An Offer God Cannot Refuse

After these things, there was a feast of the Jews and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Now, there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market, a pool which is called in the Hebrew tongue, Bethesda, having 5 porches.

In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk.

A blind halt withered waiting for the moving of the water.

For an angel went down at the certain season into the pool and trouble the water.

Whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in, was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there which had an infirmity 30 and 80 years.

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew he had been now a long time in that case.

He said unto him, will thou be made whole?

The impotent man answered, sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool but while I'm coming another step is down before me.

Jesus said unto him, rise, take up thy bed and walk And immediately the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked and on the same day was the Sabbath.

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured.

It is not, it is the Sabbath day, it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, take up thy bed and walk.

Then asked they him, what man is that which said unto thee, take up thy bed and walk.

And he that was healed, wist not who it was, for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.

Afterward, Jesus findeth him in the temple and said unto him, behold, thou art made whole.

When you say God is good, when you say all the time, are you saying that because you are a personal witness to the goodness of God in your lives?

And his truth endureth to all generations.

I often say, truth will endure as long as there's God.

Error, false doctrines, lies, false teachings will 1 day come to an end.

Along with those who persist in living their lives by error.

But truth will endure to all generations and I thank God for truth.

When Jesus prayed to his father in John 17 in verse 17, he said, sanctify them through thy truth.

Only the truth of God can sanctify your life.

And Jesus's prayer was to the father, sanctify them through thy truth.

We are sanctified through the word of God and Christ calls himself the truth and the word.

Thank you very much for coming to listen to God's word.

I extend that welcome to those of you connecting via the internet.

However, you're doing that, God is pleased and I pray that the god of heaven and earth, the god whom Melchizedek described as the possessor of heaven and earth will bless your life right now In a very very personal and specific way.

I thank god for the honor of speaking for him and I will try in so far as I can to present the truth as simply as I possibly can.

Is there anyone with us tonight who is not a Seventh-day Adventist?

I really mean that sincerely and my lovely sister, sister Mary, God bless you.

Sister Wilson, thank you very much for coming.

And God use you to make you a blessing to somebody else.

Thank you very much for coming brother story.

God bless you so much that everywhere you turn, you see the evidence of God in your life.

And my lovely sister Mary for your constant presence.

May the Lord wrap his arm around you and keep you in his bosom until he comes to place you in his kingdom.

Wherever you are, the long arm of God's goodness can reach you and I pray that God will bless you and that you will always identify that blessing not only with God first but certainly with your fellowship with us.
