By the end of the famine, the Egyptians had sold all their land, their possessions, and even their children to the king of Egypt, setting the stage for a permanent new societal order in ancient Egypt. What lessons and parallels does this apocalyptic Bible story hold for the world today? Are we about to repeat this ancient history in today’s modern world?
