Father in heaven, thank you so much for the privilege of coming in your presence.

You said whenever 2 or 3 come together in your name, you are there.

So Father, we praise you for your promise.

We acknowledge that there is nothing we can say or do unless your Holy Spirit works.

So we pray now for your Holy Spirit to come, to open the world, to speak, to touch, to transform.

May it all be focused on you and for your glory in Jesus precious name.

The disciples were given the great commission.

I want you to imagine and just be honest, just be very honest with yourself.

I want you to imagine that Jesus comes to this group, let's say this section, okay, I'm talking to this section and Jesus says I want you to reach Chattanooga.

Do you think that you can reach Chattanooga?

Every house, every human being in Chattanooga?

What if Jesus said, I want you to reach the whole state of Tennessee.

Every city, every town, every village, every person.

What if Jesus said I want you to reach the US?

Every state, every city, every village, every soul, every...

Jesus gave the disciples an impassable task, am I right?

And the Lennonite says in the book of Acts of the Apostles, quote, they knew that they cannot do it.

But Jesus promised them the power of the Holy Spirit.

Because the work is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit It's pretty plain.

I mean cannot be more clear than that is not but it is by my spirit so no I'm not talking about you.

Don't worry about you are perfect Why would the others not you?

You do everything perfect, so I'm not referring to you.

Why would the others still try to do God's work in human power?

Because we talk a lot about it's not in our power, it is by my spirit says the Lord.

Then Why do we keep trying to do it in our power, in our wisdom, in our methods, in our strategies, in our programs?

Why do we keep doing that and have the same results again and again and again?

Jesus told the disciples, go into the world, start from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, to the end of the world, and make, He didn't say make members, he said make disciples.

It's not enough to baptize them, you need to put them to work.

Elenoi says that those that have been truly converted, they are born as visionaries, and they have a passion for saving the lost.

If you don't have a passion, she says, quote, and I'm going to give you the quotation, this Sabbath, if you don't have a passion, she says, you should be concerned for your salvation.

Okay, so, Jesus told them, go and reach the world.

Go from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, reach the world.

The Great Commission, if you look in the Greek Bible, is the whole paragraph.

And in the whole paragraph, in the whole story, Jesus told them a little more than that.

Do not leave, do not leave, do not leave.

Oh Jesus we hate in January 10 days of prayer.

He says until you receive the Holy Spirit.

When you receive the Holy Spirit you shall receive power.

But we somehow blindly don't see the first part, pray.

And the disciples, says Elena Wright in the book of Acts, I'm gonna give you the quotation, they quote word by word from the spirit of prophecy.

I know these paragraphs by memory they Obeyed Jesus command.

You know if you can pray if not you can go that was not a suggestion that was a command In Greek, it's an imperative Do not go that's a command pray It was a command otherwise as they obey Jesus command They got in the upper room and they prayed.

If you see the work around you, if you see the impossibility of reaching the world, then you know the recipe.

For the Holy Spirit because He's not by mind nor by power but by my Spirit.

Pastor they call me, we prayed for a week and nothing happened.

Until you grab him by, you know, like Jacob and say I'm not gonna let you go before you fulfill the promise.

You said, quote, If you who are evil give good gifts to your children, how much more your Father in Heaven will give the Holy Spirit to those who?

02 Filled by God’s Spirit

The work of God in this earth can never be finished until the men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work and unite their efforts with the ministers and church officers.

The work of God on this earth will never be finished until the members unite their efforts with the ministers.

God didn't call Only the ministers to do his work God called everybody in fact those who are born in God's kingdom are born as Missionaries so if you are not a missionary you may have been in the water, but you have never been born again.

Uh-huh, you heard me, if you want me I can repeat it, but I think you heard it very well.

God is calling upon every single church member to serve.

The entire church, every member, working in unity, as missionary agency, will be controlled by the Spirit and bear results.

Another paragraph, and another 1, and another 1.

Every true disciple is born in God's kingdom as a missionary.

He who drinks from the living water becomes a fountain of life.

You know this quotation, this is out of Ages 184, don't you?

Not all can go to missionary foreign lands, but all can be missionaries in the neighborhoods.

The church is God's appointed agency for the salvation of, it was organized for, and his mission is to carry the gospel to the whole.

He who has been truly converted will have a passion to save others, will work for others that are in darkness, Evangelism 355, and so on and so forth.

To nelect this work that God calls you to do is to invite Feebleness decay and spiritual death.

Whoa No wonder he stings in the church sometimes.

I Remember When we moved to Maryland From Kentucky, we pray that God would give us a place where he can be missionaries Not 1 not only have a comfortable place A nice house with a nice yard with a nice car and a nice dog and a nice neighbor We want you to be missionaries.

So we pray Lord, you know our needs but we are not gonna pray for our needs Though I am tempted as usually to pray for my needs Lord I need this and that and that and that and that and my list is pretty long and if my wife would give me her list too, then I have plenty to pray for several hours.

And I said Lord, I'm not gonna pray for my list because what I learned in my life, the more I focus on my needs and the more I pray for my needs, it seems the more needs and problems I have.

And the more depressed I get, and the more busy I get.

But I learned that when I give up my needs and pray for God's honor and for God's work and for others, forgetting self, it seems that God also takes care of my needs.

So in a selfie show I pray more and more for others so God could take care of me.

And so I said, Lord, give us a place where we can reach, Not only going from place to place and do God's work, but reach the neighbors because if you don't reach your neighbor And your family, how can you say that you do God's work?

Illinois says that we are responsible for our neighbors that they will come to us and say, you knew it and you didn't?

And she says that we are the light of the world, we are supposed to be a light into a perishing world.

And then she says, very interesting, that we are the watchmen.

And if we don't give a clear sound to the neighbors their blood is gonna be required from our hands whoa That doesn't sound very nice.

Does it and so I said Lord give us a place where we can reach the neighbors and God gave us a very nice place very comfortable Self-sufficient solar panels on the roof wood stove that would heat the house and heat the water for the showers, so we didn't have electrical bill, We didn't have gas bill, we didn't have water bill, we didn't have sewer bill, we didn't...

All we had was internet bill and that's sometimes it's a curse, it's not a blessing when you open your email and you see 246 emails and you just check them in the morning, at noon there are another, you know, and so all we had was cell phone and internet.

I'm not trying to be a dramatic preacher, but there will be a time when you'll not be able to buy and to sell, agree?

I don't care if you agree, it's gonna happen, Okay.

And in that time, if you don't have a garden, I am asking you, what do you do?

During COVID, when you went to Walmart or whatever store, do you remember the shelves being empty?

I could not believe that in America is like in Romania, you know?

During communism you would go in Romania to the store, it was just the cashier and the store, but empty shelves.

You would go just to have a talk with the cashier because there was nothing to buy, literally nothing.

You would see a long line, like 14, 15, 16 hours line.

Basically, we would take the family and I would wait 3 hours and then my son would wait 3 hours and then my wife and then my other son and we take turns and after 24 hours finally we got in the front We didn't care what they have.

We didn't even ask what they have and we would find out Oh, they brought potatoes.

We would buy it because there was nothing and next day another line.

Oh, they brought onion We didn't care what they brought.

We stayed in the line and get whatever it was because there was nothing else.

If you don't have a garden, what do you do?

You come to me because I have a big garden and 3 freezers?

And so I said, Lord, give me a garden that I can bless my neighbors because I cannot ever reach my neighbors unless I get to know them because Christ method alone alone he first Fed them healed them talked to them listen to them build friendship build trust and then after that he said follow me So I said Lord give me a garden to reach the neighbors, But it was impossible to have a garden.

It was rock, flat rock on the mountain, rock and the bedrock and then a little grass and the little dirt.

You could not drive a stake in the ground because it was so much dirt and then rock and then a little dirt.

So I went to the nursery next to the block there and I said it was bad dirt, it was yellow clay, that's not good for a garden.

I said how much do you charge for a truck of clay?

Heaven, I mean, I needed about 10, 15 trucks.

How many tomatoes do you buy for that money?

And so I went to another place, 650, another place, 620, another place, 620, another.

I was just driving discouraged and praying, Lord, if you give me dirt, I'm going to promise that I'm going to share my garden, 50% of it, not 10, but 50, with the neighbors and make it a mission.

And as I was praying, I see some bales on the field.

I said, I don't need bales if I don't have dirt, because you know you put bales between the rows and paper and hay or straw, so the weeds don't grow.

So I went, it was a Mennonite guy, I said, hey, my name is Pavel.

Do you see them on the field eating grass?

I said, they look like the 7 Goodyear's cows.

And he said, yeah, they eat grass, they are healthy, they are, it's organic cows, organic grass.

I said, that means that you are organic people, you know?

Well, the new ones I don't give but I have 2 3 years old bales that I don't use.

I said you kidding me those gigantic bales?

03 Filled by God’s Spirit

I Don't even know why I put this computer because I don't use it anyway Let's pray together Father in heaven in humbleness we come in your presence and we thank you for Jesus and we thank you for his soon coming and for the undeserved privilege to work with him for precious souls that will be in eternity saved.

Right now, Father, we pray that you will be the 1 to open the world and open the hearts and the minds and bring transformation and eternal results.

We ask your spirit, we ask your presence in Jesus' precious name.

Imagine if Everyone in the Adventist Church, over 22 million people, will get or would get involved.

And everyone would be willing to sacrifice everything, no reservation.

And everyone would make God everything, the priority, the center, everything.

Can you imagine what would happen in our churches?

I need wipers to my glasses and Why don't people?

Sacrifice self when God did sacrifice self?

When we know very clear that unless we die to self, we will never produce any fruit.

Now you don't need this sermon because you are holy people, but the others do need it.

I tell you my opinion, I'm not sure I am right.

Usually I think I am right but my wife says differently.

It's easy to replace love and sacrifice with a set of forms.

You go to church, you keep Sabbath, you know the state of the dead.

Very sad we don't know the state of the living, But anyway, you know the state of the dead, you know the 2300 days and I prophecy you eat broccoli You get involved in this and you sing in the choir and you kiss a bascula and go to camp meeting.

Come on You follow me and we have created our own set of rules and Ellen White says and I do have the quotation That we Confuse dedication With a set of forms The quotation I said it in my words, but I do have it in my presentation that refers to the 10 virgins that I am not Gonna do tonight.

I was planning to but I don't have time but in that presentation if you listen online I give the quotation I give the page where she says that we got to the point that confuse forms with real dedication and Because we do a set of forms.

Okay feel secure And that's the reason when Jesus comes very soon.

He's gonna say I don't know you Because we also confuse forms with relationship and They say Lord We have been going to church.

Did you hear the song, Lord, I want to know you?

And that's the reason they don't trust God.

That's crazy to rather trust self than to trust God.

And people tell me, Pastor, I have been praying for a month and nothing happened.

And I tell them, try to breathe only for a month and then stop and see what happens.

Because prayer is the breath of the soul.

And going forward with this thought, Every time when you start to pray and to seek God and to get closer to Him and to desire to know Him more and to serve Him, things don't get better.

When you want to serve, things get worse.

If you don't get attacked, then you need to wonder if you do something good.

When you get attacked, that's a good sign.

I don't remember anybody among the people of faith in the Bible that was not attacked.

Joseph was put in prison, sold by his own brothers.

Abraham, and whoever you want to name, Paul, Peter, do you think it was easy?

I'm not gonna give the sermon anyway, but I wanna share with you just a little, a little, a little of our history, just about 4 hours, don't worry.

You know, a Bachelor in Construction, Law School, Theology, and a Master in Communication, and a Master in Theology, and a Doctorate in...

And then a business in glass, and then a business in photo, photo lab and Photoshop, very profitable, when I say very, more than people imagine.

And then a business in measurements, surveying, topometry, topography, and then a business in construction, and then a business in musical instruments, and then a business in clothing making, a sewing factory.

That we started from 0 and we got to the degree that when the salary was in Romanian money 1, 600 to 2, 000 a month, we were making 70, 000 a day.

Not 1, 000 or 2, 000 a month, but 70, 000 a day.

Having a plane that would pick me up every Thursday going to Bucharest, and then 2, 3 18-wheelers driving, filled with cloth, going to our factory, and then selling in Romania, in Germany, in Belgium, and so on and so forth.

I had a contract for 1000000 and a half with Germany, a contract.

And that was Deutsche Mark in that time, there was no euros in that time.

So I knew the prime minister, I knew the mayor of the city, I knew the chief of police, everybody knew me, everybody, you have money, you have connections, you have power, you follow me?

And we had to give up all of that when God called us.

And I remember, I'm gonna jump 10 years forward, I remember a classmate in Andrews said to me, I was hungry, I was hungry, I didn't eat for 5 days.

You may not know what it means not to eat for 5 days, but for me, that's the end of the world.

And I would go to a corner in snow, my shoes were broken, I was wet and frozen, and Mr.

Trickett was an old man that would come with a Ford big van, and he would bring from grocery stores expired cans.

And I would stay in line in snow to get 4 green beans cans.

And I would go home and eat them, and I was like, I'm so hungry.

After 5 days, finally, I got some green beans.

And now going back, when you have so much money, and the conference calls you and says, we think we want you to be in ministry, and my wife and I talk and say, 70, 000 a day, 1, 600 a month, what should we do?

That night before the conference called us, I got another contract with Germany and 1 with Holland.

And so 3 more millions a month would come And we said what should we do and I remember when my father told me regardless how much money you have you still have 1 stomach He get a point You cannot feel 2 stomachs because you have only 1.

And he said, God will always fill that stomach.
