It's a pleasure for me to be able to share with you a few moments here.

I am so very sorry for what has befallen our scheduled speaker, But I'm glad that I have an opportunity to talk with you just a little bit about things that I love with all of my heart.

We want to welcome all of you that are here from Youth Rush, from Souls West, from GLOW, and the pastors and presenters and others who are here.

We just are so grateful to you for being here at the first annual iShare conference.

It is our hope and our prayer that this will be an annual event that God is gonna use to equip young men and women, as well as older men and women, to be used of God to finish God's work today.

I like, I share, I seek to help advance revival and evangelism.

And I'm hoping that the outcome of our conference and the outcome of this weekend will be that we as individuals will embrace that calling that God has given to us personally and individually and we'll be able to go into our churches, into our schools, and to go into our homes and to be used of God to help finish his work today.

If you have your program, I'd like for you to turn to the back page that has the names of the executive committee.

This is the group of young adults that have planned this program together and if you are 1 of those who are listed here would you please stand right now those of you who are listed in the back here please stand and I'd like for everyone to give them a hand and applause and thank them for the excellent job that they've done in putting this program together.

Did you notice that I love the creativity of our group.

I invite you to open your Bibles to the text and the chapter that we will be using, we'll be looking at this morning.

Acts chapter 3 and starting with verse 1.

If you have it, could you please say amen.

That was pretty weak, I know you can do better.

All right, now I know that you're alive and well and you're taking oxygen in, that's good.

Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour, about 03:00 in the afternoon.

And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple.

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms and fixing his eyes on him with John, Peter said, look at us.

So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

Then Peter said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I give you.

Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.' And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up.

And immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

So he leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them, walking, leaping and praising God.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God.

Then they knew that it was the 1, that it was he who said begging alms at the beautiful gate of the temple.

And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Verse 11, Now, as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them to the porch, which is called Solomon's, greatly amazed.

So when Peter saw it, He responded to the people, men of Israel, why do you marvel at this?

Or why look so intently at us as though by our own power or godliness, we had made this man walk.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, The God of our fathers glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

But you denied the Holy 1 and the just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you and killed the prince of life whom God raised from the dead of which we are witnesses.

And his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong whom you see and know.

Yes, the faith which comes through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers, but those things which God foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that the Christ would suffer, he has thus fulfilled.

Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

For Moses truly said to the fathers, quote, the Lord, your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren.

Him you shall hear in all things whatsoever he says to you.

And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people." End quote.

Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.

You are sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, "'saying to Abraham, "'And in your seed, "'all the families of the earth shall be blessed, ' "'referring to Jesus.

"'To you first, God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to bless you in turning away every 1 of you from your iniquities.

Such as I give, silver and gold, they didn't have.

But what they had, They gave to the lame man.

There may not be too many of you that are wealthy, even though you're excellent canvassers.

Because when you go to your homes and schools and go back, you will share that which you have.

1 of the reasons for iShare is to equip you so that you might have more, but what do you have?

Well, let's take a look at this a little bit, because I think you have most of the things, if not all of the things that Peter and John had.

Well, Peter and John, they had their presence.

They were present physically in the temple.

That is something that you have like John and Peter had.

Now you may not think that your presence is very important, but I'm here to tell you, your presence really matters.

I've done this year thus far 5 evangelistic campaigns.

In some of the campaigns, there's a lot of people.

In other of the campaigns, there's a lot of angels filling up the empty chairs.

But I want to tell you, when young people are in my meetings, my, I tell you, I just kind of lift it up.

And so you can imagine where I'm at with all of you here, huh?

And your presence, your presence matters.

Indeed, your presence is a present to me.

Your presence is a present to, maybe there are some family members who you may not have seen for a while.

As a matter of fact, there may be even some estrangement in your family.

Maybe they would welcome a call from a younger member of the family.

Maybe You may have some grandparents or great-grandparents that are in a rest home or in a convalescent hospital.

Your presence will bring them a smile and lift up their spirits.

Your presence is a present to them and to many others.

Peter and John were present in the temple.

Your presence In the church is vital, is important, young people.

If I'm not doing evangelistic meetings, I'm preaching in different churches, English churches, Spanish churches, Filipino churches, Chinese church, African-American churches, et cetera.

Some of our churches don't have very many young people.

Your presence is important to your church, to your local church.

Oh, I know there may not be a lot of young people there.

You know, we like to be together with other young people.
