Hundreds of strange unidentified flying objects have been cataloged from eyewitnesses around the world.

Mysterious lights in the heavens, unearthly forms which move at dizzying speeds.

These are now known to be signs of an imminent invasion from outer space.

I'll be back in a moment with the amazing facts.

Hello, this is Joe Cruz and the Amazing Facts broadcast, Facts Which Affect You.

Night after night the great telescopes have been trained upon the starry heavens.

There is a deep and hidden mystery somehow connected with the stars and the sky.

At this very moment, out at Mount Palomar in California, the great 200-inch telescope is trained on the stars while the world's greatest astronomers anxiously tabulate the results of their sky study.

Every night something new and different is discovered.

And do you know that every night somewhere in this world men see unearthly objects with supernatural lights whisked through the skies, swift as a lightning and as silent as a grave?

This is the day of amazing things for the heavens, friends.

Man-made satellites whirl in their orbits.

Mars and most of the other planets have yielded their secrets to our circling space probes.

My friends, science fiction has become truth in these days of the twentieth century.

The fact that many of these unearthly lights and many of these so-called flying saucers have never been explained is causing thinking men and women everywhere to ask this question.

Could it be that these things come from some other planet?

That somebody from outer space is responsible?

Could it be that someone from outer space will 1 day come to this world?

And if so, how will their arrival affect us on this planet?

Will they be the proverbial little green men that say to earth men, take us to your leader?

Or will they be men with wires running from them, or like machines?

Or will they be an order of being far superior to anything we have on this earth?

Strange as it may seem, though men and women, fearing and full of worry, are rushing to and fro, hither and yon, seeking the answers to these questions, and though our leaders seem to know nothing about it, the answer has already been given.

Listen, 1 of these nights a bright dazzling light will appear in the sky, the likes of which men have never seen or even imagined.

The atmospheric heavens will split wide open and roll back like a window shade.

And there riding upon a cloud visible to all, coming in majesty and brightness and glory unparalleled, will be a man from outer space.

I read about it in Revelation 6, 14, And the heavens departed as a scroll, when it is rolled together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And then again, Revelation 14, 14, I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud 1 sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

O friends, that will be the night when all men everywhere will face God.

For some it will be the saddest moment and the most tragic moment of all time.

For others, of course, it will be the moment of the greatest joy and happiness.

You know, it always seems a little bit incredible to me that people know so little about this man coming from outer space when the Bible is so full of information on this subject.

And that information is so plain pointed and clear.

Jesus Himself gave some very definite words on the matter in John 14.

Here is what He said, and by the way He was talking to His disciples who were very, very perplexed.

In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you.

I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also." Now, friends, according to this scripture, Jesus gave His own word of honor that there would be a great space trip 1 day all the way from heaven to earth and then back again.

Do you know that Jesus even testified under oath that He was coming from outer space back to this earth?

Do you remember the story of how in the last hours of His life here upon this earth Jesus went to the garden with His disciples to pray?

And while He was there this murderous throng came where their staves and swords had taken Him, and 1 of his own inner circle, Judas, betrayed him.

Do you remember how they led him away to that mockery of a trial?

And according to the record, while he was standing before the leaders of the Jewish church, the high priest wanted to get some information and be sure that it would be correct.

He had heard this and that and wondered what was really true, so He put him under oath and asked him some questions.

And I call you to witness that under oath Jesus said the following, Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said, Nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26, verse 64.

Do you know that in the New Testament alone, in addition to these 2 wonderful statements of the Lord, there are 260 additional prophecies regarding the Lord's return from outer space.

Oh, I say, lift up the trumpet and loud let it ring, Jesus is coming again.

Cheer up, ye pilgrims, be joyful in saying, Jesus is coming again.

The prophecies from the New Testament alone give us proof positive of that.

Yes, He is coming back, all right, no question about that.

Here is where so many opinions begin to diverge, and 1 goes this way and 1 goes that until finally there are so many, many different beliefs.

I am happy to tell you that God sent 2 angels all the way from heaven to give a little discouraged church this very information.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up.

Now notice, while he was telling them some very important and valuable things that had to do with his kingdom, all of a sudden he appeared to be getting taller.

They looked at 1 another, and then at him, and then they noticed that his feet were leaving the ground.

Even Peter, who always had something to say, could think of nothing.

And Jesus went up, up, up, higher and higher, until a cloud received him out of their sight.

And then they noticed 2 men standing there by the side in white apparel, angels no doubt.

And these angels said to them, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?

This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner, as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Acts 1.11 Now this is a very important passage of Scripture, friends.

This same Jesus shall so come, it says, in like manner." Well, how did he go away?

First of all, he went up into a cloud, didn't he?

The Scripture says a cloud received him out of their sight.

And then on the authority of the word of 2 angels, I can tell you He is coming back in a cloud.

In fact, friends, I am happy to tell you that the Scripture bears this out in other verses.

Revelation 14, 14, and we read it a moment ago, I looked, and, behold, a white cloud, and upon the cloud 1 sat like unto the Son of Man.

And Revelation 1, 7, Behold, he cometh with clouds.

When that great man, Jesus, comes from outer space, He will come with clouds.

The Bible gives us proof positive for that.

All right, secondly, when He went away, He was visible.

It says they were looking at him and watching him steadfastly, so when he comes back again he will be visible.

Please, please friends, never let anybody ever tell you different.

In Revelation 1, 7, Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him.

You can tell here how plain and positive the Good Book is.

Now perhaps you say, Now wait a minute, I just don't care anything at all about seeing him.

My friend, even though you may be an infidel, you will see Him.

You may deny the existence of God, but just the same you will see Him.

You won't tune in on the radio and see it on television or pick up the paper and discover Christ has come.

No, indeed, when He comes you will not need anybody to tell you because you will see it.

But the Lord warned us that there would be false Christ and false prophets to arise, many would be deceived.

Man from Space, Pt. 2

The largest hailstones to ever fall on the earth weighed 4 and a fourth pounds and brought utter destruction to a section of southern Siberia.

But this is child's play compared to a hailstorm of the future which will batter down skyscrapers.

I'll be back in a moment to talk about hailstones weighing 57 pounds.

Hello, this is Joe Cruz and the Amazing Facts Broadcast, facts which affect you.

In our last broadcast, we introduced the fascinating subject of the Second Coming of Jesus.

We found some of the tremendous spectacular things that will take place in nature when Christ appears.

Today we want to follow this subject further and find out what will actually happen to the earth at that time.

The scriptures have a very definite comment in several places, and I want to read now from Revelation 16 verse 18, And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and there was a great earthquake, such as was not, since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

So when Christ returns, there will be this terrible devastating earthquake, friends.

Great mountain chains will simply turn and disappear and be flattened out.

Islands will sink down into the depths of the ocean.

Never before has the earth seen such an earthquake as that 1 will be.

The earth will be literally torn to pieces.

And after the earthquake will be a terrible hailstorm with every stone, according to the Bible, weighing the weight of a talent.

Now a talent weighs from 52 to 57 pounds and you try to imagine that for a moment.

Hailstones as large as bushel baskets falling everywhere.

Jeremiah 4.26 tells us, I beheld and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

Why, the beautiful orchards, trees, gardens, shrubbery, all the cities broken down, Paris goes down, London is no more, New York is flattened.

The cities will be destroyed and everything in the earth with it.

Isaiah 24 gives this graphic picture of destruction.

Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down.

The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled.

Then in verse 19, The earth is utterly broken down, and moved exceedingly.

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage.

So according to the scripture, when that man from outer space, the Lord of all, comes back to this earth, the earth will be torn to pieces in a total destruction.

Now perhaps you are wondering about the people.

If that is what is going to happen to the earth, what will happen to the inhabitants of the earth?

Let's read about it in 1 Thessalonians 4, 16 and 17, For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

So as stated in the scriptures, when the Lord comes back in the clouds, the dead in Christ, the good people, the saints, are going to be raised first, and then they will be changed.

1 Corinthians 15, 51 says specifically that our mortal bodies will take on immortality.

That will be conferred on the redeemed only at the second coming of Jesus.

Our bodies will be made over just like the body of Jesus after His resurrection.

And after this event, those who remain and are alive shall be caught up into the cloud, and the cloud will return to heaven.

Now notice the text says, To meet the Lord in the air.

And so if anyone says to you that Christ is in Los Angeles, or He is here or there, or in some secret place, remember that when He returns a second time, He will not touch this earth at all.

His feet will not come down to the earth.

He will appear in the clouds and remain in the air, and we will be caught up in the air to meet him.

But now let's talk a moment about that interstellar flight.

There is so much talk about it today, and there seems to be a remote possibility, of course, that men will be able to achieve it sometime in the distant future.

Supposing it were possible, would interstellar flight be of any help to this generation at all?

Supposing it did exist, We'd have to come to the place where we could travel 6, 000 miles a second, and that's 21, 600, 000, 000 miles an hour.

That's how fast we'd have to travel for it to even exist.

If it became a possibility to travel that fast safely, it would still take 250 years to travel to the nearest planetary system, and so you see 3 or 4 generations would die on the trip.

How would that help this generation, friends?

That's why we are looking forward to the appearance of that man from outer space who holds in his hands the key of death.

Remember that passage in Revelation 118, I am he that liveth and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of death.

And he also says, Behold, I come quickly.

Oh, how grateful we should be that he is coming in just a little while from now, friends, and that he will come to do away with the last great enemy of all of us.

The righteous dead are going to be raised and will be caught up to meet Jesus in the cloud.

The righteous living are then caught up in the cloud too and to return to heaven with the resurrected ones.

Let's read about that in 2 Thessalonians 2, verse 8, And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.

It's not hard to believe really when you analyze it.

If you recall at the tomb of Christ, 1 angel came there and rolled back that stone, and his brightness was so staggering that those soldiers simply fell down like dead men.

According to the scriptures, all the angels in heaven will come with Jesus when He returns.

Combining their brightness with His will be just too much, and the wicked will die immediately, as if they had been struck down by a bolt of lightning, or as if some live wire fell upon them.

And they'll just lay here where they fell.

Jeremiah 25, 33 says, And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from 1 end of the earth, even unto the other end of the earth.

They shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried, they shall be dung upon the ground.

You know, friends, that used to worry me when I was a youngster.

I thought, why didn't somebody come and bury those people?

But listen, there was no 1 left to do it.

The righteous are all in heaven, they have been caught up to meet Jesus, the wicked are all dead at this time, so the bodies are simply scattered everywhere.

You might say, wait a minute, I'm getting a little mixed up.

I thought the Second Coming of Christ was secret.

I've heard it again and again spoken of as a secret rapture.

Well, friends, you may have heard that, but the second coming of Jesus is anything but secret.

Over and over the Scriptures emphasize the fact that it will be noisy.

Matthew 24, 31 says that He will come with a great sound of a trumpet, and I am sure you recognize there is nothing secret about a blowing of a trumpet.

I had 2 little boys that learned to blow trumpets, and I found out 1 thing about them.

They are not quiet and they are not silent.

Psalms 50, verses 3 to 5 says, Our God shall come and shall not keep silence.

In 1 Thessalonians 4, 16 we read that He will come with a shout.

Nothing secret about that at all, friends.

And then it says, With the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God.

Titus 2.13 speaks of the glorious appearing of our Lord.

Oh, yes, He will be there in person, and you will see Him, just the opposite of secret.

Let me read another text now in Matthew 24, 27, As the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Listen, the secret rapture is not in the Bible at all.

Another fact of His coming that we mentioned a moment ago is that all the angels will be with Him.

Matthew 24, 31 says, He shall send His angels with the great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the 4 winds, from 1 end of the heaven to the other.

Now people wonder what the angels will come for.

Well, for 1 thing, they have watched this whole plan of salvation unfold.

The scriptures teach in 1 Corinthians 4 and 9 that we are a spectacle to other worlds and angels.

They look down and see the greatest TV screen ever known, that's our world spread out here before them, and they've watched the progress of sin.

They see the great controversy, Christ's side and the devil's side, and how it's all working out and the final end of it.

Man from Space, Pt. 3

The first real interplanetary space journey will make contact with an inhabited world.

In a moment, you'll hear the amazing facts about the approaching rendezvous in space and the preparations being made for the blast off.

Hello this is Joe Cruzan, the Amazing Facts Broadcast.

Many years ago in ancient Babylon there was a very reckless king named Belshazzar.

He had prestige and honor, a man of renown.

1 day he called in a thousand of his high government officials and said, Let's have a feast.

He felt so secure he wanted to have a feast to boast, if you please, of his great achievements.

And so they gathered together, and in defiance of God, they drank from the golden vessels that they had stolen from God's temple in Jerusalem.

Everything was wonderful, so they thought.

After all, it seemed that they were forever secure in that great city that had been made into a fortress.

My friends, the walls of that great city were 200 feet high and 75 feet wide.

Chariots could race along the top of the walls of Babylon.

There was food, enough food stored up to last a million people 10 to 20 years.

At the feast, of course, they were very relaxed.

Nobody could touch them, but they had forgotten, as too many people today have forgotten, that there is a God in heaven who rules over all.

And suddenly, right in the midst of their revelry, the bloodless hand of God came from nowhere apparently, and began to write on the wall.

Letters of fire were traced there, and these were the words, Many, many tickled your farsen, and translated it means, Thou art weighed in the balance, and found wanting.

Or we would say today, You failed, this is the end.

And that very night the glory of Babylon disappeared, crumbled away, an enemy came in, and took over the kingdom.

Now today you and I are witnessing the latest attempt of man to journey into space entirely on his own, forgetting all about God and His interest and His domain.

Could it be that these flaming satellites in the sky, instead of honoring the men who invented them, Could it be that they are the handwriting of God in the sky?

A solemn warning to men and women and to nations all over the world to wake up, that their cup of iniquity is almost full?

Many scientists have thought this thing through very reverently, realizing that they are tampering with something that belongs to a higher power.

And many scientists reverently believe today that if the Christian would really tune his ears and heart, instead of hearing the sounds of the satellites in space and the vehicles in space, he would hear an entirely different message, many, many tickle you farson, thou art weighed in the balances, and found wanting.

Friends, today on the authority of the Bible, our God is about to intervene.

The signs of the scripture have almost been fulfilled.

About 97 or 98 percent of the Bible has probably been already completely fulfilled before our eyes.

I read something graphic here in Luke 21 beginning with verse 25, "...and there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth the stress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
