Thank you for taking the time to come out here and to enjoy a free meal and to enjoy Bible studies.

We continue our restoration series, God's Healing Message.

And today we have an exciting topic entitled God's Covenant of Love.

And it's gonna be a continuation of kind of where we left off, but if this is your first time, that's okay, because even though these presentations kind of go in an order, they all stand alone and independent, so you won't miss out on anything if it's your first time here today, amen?

So I'm glad to see all the new faces out there.

Let's begin with a word of prayer, and then we'll begin with our presentation this afternoon.

Father in heaven, thank you for the chance that we have to come, to study, to think on these things, and we just invite your Holy Spirit to be with us as we engage in this hour.

We ask that you would speak to us individually and personally, and I pray for all of those that are here that are especially students, that you would bless them tenfold in their studies, that you would bless their minds with retention, that you would strengthen them as they prepare for step and exams and upcoming quizzes.

As they set apart this time to spend with you, bless them, Lord, exponentially more as if they had more time in their day.

Bless them to this end, and bless us as we study now, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.

So today's presentation, God's covenant of love.

And I wanna begin by introducing a new idea that we haven't talked about yet in our presentation.

It's a particular passage in the book of Revelation.

Last night we talked about the second coming of Jesus.

We saw the promise in the Bible that Jesus came, he lived, he died, he rose again, and he ascended to heaven, but he didn't just go there for no reason.

He went there to prepare a place for you, to prepare a place for me, and he promised that if he went to prepare a place for us, he would come again 1 day.

That he himself physically would return to take you to be with him where he is.

And we talked about that blessed hope last night, that promise of his coming and of his return.

Now the book of Revelation has an important passage that goes hand in hand with the teaching and the biblical teaching of the second coming of Jesus.

In Revelation chapter 14, verses 6 through 13, We're not gonna read it right now.

But you will find in the book of Revelation a passage known as the 3 angels' messages.

And again, forgive me, I will point at the screen often, but I do realize that it's very hard to read.

So if you can't read it, you can ask me for my slides afterwards and I'll give them to you.

But it's muscle memory, it's gonna happen.

My hand will keep pointing there, so if you're wondering what I'm pointing at, it's that screen that does have slides, you just can't see them, only I can see them.

If you come at night though, you can see it perfect.

So if you come tonight at 7, it'll look beautiful.

All right, so Revelation chapter 14, 6 through 13, you have the 3 angels' messages in the book of Revelation.

These 3 angels that each have a distinct and separate message that they declare to earth.

But it's the end of their message that I wanna focus on today.

What is accomplished by the preaching of these 3 angels in the book of Revelation?

Revelation chapter 14, beginning in verse 14.

This is the end of the 3 angels' messages.

It says, then I looked and behold, a white cloud.

And on the cloud sat 1 like the Son of Man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, thrust in your sickle and reap, for the time has come for you to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Now, Revelation, like other prophecies that we've already looked at in this seminar, is written in this symbolic language, and it's using the language of a farm, the language of agriculture.

It's describing how there's fruit growing on this earth and there's a farmer, there's a harvester who has a sickle who 1 day comes on the clouds because the harvest is ripe.

It's like 1 of the worst experiences in the world.

Because a yellow banana always tastes like a yellow banana, right?

So you don't pick fruit before it's ripe because it's not good.

The farmer in the book of Revelation, he doesn't come until the fruit is what?

Now, what is this symbolic language talking about?

Obviously, it's not talking about an actual heavenly farmer coming to still of our fruit, amen?

Like there's something more going on in the passage here.

This is where we let the Bible interpret itself.

Instead of trying to read into the text what it means, we can just let the Bible in another passage explain the symbols in this passage.

So here we see that there's a harvest, this harvest that's gonna happen 1 day from someone who's coming on the clouds.

We can go to Matthew chapter 13 in verse 39 to learn about this harvest.

The Bible tells us that the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels.

So we know that this harvest is actually describing the end of the world.

That in Revelation chapter 14, when we see this individual coming on the clouds down to earth to reap the fruit of the earth, this represents what we talked about last night.

The second coming of Jesus who's coming on the clouds to take his people to be with him forever.

That this is what this prophecy is pointing to.

And we've already talked about this last night, but the reason why we're bringing it up again today is because this is the culmination of the 3 angels' messages.

This is the result of the 3 angels' messages.

How will the world be ready for Jesus to come?

It's the 3 angels' messages that prepare the way.

The work of those 3 angels' messages are to do a specific work to prepare the people of earth for Christ to return.

So in our seminar, we're gonna start shifting into these 3 angels' messages, because what we're gonna see is that they are designed to bring spiritual healing to us.

They are designed to bring a spiritual healing and a conversion that otherwise from their teaching we could not fully have.

So we're gonna start with our first angel today.

The Bible says, then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation, tribe, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice.

So here we see the first angel, and he's flying, he's soaring through the midst of heaven, and he's holding onto something.

The Bible called it the everlasting gospel.

Now we talked about the gospel the other day.

That's the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

That's the promise of salvation through Jesus, the Lamb of God, who promised to come and take away the sins of this world.

So that's what he has to declare to the earth.

We know what he has and we know what it is, but notice what he says in the very next verse.

That angel with the gospel, his proclamation is, fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come.

Whoa, pause right there, pause right there.

That's good news, But then he says, by the way, fear and judgment's coming.

Does that sound like good news or bad news?

That sounds like a contradiction, doesn't it?
