Born Again - Part 1

Dear Father, we come to you and we thank you Lord that you are our creator and you have brought us here as brothers and sisters of the Adventist Church and you have given us the message and Lord help us to experience your power in us so that we can really preach your message father help us to cleanse from all iniquity flesh and spirit so we can be a witnesses hundred percent for your cause Lord revive us father we need revival Send us your Holy Spirit tonight and through this weekend.

Please take me away from here and I pray for Jesus to speak, not me tonight.

So, okay, we have a little bit scattered audience.

So if you're in the back seat, I'm going to be bold and call you forward.

Come a little closer so that we can be all together like a family.

I don't want to see my family members all across the table.

You know those British kings and the kings on 1 side and the queen and you can't even communicate with your family members?

Is that what our church is going to be like?

Come forward and make sure that you have your Bibles.

Okay, we're going to have some Bible Scriptures on the screen as well.

So if you have your Bibles, please turn with me to John chapter 3.

This is going to be our theme our theme for the whole weekend, John chapter 3.

And as it was said already, coming from Weimar Institute, We are very excited for different ministries that the Lord is working through some of our parts in our Adventist Church.

And 1 of the visions of the general conference for something that have you have you guys ever heard of did you ever hear there's a concept called TCI T did anybody Did anyone hear about TCI or TMI?

As This is a general conference initiative and at Weimar Institute we try to tweak it a little bit and we call it TCI, total campus involvement.

And so what we do once a week on Wednesday afternoon for 3 hours, everybody leaves campus.

Staff, teachers, janitors, students, everybody, we go together in different vans and we just go and do community outreach for 3 hours every week.

And we do, we have bright yellow shirts, just like this 1 over there.

Bright yellow shirts and it says, need help.

And so we ask people if they want some, We're knocking on doors and we're saying, we're here to help.

Help with anything we can do, we're here to help.

So help us to be better students so we can help.

We have so many contacts in the community.

All of a sudden, before we used to be this closed campus and everybody's like this Adventist over there, but now we are in the community and we get to talk with them.

We have 40 people getting ready for baptisms right now.

Just from 2 years, students and the students looking at that, how just helping the community, people start to love us and they ask us more, they ask about health, we have different health programs on campus, and so they're connecting on a physical and spiritual level.

So those are some things that we do and I really encourage you, what's your name again?

Yellow shirts, need help, I'll talk to you about that later okay okay I'm stalling as you can tell because of this but this this is very good thing another thing that's that we have at Weimar Institute going on is something we call Reformation tour I don't know if you heard it.

Do you know, do you guys know what happened 2 years ago?

It was 500 years of Martin Luther nailing what?

So we started taking our students and our staff and everybody.

We started taking people to a spiritual journey tour in Europe.

If you want to join us, we're doing it every year.

It's a two-week tour and starts with Rome.

We go to the Colosseum, listening to the stories of the martyrs, of the Christians who went before us and how they are faithful in their faith.

I don't know if you guys know this guy over here.

So we go to Rome, Titus Arch, we go to Peter and Paul prison, Vatican, St.

So we basically see the development of pagan Rome in Bible prophecy and then turning into papal Rome.

And we look at that and we see the evidence right there.

And after that we go to Florence where there is a reformer Savonarola.

And you probably don't know about this guy but you'll learn if you go on a tour.

He was a He was burned at the stake for preaching Reformation before Luther.

Well, then in valleys go to Valdenzian valleys.

We go to the cave where the Valdenzians were smoked and died because they did not want to yield their Bibles to papacy.

This is a Valdenzian pastor from the Valdenzian valleys, Estevan.

We've been in association with him for 3 years, and now he accepts the seven-day Sabbath.

And his church started worshipping on Sabbath as well.

And so now the other Waldensians think that he is radical and crazy.
