Will You Stand? Will You Withstand?

Eternal Father, we are here today on your Sabbath asking, O God, for your blessings, to understand your Word, to apply its principles, to understand, to comprehend its prophetic disclosings.

Nothing is more relevant, pertinent, and necessary for these times as this assembly gathered today as this assembly gathered today on the seventh day of the week, the memorial of creation.

Collectively, we are here to worship our Creator, God, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, according to the dictates of his inspired Word and our consciences.

My brothers and sisters, we may not capture the significance of our unique gathering, but the rest of the world does.

We are a rare Christian community in a world of ecumenism, universalism, humanism, materialism, paganism, in an evolution-saturated society.

We have never been or will be a majoritarian community.

Our global membership is reported on Google as 25 million.

We celebrate our numbers because it gives us a sense of mission and success.

But numbers do not define our purpose or our presence.

In contrast to our membership, the same source identifies the global population as 7.8 billion.

Our planet's 3 most densely populated cities are Tokyo, 38.1 million, Delhi, India, 25.7 million, Shanghai, China, 23.74 million.

So by comparison, Seventh-day Adventists are less than 0.33% of the world's total inhabitants.

We are a minority of humanity, a minority within Christianity.

When the California state legislature's proposed legislation which would in effect control the content of sermons, was put forth and the political debate ensued.

It came and went without a whimper from the Christian community.

It could not comprehend the larger significance of the proposed law.

The Washington Examiner presented an op ed on this historically significant legislated transaction.

It was introduced by the Democratic States Assemblyman Evan Lowe of San Jose on June 4, 2019, as a way to gather support for the LGBTQ identity and behaviors.

Protestant America was caught off guard by this bold activism.

So quickly, the political influencers were mobilized from the right to construct social fences for the Christian community.

But there's more that happened in 2019, which deserves our attention.

Using hate labels to demonize Christians, the Southern Poverty Law Center put a Christian ministry on par with the Ku Klux Klan.

James Kennedy Ministries, a Christian media ministry founded in 1974 by the late Dr.

James Kennedy as Coral Ridge Ministries, unsuccessfully fought the Southern Poverty Law Center for putting it on the center's hate map.

1 news source stated, quote, this legal battle could be important to Christians across America because they could be targeted as haters just for their faith.

I continue to quote, it has happened to dozens of groups, including the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based D.

James Kennedy Ministries, because it stands for traditional marriage and against radical parts of the LGBTQ agenda.

So the Southern Poverty Law Center proudly announced the defeat of a lawsuit on their website referencing First Amendment rights.

The presiding judge permitted the hate label placed against Dr.

Who else might be labeled as a hate group for their biblical adherence and prophetic interpretations?

Major world religions and environmentalists in 2019 expressed hope and promise in Pope Francis's papal encyclical, Laudato Si, on care for our common home.

Presented originally in 2015, the encyclical or papal law connects civic and religious entities bound together under papal influence.

It is now in the implementation stages, supported by a collaborative effort to create a complete ecumenical context for all religious belief systems around a pantheistic philosophy.

Within the 184 pages of this document, Pope Francis introduces readers to, quote, the gospel of creation, end quote, as he defines it in chapter 2.

He outlines the method and manner for achieving environmental recovery through what he terms respecting quote, the laws of nature, end quote.

An intentional reference to natural laws put forth by the Catholic theologian, Thomas Aquinas.

Pope Francis writes, I quote, this responsibility for God's earth means that human beings endowed with intelligence must respect the laws of nature.

Along these same lines, rest on the seventh day is meant not only for human beings, but also said that your ox and your donkey may have rest, citing Exodus 23 and verse 12.

He further declares, the biblical tradition, quote, clearly shows that this renewal entails recovering and respecting the rhythms described in nature by the hand of the creator.

We see this, For example, in the law of the Sabbath.

On the seventh day, God rested from all his work.

He commanded Israel to set aside each seventh day as a day to rest, a Sabbath.

September the 12th, 2019, Pope Francis announced an initiative inviting global heads of state, business leaders, academics, and sports personalities to Rome May the 14th, 2020.

Building on Laudato Si, Francis launched a bold education initiative in September 2019 to purposefully and strategically alter educational processes for global humanity.

His theme, reinventing the global educational alliance.

His purpose, re-educating the world to a new perspective in environmental stewardship.

His goal, the unification of people and religions.

Crux, 1 periodical for disseminating Roman Catholic thought and beliefs carried several noteworthy quotations from the papal leader.

Quote, according to Francis, education today clashes with a process of rapidification that entraps or that traps human existence in a whirlwind of high-speed technology and computerization continually altering our points of reference.

He continues, according to an African proverb, Francis wrote, it takes a whole village to raise a child.

When it comes to education, that village still needs to be created, beginning by clearing the ground of discrimination.

And fraternity must be allowed to flourish.

I invite everyone to work for this alliance and to be committed individually and within our communities to nurturing the dream of a humanism rooted in solidarity and responsive both to humanity's aspirations and God's plan.

Now due to the coronavirus, the event has been rescheduled for October 2020.

However, Not long after Pope Francis' formal announcement through 1 of their journals, the same entity took aim at the founder of a lesser known Protestant organization in another magazine, the Catholic Weekly.

The individual was classified as heretic of the week in January 2020.

Is it possible They are more settled about who we are than we are.

We are not focused about our calling, assignment, and mission, but they are.

According to Crookes, Pope Francis is inviting the world to work for this alliance and to be committed individually and within our communities to nurturing the dream of a humanism rooted in solidarity and responsive both to humanity's aspirations and God's plan.

Indeed, indeed, God does have a specified Detailed plan established at creation.

However God's plan Does not coincide or commingle with the plan referred to by Francis.

Since sin entered this planet, it has been Satan's decided effort to erase God's stamp of ownership and replace it with his own.

God's servant to the remnant church forewarned us of these developments.

Quote, the Sabbath question is to be the issue in the great final conflict in which all the world will act a part.

Men have honored Satan's principles above the principles of that rule in the heavens.

They have accepted the spurious Sabbath which Satan has exalted as a sign of his authority.

Each Sabbath institution, both true and false, bears the name of its authority in any faceable mark that shows the authority of each." End quote.

So The Seventh-day Sabbath that brings us all together today is at the epicenter of the great controversy.

An alliance to achieve commonality, ecumenical unity, and social solidarity is not the template of Christ, but a reversal of the tower of Babel.

Why isn't anybody talking about what's going on?

When did we so boldly move away from God's divine order that legislative bodies would enact laws supporting lifestyles that counter creation?

Reaching into church assemblies to dictate sermon content.

Why would a group known for their stand against the traditions of Rome and pagan religions embrace that which is clearly not biblical?

Well, consider with me 5 elements that are plaguing contemporary Protestantism.

They have forsaken the Bible as the only rule of faith.

Obedience to God, 0.2, is evidence of Christian adherence is not expected or encouraged.

3, faith in Christ alone has disintegrated as foundational, being replaced by the belief that there are many ways to salvation.

For mysticism has tackled Protestant worship services as congregations have abandoned sola scriptura in pursuit of the ethereal, the supernatural, and experience of the worship event.

Then the last point is that the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation are corrupted by the Jesuitical usurpation of the Protestant reformers historical delineation of Scripture.

Protestantism today cannot see the agenda embedded in Laudato Si through prophetic lenses.
