, I want me to be less on the screen because the screen is what you want to look at and what you want to get the information from.

So I'm looking at the screen in the house right now.

What I'd like you to do is switch that over to, there you go, thank you very much.

Now, the reason I refer to is that Station 1, I consider this a journey.

And you are about to get on a train from which there is no exit until the ride is done.

We're going to be traveling for 5 days together.

And the key scripture for our presentation, I'd like you to read it with me, it's from Revelation 16, verse 13 and 14.

Let's read that together, if you can see that.

And I saw 3 unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

For they are the spirits of demons performing signs which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." As we sit here this morning, with the first presentation in the series of 5, is it did not come from God.

Now, many of you are probably unaware of what's taking place on the iPhones, the Android devices, the laptops, the iPads, the Kindles, whatever kind of electronic device is being used today by your young people, you may not be aware of what's being fed into their minds through the media on a constant basis.

But I've seen, not only as an individual that has done research, but at 1 time I was involved in this kind of industry myself.

So having been there, having been a disc jockey, having been involved in the nightlife of New York City and clubs, and playing music when I played guitar, and seeing the impact on the world, we live in quite a different world than our young people.

And so our world today, as we think of the reality that we're coming toward the end, we must keep also in mind that there is a mission.

The mission of heaven is carried on by what I might refer to as the true Godhead, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

But there is another mission that is taking place in our world because we are in a constant battle between light and darkness, truth and error, Satan and Christ.

And as we get closer to the end, we know that the controversy is going to intensify because the devil knows that he has but a short time.

So the Bible talks about the mission of Satan.

There was a claim that Lucifer made that is being fulfilled in startling detail in our world today.

We find these words in the book of Isaiah chapter 14, verse 14.

He said these words as he began his mission.

At the outset of the great controversy, Satan made this statement.

He said, I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.

There's the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but there's a false Godhead.

You find at the top the dragon, then the bottom left the beast, and the bottom right the false prophets.

Now, most of our theology focuses on the beast, the Mark of the Beast, the 4 beasts of Daniel, the beast of Revelation, and then we also talk about apostate Protestantism.

Many false prophets and false Christs will arise.

But I noticed a number of years ago, which also led me to dive into this topic, is we talked very little about spiritualism.

And spiritualism is an arm that is diluting worship in a way that will startle you unless you paused and saw the impact on Christianity around our world.

But it's not only affecting Christianity, it's affecting society.

It's affecting society at the deepest level.

And what I'm going to talk about today is not just an attack on the church, but it is attacks on every system in our world that supports morality to some degree.

Here's the global warning from the book of Revelation chapter 12 and verse 12.

The Bible says, Woe to thee, inhabitants of the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you having together great wrath because he knows that he has a what?

When I graduated from high school, I won't tell you what year that was.

When I graduated from high school, and there are some of you that go back beyond the late 70s, maybe some of you graduated in the 60s and the 50s and the 40s and the 30s.

I take my hat off to you if somebody graduated from high school in the 20s and you're here this morning.

But whenever you graduated, you can see there is a progression in our world.

The closer we get to the end, the darker and the more, I want to find the right word, the darker and the more satanic our world is becoming.

There were times when I was growing up that there was no need to put a disclaimer on a television program before it began.

Those of you that remember the honeymooners or Ozzie and Harriet.

But you might remember very well that in those days, you could feel fairly safe to put your children in front of a television and walk away and come back in maybe an hour or 2 or 3 or 4, however long they watched, and you may feel self-assured that their minds were not polluted.

Satan has taken over every facet of communication.

And my brother, bring me up just a little bit because I can't really hear myself up here.

But listen to what Ellen White says in the book, Darkness Before Dawn, page 23.

She says, Satan has long been preparing for his final effort to deceive the world.

Do you believe that we're living in the days of his final effort?

But notice what she says, little by little, He has prepared the way for his masterpiece of deception in the development of spiritualism.

He has not yet reached the full accomplishment of his design.

But, she says, it will be reached in the last remnant of time.

It Did Not Come from God - Part 2

Our precious Father in Heaven, we thank you.

For the reality that the topic we're dealing with today, Lord, is not the topic that brings me the greatest joy.

I pray that today, Lord, as I communicate information, that I will not forget that the greatest deliverance is not just intellectual understanding, but the person of Christ Jesus.

And so Send your Holy Spirit here this morning as we walk through this valley of mazes that have been established in our world to darken the minds of our young people, to sometimes cause some of our people and our leaders to go astray.

And we know we're living in an hour where Satan is not only coming with an intensity and a wrath as never before, but we know that he is more subtle than at any other time in history.

So speak to our hearts this morning and may Jesus be praised.

Now some of you, I know that I thank the Lord for the audio and visual team, but they all do their best to switch back and forth between the slides and my face on the screen because some of you yesterday mentioned that while there were slides on the screen you couldn't see my face and vice versa.

So bear with us because what you see on the screen is not necessarily what's being on the final recording.

They do a wonderful job in switching back and forth.

But today, I'd like to invite them to bring the screen up because we are on our second topic today.

We are at station 2, which is entitled, The Revealing.

Now, just to lay some foundation, what the Unclean Spirits series is, is the Lord revealed to me about 10 years ago, what was happening not only in our world but also affecting our church.

The subtle changes in our worship style, in the demands for different kind of music, in the watering down of our messages and the over emphasis of more music, heavier music, music that does not identify with our kind of worship.

And I asked myself where is it coming from?

And having been delivered out of the music industry, I used to play R&B music and I played guitar in a band when I was a young man, worldly music.

That means I played in clubs, turntables in the World Trade Center, on Broadway in New York.

I was a night life person, a gambler, a pool hustler, an intense partier.

I went to church out of obligation knowing that I was raised to go to church.

I was in the building, but I was not in Christ.

And so I know very well that not everyone in the building is in Christ.

And we bring into the church, because the church is a hospital for sinners, can I get an amen?

Every 1 of us is at a different place in our walk with Christ, every 1 of us.

For that reason, in the transition between where God found us and where we're headed, we bring our paraphernalia with us.

And until we are changed from what we were to what God wants us to be, which by the way is done at a different pace for each individual.

Everyone has a different walk with Christ.

But in the process we often come into the church and because of where we came from We often like to bring the things that we were comfortable with into the church with us to maintain our level of comfort But what has happened is in many cases I've heard this over and over My wife and I have traveled together in more than 60 countries, and what we've heard from Kenya to the Philippines, from the West Indies to places in Asia and Europe, what we've heard in many of these places is people are saying, what is happening to our church?

Why are we becoming a people less emphasizing our message and more emphasizing music?

And our sermons are dying off and we're losing our distinctness.

And As I began to research, I discovered much of it has to do not with coincidence, but with a cleverly devised plan that the church has been adopting from the world.

And instead of bringing the world up to the church, the church is going down to the world.

And notice the scripture in the Bible that Satan reveals exactly what his plan is.

And I saw 3 unclean spirits like frogs, read that with me, coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

For they are the spirits of demons performing signs which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, that's including us, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

And in the book Darkness Before Dawn, this very timely quotation that God gave to Ellen White fits into the context of our presentation.

Satan has long been preparing for his final effort to deceive the world.

He's been working on this ever since his fall.

Little by little, and that to me says subtly, little by little he has prepared the way for his masterpiece of deception in the development of spiritualism.

He has not yet reached the full accomplishment of his design, but it will be reached in the last remnant of time." Do you believe we're living in the last remnant of time?

Of course, we're living in the last days.

If you look at the political landscape around us, it's hard to keep politics and religion apart today.

I mean, our world has regurgitated some of the vomitive politics our church is affected by it.

But we are a people that need to be distinct from the world.

But Satan is including not just the whole world, but he as Revelation 12 and verse 17 says, he's angry with the woman who keeps the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

The only defense against the world completely being annihilated by sin is the Lord has established His church and He said, on this rock I build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

And so hell cannot stop the progress of the church.

Hell, the gates of hell are backing up as the church is going forward.

But as the church is going forward, Satan is devising plans whereby he can come in in subtle ways.

For example, If someone said to me not to move, let me use an example.

If someone said to me, and if you can follow me carefully, this cell phone, I'm going to put it right here.

If someone said to me, don't move that, and I had 6, 000 years to move it, I could move it a millimeter.

And over 6, 000 years I will move it down to the other end of the stage and you'll never know I touched it.

Not only that, During the Dark Ages, many things that laid the foundation for spiritualism, and let me talk about spiritualism very quickly, many of the things laid by the foundation of spiritualism was inserted into Christianity, and today much of what Christians believe has no Bible support at all.

So we have to be very careful when we begin to adopt practices from denominations that don't have the light that God has given to us.

And that's often what's happening because today through the iPad, the iPhone, the Android, whatever device you have, most of us in our young folk, in our churches, many of us as Adventists listen to some of the same Christian music as people of other denominations.

So right away that's already broken down the wall.

They say, well I listen to that artist and so do you.

And so we find a commonality right there and we say, well since I like that artist and you do too, we have something in common.

And remember Revelation 17 says that they will have 1 mind and when you get this 1 mind it begins to erode the things that you don't have in common.

But because you do have something in common you begin to ignore the things that you don't have in common and then you have phrases like, well we all love the Lord.

Well that's true, but to whom much is given, much is required.

And Satan knowing that, devised a plan As we have great evangelists in our world Satan Searched and looked and there was a man.

He chose that has become the prophet of the occult world That all of those in the entertainment industry know very well those who are power players, money moguls, music industry moguls, movie moguls, rap artists, rock artists, R&B, you name it they know who he is because they use his Bible to devise all the things that they do in their music, in their dress, in their styles, in their movie productions, they use this particular Bible.

Let me introduce to you today, those of you who were not here yesterday, the modern prophet of the occult movement.

He was raised in a Christian home, but there was a deep-seated desire in him to be more than what his father and mother desired for him.

And somewhere in his own life this seed of rebellion was planted and it was nurtured tremendously.

When his father passed away, it became a trauma in his life and he walked away from anything that had any semblance of Christianity.

He got involved in black magic, white magic, sex magic, peyote, drugs, heroin, he was a bisexual, he practiced that and all the things he did, he did that because he joined a campaign to destroy everything that had to do with morality.

He was so wicked that France barred him from coming into France.

They labeled him the most wicked man that ever lived.

He lived between 1847 and I think 18, between the 18 and 1900s.

But he in the time, in the course of time, he wrote a book that he says was inspired.

It's called Libra al Valerges in Latin or the Book of the Law.

And he claimed that the contents of this book was inspired by an evil spirit when he and his wife were on their honeymoon in 1904 in Cairo, Egypt.

And over the course of 3 days he wrote down everything in this book that he said an evil spirit told him that he whispered over his left shoulder and this book is a transcription of all the things he said this evil spirit has told him.

Now I'm going to shock you in a couple of days, you'll see how far this book has gotten.

But I remember in my research I had access to a copy of it and in the very beginning it says do not read what's inside this book because there are forces that you will unleash that you cannot control.

In the very same way when we read the Bible we pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire our minds to open our eyes in the very same way they pray for evil spirits as we have good angels they have evil angels As we pray for the Spirit of God to lead us to accomplish God's will, they pray for evil spirits to lead them to accomplish their will.

But the question is, how would a single man get his message to the world?

The Bible says, Go therefore and do what?

Mixed Signals - Part 3

Precious Father in heaven, thank you Lord, that as we ask for wisdom from above, you will impart it.

This morning, I pray that as we open our hearts to being informed that, Lord, you will buff it and buffer this information as your Holy Spirit filters what each of us is able to receive.

I pray that you'll give me clarity of mind and that the information will not overshadow the purpose that you ordain to be accomplished in each of our lives.

And may you be praised as we counteract the counterfeit, as we unmask the attempts the enemy is making to pull us into this vortex of deception.

And may the end result be the salvation of our children, the strengthening of our walk with you, and the praise that you alone deserve.

This morning we are on, we are at station 3.

2 days ago we got on board a train and I said to you, we're not going to get off of this train until the ride is done.

We live in a world today where the signals are mixed.

And unless our minds are furnished with the ability to be able to discern between light and dark, good and evil, then we don't get the message clearly.

And so what I'm going to do today is we're going to see the difference or witness the difference or the contest between the obvious and the obscure.

Satan has a way of orchestrating His kingdom so that those of us who are in God's kingdom are sometimes blinded to His approach and the pathway of deception.

I remember reading in Ellen White's writings, she said that, Satan's footsteps are noiseless.

They creep upon us and before we know it, they overwhelm us.

And so this morning, what I'm going to do by this presentation, I am going to, as it were, add some sound to Satan's footsteps so that not only will your eyes continually be opened, but your minds will be quickened.

Because what I've been presenting over the last 2 days, our young people are being challenged by this at an alarming rate and I've made attempts to present this at some of our academies and some of our colleges and frankly the doors are closed because the sad reality is many of many of our own people don't want to hear about it.

And as I've traveled the world and I've seen worship going in a completely different direction, when your worship style is foreign to the truth, then Satan is making a tremendous impact on you.

When your entertainment pulls you away from the truth, then Satan is making an impact on you.

When the music you listen to no longer causes you to feel any sense of a need of reformation or change, then Satan is stealthily stealing a march upon us.

And so this morning I'm going to share some things with you that, there are going to be some video clips.

If I have enough time I'll get to some of the video clips of showing you how music is able to change your emotion in a split second.

I'm also going to talk about the rise of a book series.

Some of you heard about the Harry Potter book series, and how that came to such a prominent place.

But let me begin by giving you a Bible text here in 2nd Corinthians chapter 4 and verse 4, and the Bible talks about how Satan works.

And the Apostle Paul says, whose minds the God of this age has done what?

Has blinded, and here are the ones whose minds are blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

So the deeper a person gets into this world, the darker their understanding, The greater the inability to be able to see what Satan is doing to them when I was involved in the music world When I was a disc jockey when I was involved in clubbing and partying and gambling and pool hustling My senses of spirituality were dead So the devil is really not concerned about those who are already on the path of destruction.

He's not concerned about them at all, but he's concerned about those of us who are on the path of righteousness.

And His aim is really not the world because He already has them, but the ones He wants to take into His grasp are those who are in the army of light, who He knows that their artillery is the Word of God and Truth.

So if He can get us to minimize that which is being maximized and maximize that which is being minimized, if He can get us to turn away from the very thing that God has established as our strength, then He knows that He's stealing a march upon us.

We're also going to see that the occult world seduces through blindness.

I'm going to play right now a video clip, and what I want you to listen carefully for is this movie came out about maybe 20 years ago, but in this very short scenario, what you're going to see in the very beginning is the producers of this short clip are telling the audience, And it amazes me, they are actually telling the audience in this little scenario what kind of world they're in and how the world is orchestrated and how the world is establishing a system of slavery.

From the time we're born, we're born into a system of slavery that holds on to us.

Everything about our world is a time for that.

Then you're going to see a short clip I edited.

I'm going to show you 1 of the more popular artists, and many people know her by just a single name, Beyonce.

What you're going to see is the reaction of the audiences that she gave concerts all over the world and the clip you're going to see is the reaction of her audiences before she even performs.

And you're going to be able to see the kind of spirit that controls her audience But what what I want you to keep in mind also is anybody who sells out to this what I call this mega platform of Fame and fortune they all have the same kind of reaction.

If you go all the way back to Elvis, anybody remember Elvis?

In some way he is, because it seems like every year during his birthday there is some kind of pilgrimage down to Graceland and people are still worshiping a man that has died a long time ago.

Everybody that's raised to this level of mega platform stardom and fame and fortune, they all get the same reaction from their audiences.

Because the devil has promised, he shows them the kingdoms of this world in all their glory and he says, all these things I will give you if you fall down and worship me.

But remember as I said yesterday, it is not the journey that we're on alone, but it's the final destination.

And when these groups make a contract with the devil, the end result is their souls belong to him.

When I gave this series first I got a phone call from Janet Jackson's entertainment lawyer who worked for Universal.

But I still keep that message and we've become good friends.

And he said to me, when I saw your series, Unclean Spirits, my wife and I watched it 5 times.

And the way that happened, he says, he was in a search for truth.
