Description
At the end of the presentation, the learner will be able to:
Identify effective ways to thoroughly assess patients’ mental health and discuss how important this can be in helping them to reverse lifestyle diseases.
Identify the need for whole person care, particularly spiritual care, to treat patients instead of prescribing medications.
Discuss common negative beliefs of patients, primarily developed in childhood, that may lead to health decline.
Illustrate how to minister to patients through prayer, church activities, small groups, and Bible studies.
