We have just tons and tons and tons of loads of topics there, and this topic that we're in is called Jesus and Liberty.

We're in episode 11, and we're looking at the final tyranny.

So we've been looking at like nice Jesus principles, and now towards the latter half, we're kind of going into, you know, we talked about persecution and slavery, and now we're in tyranny, and some of these abuses of religious liberty that we see we are currently living in.

So we're gonna read from Revelation chapter 13, but as we always do before reading scripture, we wanna have a word of prayer together.

Our gracious Father in heaven, we thank you for your word, that it speaks to us about the good things and about the challenging things in life.

And as we study today, we ask for the presence of your spirit to be with us.

Then I saw another beast coming out of the earth, and he had 2 horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed.

He performs great signs so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men.

And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.

He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast.

The image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed." We are in last day events again.

We at Inverse, we kind of focus on Daniel 7 or Revelation 13 or Revelation 14 and whatnot.

Hopefully it hasn't produced fatigue in you.

For those of you who have been watching our show for a while now, we want to say thank you for your loyalty, and we want to just say thumbs up to you wherever you may be, all around the world.

But there are reoccurring themes that we have here in Inverse, and we do realize that sometimes it can be a little bit of overkill.

Well, there's a little bit of an element that there is a, maybe war is too strong of a word, but there is a polemic on the definition of what is relevant out there today.

And we always wanna be relevant as all content, all video should be.

But people are redefining as relevant as what is needed or what is entertaining, what is in vogue at the moment, at the time.

But when it comes to Bible truth, there is the reality of the last days.

This is what we believe to be very important, to be relevant to today.

I kind of see it as, you know, there's a tornado that's coming that's far in the distance, and you know, there's a kid who's playing on the playground and you're like, hey kid, there's a tornado coming, hey we need to come back and come inside.

And we're like, no, this is not relevant to me.

And so they may be very relevant to the immediate circumstances, but there is a larger perspective that if no one's calling out that tornado, that people who see it should call that out.

And this is where we get into prophecies, this is where we get into the 3 angels' messages, this is what we believe we're called to do in a certain sense.

But we do realize that we may sometimes hit these themes a little too often.

And if that's the case, let us know on our social media channels.

Oh, I was just going to help you justify the fact that we're in Revelation 13 again.

And that is that the Bible is not just like, oh, it's all back then.

Everything in the Bible is part of history and part of God's work in time.

And so many of the themes and topics we have been studying, they connect to the last days because it is a continuous story of God's work in this world.

And things from 4000 years ago or 6000 years ago, they connect to today.

In fact, things from the very beginning connect to the things in the very end.

And this is why we're often at, you know, for 1 or 2 episodes in our various discussions, we end up also in the book of Revelation.

So I wanna say like, I think it's very much relevant because it connects to the time that we are living in today.

Well, we have Jonathan's endorsement and that's all we need.

I was gonna give my endorsement, but you know what?

All right, let's get into the text here on Revelation 13.

Sikhu, connect religious liberty, connect Jesus and liberty with Revelation 13.

Well, setting up Revelation 13, as I think we should, right, in case someone is hearing this for the very first time, is that in Revelation 13, as was mentioned in the previous episode, there are prophecies in the book of Daniel that connect to the prophecies in the book of Revelation.

I think we've done- And just to really interrupt, if you missed that episode, you can go to hopetv.org slash inverse and watch that episode, especially, it was a very good episode on slavery, and then it connects to this 1.

So anyway, sorry to interrupt, just wanted to put that plug in there shamelessly.

Awesome, yeah, so building from that, we have, we looked at, in the previous episode, we looked, no, 2 episodes ago.

Yeah, so they need to go 2 episodes back.

But 2 episodes ago, we talked about that there's this, in Daniel chapter 7, there is, out of a political power, out of Rome comes this religious, political, religio power, religious power that comes into play.

And then we see elements that come out of Daniel chapter 7 being repeated in Revelation 13, the beginning of Revelation 13, which we did not read.

You have this beast that comes out of the sea, which you just read it and there are elements that just like directly point back to the book of Daniel.

And so you've got the same power that was introduced in the book of Daniel appearing again here in Revelation.

The Bible does this thing where it's like a repeat and enlarge, you'll repeat something that has said before and then it comes and it brings it out to the fore and it zooms in and like.

Insight into the story, which is a very interesting way.

Daniel and Revelation are very, you know, sibling books to each other.

Revelation picks up where Daniel kind of left off.

There's other prophetic books and they kind of deal with, you know, Israel and of old and the historical setting, but Daniel and Revelation.

And then Daniel and Revelation deal with apocalyptic, really with last day events and kind of more universal in nature.

Although they're all can be applied to us, but there is the 2 categories there.

And so it connects to now the text that we read is that we see this beast that comes up out of the earth.

So this is after, and from previous episode that papal Rome has held sway and has had power.

At the end of that, you have this new power that is coming out of the earth, it says not out of the sea, as the papal power came, which seas representing a lot of people.

So this new beast power that is coming up is coming out of the land.

So it's from a different setting than the Roman Empire.

So you have the old world where there's Asia, Europe, Africa, and then there's the new world with the Americas.

Just the other day, I was just, this is parenthetical, just thinking the other day, man, the Americas was nearly uninhabited before the natives came, right, because they overcame over to the Bering Strait also, but there were like, there was no 1 on this continent.
