Fresh manna fell to the ground as a gift from God while the Israelites were in the wilderness.

It was fresh from the ovens of heaven, Baked by the master baker himself.

How the Israelites must have anticipated the taste and the smell of each morning's delivery.

Just like the Israelites, you too can now experience the taste and the smell of fresh manna.

Today you'll be listening to Moise Retzera, pastor of the Kalamazoo Filipino Company and Kalamazoo Seventh-Day Adventist Churches.

Let's have a word of prayer here as we study the word of God together.

Dear Heavenly Father, we want to thank you so much for your loving kindness.

Today, We come before you as your children.

And I pray, Father, that your Holy Spirit will strive for us mightily today.

That we might gain some victories in our lives that we need to gain, that we might become more like you in Jesus' name, Amen.

The title of today's study is entitled, A Certain Message for an Uncertain World.

A Certain Message for an Uncertain World.

I'm going to give you guys, right from the beginning, the main text of the message.

By the way, if there's some of you here that this is your first time worshipping with us, we want to welcome you.

I guarantee you we're going to use that Bible.

So if you need a Bible, there's a Bible in the front pew, or you could access it with your technology, but it's good for you to see it with your own eyes, right?

So that that way you are not accepting what a man says, but you're accepting the word of God.

The indwelling presence of Christ in your heart is the manifestation of the gospel.

A wise man once said, what the church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men, and this means men in the sense of mankind, men whom the Holy Ghost can use, men of prayer, men mighty in prayer.

The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but through men.

He does not come on machinery, but on men.

He does not anoint plans, but man, man of prayer.

The church is looking for better methods.

Bounds said this as well, that God is looking for people today who would live with the assurance of a certain message in an uncertain world.

We just saw in the news over maybe a couple weeks how fragile and how uncertain life is.

How many of you here, well I don't want to ask you to raise your hand, but how many of you have ever seen a million dollars in cash?

You know, just when you see a car that's worth $300, 000, boy, it's a head-turner, right?

You're like, man, those rims and those tires are worth my car.

In the process of 2 wars alone accruing almost $4 trillion in interest, the strongest, mightiest force in the world, the United States military, trying to seize a dangerous foe.

But in a matter of a couple weeks, everything turned to chaos.

It just showed to us in the world the uncertainty of life.

Doesn't matter how much money you pour, how much might you have, how much intelligence you have, But the world is uncertain.

But we don't have to go to the Middle East to see how uncertain the world is.

We've seen it over the last couple of a year and a half.

You know, for many of us, last year really feels like 2019.

When somebody says last year, I have to always think in my mind, I have to skip 2020.

But then I have to remember that we're 2021.

We don't know what will happen, what new variants there will be, what new challenges there will be.

But we don't even have to look to a pandemic to see how uncertain the world is.

Tomorrow, there will be a funeral for a police officer that was killed right here in Gillsburg.

A man driving very fast turned around and shot the police officer.

And the man passed away, living behind a family of 3 kids under the age of 15.

You could tell in the air there is this unease in the faces of people because they don't know what will happen next.

Don't worry, my sermon is not all doom and gloom, amen?

We're going to get to the best part, but I want you to understand that things are not going to get better.

The morality of man is going to descend to a point where, like the antediluvians before the flood, every thought of man is going to become continually evil.

The thoughts of man are degrading and degrading, and the love of many, because the world is so uncertain, is growing so cold, right?

You want to hold on to what you can control because you don't know what will happen.

Imagine, my friends, if God removed His angels of protection from this world.

Right now, we are still living under a certain grace.

Where God is still protecting us, but there will come a point in the history of the world before Jesus comes, where the restraining angels of God will pull back.

And the world will see the full force and destruction of following the evil 1.

You know, every Sabbath, every time we preach the Word, it's always good news, amen?

Though we live in a very uncertain world, we have a sure message, amen?

What we need today are not new methods, but renewed hearts.

We need hearts filled with love for God and love for their fellow men.

You might say, oh, pastor, how dare you say that?

You might say, Pastor, well, tell me then, what is this certain message you are so sure about?

Well, I'm only sure about it because the Bible says it.
