1. Daniel 12: 1260 Days and Time of the End

This presentation this morning will be in 2 sections.

Part 1, it deals with the 3 and a half times and the time of the end.

And the next 1 deals with the 1290, 1335 days, and Daniel standing in his lot.

Heavenly Father, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my lips be to your honor and glory in Jesus' name, amen.

The chapter some people see is totally different from the rest, but that is not true.

We need to look at the context, and the context of this chapter 12 is the conclusion of chapter 11.

So chapter 11 ends with the words of the final papal strategy to destroy God's remnant, and it ends in a defeat of the king of the North.

The prophecy of Daniel 11, the end is, and he, the King of the North, shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain.

Yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him." The final strategy is to destroy God's remnant.

That is from the Strategy of the King of the North.

Here is another translation, because this is 1 of the more difficult translation aspects of the chapter.

He will pitch his royal tents between the seas, And then in the Hebrew, it specifically says, "'Toward the beautiful holy mountain.'" That is a New English translation.

"'Here is the final attempt of the papacy "'to destroy God's remnant "'that survived the final onslaught of persecution.'" That is during the time of trouble.

The final papal strategy to destroy God's remnant.

His strategy is to put his royal tents, or the center of the false papal worship, between the seas toward facing the beautiful or glorious holy mountain.

Now what does the book of Revelation talk about the seas?

Between the seas, if you see, if you picture Palestine here, and the 1 is the Great Sea, the Mediterranean, and the other 1 is the Gulf of Aqaba.

Between the 2 waters, there he puts his place.

So in other words, in a spiritual sense, in the final strategy, the king of the north, The Catholic Church puts his seat between the peoples of the world, left and right, and then facing his final strategy on what?

And the beautiful, glorious mountain in the end of time is God's remnant people.

He is in the center of the world and focusing now his attack on God's people.

So the papacy will place its apostate worship in the midst of the peoples of the world, leading them towards the beauty of the glorious holy mountain, God's remnant in the final global attack to destroy them.

And if this is a little foreign to you, a number of weeks ago I had a special series on Daniel 11.

And so this is simply the continuity of Daniel 11, which is chapter 12.

And what see the first element here in chapter 12 is in verse 1.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince, with stent for the children of thy people.

And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to the same time.

And at that time, thy people shall be delivered.

Everyone that shall be found written in the book.

So the question is here at the end of this presentation, where am I?

And if you are not a part of the book of life, Then that's very, very sad.

Now this time of troubles as it never was is then the specific time of Jacob's trouble.

So the observation is during the final time of trouble, after the close of probation, Christ will intervene in behalf of his people and deliver everyone written in the book, the book of life.

When Christ finishes his atoning ministry.

At that time, Michael, and if you study very carefully the book of Revelation, you will see then that Michael is Christ, the greatest of all the angels, the head of all the angels.

When in chapter 10, they are fighting over Medo-Persia and Greece and then Rome, it is Michael who stand up and will help the angel Gabriel, because the angel Gabriel is not able to win the fight, but only Christ wins the fight.

And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time.

And at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.

And so here you can see here how beautiful chapter 12 responds to this crisis situation in chapter 11.

And now God's people will be delivered when Michael stands up.

And here in early writings, and if you read that section in page 36, Elon Musk writes here, when our high priest has finished his work in the sanctuary, he will stand up.

He put on the garment of vengeance and then the 7 last plagues will be poured out and they are terrible.

Those are the most crucial, devastating plagues.

It's in response to what the United Nations and all the leadership of all the people of the world have decided, they have decided and the genocide of God's people.

So therefore, Michael's standing up and his response is in harmony with the genocide of God's people.

And so when he finishes the work in the sanctuary, there is no more mercy.

Why should God continue to have mercy on the wicked?

No more, because the ministry in the sanctuary is over.

Atonement is finished, And then God's people will stand there by themselves, but not alone, because there is still the Holy Spirit.

But Christ is in heaven, and then coming down on the clouds of heaven.

And now the final recognition will take place.

And there in verse 3 you find a special resurrection.

The text says, and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Now does it say that all people will be resurrected?

No, some and some to everlasting life And some to everlasting contempt.

Those who have worked for the Lord and have given all their lives to the Lord, their names are in the book of life and they will be resurrected.

Can you imagine if people from 1844 onwards to the end of time have been slaving and proclaiming the Lord's coming and they don't even see Him coming?

No, those people who have proclaimed the 3 angels' messages all their lives and have died in the faith of the 3 angels' messages, They will have the special privilege of the special resurrection.

But also those who have fought against the truth, those who have nailed them on the cross.

The thief of the cross, who accepted it is in 1 category.

Those who denied him is in the other category.

And so here, then, in a beautiful way, the final reward will be given.

It's at midnight, Elenite continues, that God manifests his power for the deliverance of his people.

In the midst of the angry heavens is 1 clear space of indescribable glory, whence comes the voice of God, like the sound of many waters saying, it is done.

Graves are opened, and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

All who have died in the faith of the third angel's message come forth from the tomb glorified to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept his law.

But they also who which pierced him, Revelation 1, 7, those that mocked and derided Christ, dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of his truth and his people are raised to behold him in his glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient.

And so those people who have fought with the 3 angels' messages to do their life, and those who have hated the 3 angels' messages and have fought against our people, they will see him, and he will be justified and sanctified and vindicated.

Verse 3, and they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they shall turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

They that are participant in the latter rain proclaiming the loud cry.

Are you preparing for the latter rain, the loud cry?

2. Daniel 12: 1290 Days, 1335 Days, and Time of the End

This afternoon we will start with part 2 of Daniel chapter 12, and part 2 deals with the second dialogue that David had for the angels with Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we ask you to fill us with your Holy Spirit and may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, our Savior and Redeemer.

CONGREGANTS AND PASTORS AMEN Most of the misunderstanding has to do with the second part.

And the idea of A number of years ago, in fact, when I was in Korea as a missionary, there were some American missionaries, self-supporting missionaries coming over and giving us new light.

And the new light is, yes, we understand that the 1260, 1290, and 1335 days had been fulfilled as a prophetic time, But now the new light is that it is also fulfilled in literal days.

I mean, I had heard something like that in the early days of the Advent movement, in the 1840s, late 40s and whatever, when fanaticism came into the church, but not later on.

And you know, when I observed this, it was really amazing how the new interpretations caused a revival among the student body of Sam Yung University, which is really our largest university that we have in the world.

And, you know, that has given me some interesting study time.

And the Biblical Research Institute of our church, and I am a member of the Biblical Research Committee that will meet twice a year.

And very soon we will meet again in Loma Linda University and other times we will meet at Andrews University.

And We will study some of the new insights.

I got this information specifically from Dr.

Fondel, Gerard Fondel, who is a retired member now of that organization.

And he gave some interesting insights that I will share with you here also.

So now here, the second dialogue, and that is Daniel 12, verse 8 through 11.

And the idea is here that yes, those prophecies has been fulfilled prophetically in the past, but now have a secondary in fulfillment of literal time.

So yes, it was fulfilled prophetically in 1844 and 1843 and 1798, but now we have seen it again.

Daniel wrote, although I heard, I did not understand.

Remember the first dialogue, Jesus was going to explain in a specific way the time prophecy of time, time, and half a time in relation to when the time of the end begins.

Daniel heard this, but he says, I heard, but I did not understand.

So Daniel talks now to Jesus, the man of linen.

And Daniel said, my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

Daniel asked Jesus for further clarification about the time of the end.

He earnestly wants to know when the time of the end will arrive, so the book will be unsealed." Because Daniel saw that it was crucial importance.

And here now, Jesus, the man of linen, again replies in terms of the time of the end.

So undoubtedly it is all related to the time of the end.

And he says, go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

So Jesus, in the moment of Daniel, and what you want to know, go your way, it's sealed.

So Twice then, the first time, it refers to the time of the end.

And now again, when Daniel says, yes, I don't understand, please explain it to me.

Again, Jesus says, go your way, mind your business, Daniel, for the words are closed.

And so both the time, time and half a time, and the 1290 are associated with how to determine the time of the end.

Many shall be purified and made white and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand." So think about it here.

Observation, those who are wise shall understand these prophecies.

And that I think is a rebuke to some of us because how many of us understand this prophecy?

If we don't understand this, then you certainly are not being, you know, put together with the wise.

Jesus prophesied, and from the time that the daily and sacrifice basically in your Bible is in italics, because this has been added because of the interpreters.

But it really, the literal thing is the daily or the continual or the regular is taken away and the abomination of desolation is set up.

So it is 30 days beyond the first time prophecy, which is the 1260.

But the first time prophecy of the 1260 was dealing with the end, when the scattering of, when the persecution of God's people will be finished, then the time of the end is.

Here it starts with the beginning of this period.

When does the 1290 or 1260, you know, when did 1290 begin?

And so from the time that the daily is taken away and the abomination of desolation is set up so it has to do with the beginning, there shall be 1290 days.

So this period has 30 days beyond the 1260.

Now if both prophecies of Jesus end with the time of the end, the first 1 deals with the end, this deals with the beginning of this period, it indicates then that both this prophecy and the previous prophecy are coming to the same end.

So therefore, this means that this prophecy starts 30 days beyond or before the 12th century.

See, if Both of them end with the time of the end.

And 1 of this 30 days longer than this 1 needs to become 30 days earlier.

The 1 deals with the end of the persecution.

This deals with the beginning of the persecution, the beginning of the establishment of what?

And from other parts of the, in chapter 7 and chapter 8 and chapter 11, we find in the book of Daniel that the abomination of desolation is the papacy.

And so let us now see here the abomination of desolation.

The other 1 is the end, the deadly wound of the papacy.

And what I now share is something that our pioneers had no difficulty understanding, but today I think many of us don't fully understand it.

So the 1260 and 1290, they are together, and the point of unification is the end.

But the 1290 deals with the second up of the abomination of desolation.

So again, Jesus gives a time prophecy in the time of the little horn, in terms of the little horn, that indicates when the time of the end will begin.

Now his answer is not given as 1260 days, but 1290 days.

While the 1260 day prophecy brings out that the time of the end is to be at the end of the 1260 year period of persecution, the 1290 day prophecy focuses on the time when the papal abomination began to set up.

So the 1 deals with the end, and then is the time of the end.

This is the beginning, and from the beginning of the setting up, there will be 1290, and ending of the same time.

The time of the end begins in the second dialogue 1, 290 years after the beginning of the setting up of the abomination of desolation.

And I hope that this becomes clear, because unless you see the difference between the 2 dialogues, you get confused.

So the relationship of the 1260 to the 1290.

The association of the 1260, as well as the 1290 prophetic days is to be the time of the end.

And that shows that both periods terminate at the time of the end, which is 1798.

And so if that is true, then you calculate backwards.

If these periods end at the same date, it means that 1290 became 30 years before the beginning of the 1260 years, which would then be in the year 508.

So here then, the 1290 starts with 508, the 1260 with Justinian starts then in the year 538.

Both are the clue to when the time of the end began, when the unsealing, that is the big issue, when is the unsealing, and the unsealing is at the time of the end.

And otherwise you have to go back to the recordings and whatever.

So this is what you have to clearly understand.
