An Equal and Opposite Reaction

Our subject for this afternoon, an equal and opposite reaction.

Before I get into that, Let me congratulate those who came for counseling this morning.

The congratulation is based on the fact you came, what are the 2 words I'm about to say?

Now those of you scheduled for tomorrow, come on time.

God is a God who believes in keeping time.

As much as I rejoice this morning for those who kept time I want to rejoice tomorrow those of you who've signed up come on time say amen it was a little weak but I'll take it before I get into the message remember or let me turn this off I think it's still on I was checking some things in the Bible and online.

Favor number 2, while I'm speaking pray for me and say Lord put your words in that man's mouth Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 9 Then the Lord put forth his hand and touched my mouth and the Lord said unto me behold I have put my words in thy mouth and God knows as surely as he lives I desire to speak God's words from time to time say that prayer and God will answer you.

Isaiah 118 come now let us do what reason together saith the Lord.

I come for help because without you, I'm helpless.

The only power I have is the power to sin.

I need the power to deliver truth because truth is divine and I am not.

Father, Jesus said Satan is the father of lies which means the power of error, the power of false doctrine is the power of Satan.

And no human being can break away from it unless divine power is applied.

I'm not asking for a place in your kingdom.

That those in the darkness of error might come to the light.

That those in the prison of error might be set free.

Help me to do this day God for your glory and deliver someone tonight.

In Jesus name I pray let God's people say amen and amen.

Matthew 5 we'll read verse 43 of Matthew 5.

It is, oh thank you very much for allowing me to get up on time.

Students, I am praying for god to bless you for giving your time to him.

As long as you do, all you can do with the time you have, god will bless your efforts.

Jesus said, he have heard that it hath been said, thou shall love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy.

If Jesus said it, the father says it, the holy ghost says it, all the angels say it, because the heavenly family cooperate.

If Jesus says, love your enemies, is that a doctrine?

Now, if someone says, hate your enemy, what is that?

Now, who is the father of false teaching?

Our subject, an equal and opposite reaction.

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple and saith unto him, cast thyself down, for it is written He shall give his angels charge concerning thee and in their hands they shall bathe thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Again it is written, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Again the devil takes them up into a exceeding high mountain and shows him what?

All the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them and saith unto him what?

All these things will I give thee if what?

Jesus saith unto him, get thee hence hidden for it is written, read with me now, thou shall worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.

Now Jesus says we should worship, the devil says worship, you must answer me with confidence.

Jesus said worship, the devil said worship.

For every action there's an equal and opposite reaction Let's go to John 10.

The thief cometh not, but for the steel to kill and to destroy.

Now, Jesus comes to give, the devil comes to give.

For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.

You Can Trust God

My sister, God bless you for the work you're doing.

May the Holy Spirit remind me to speak slowly so that my sister's work is not too difficult.

And thank you for letting me get up on time.

I need your wisdom as promised in James chapter 1 verse 5.

If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God.

I am asking God give me wisdom father not for my sake that I might speak the truth that you might be glorified and your people blessed in Jesus name I pray amen now listen to the question Listen microscopically.

Because the heart and soul, the foundation stone of worship is obedience to God.

So when a question says is it bad to worship on Sunday, I say no because worshiping God is never bad on any day.

But what the question perhaps should be, should I regard Sunday as the Sabbath?

The Bible says, remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

6 days shalt thou labor and do all thy work.

But the Sabbath day is the Sabbath of the law thy God.

Question for you, on what day do Christians celebrate Easter?

On what day do they celebrate Good Friday?

Have you heard of any church celebrating Easter on a Tuesday?

Christians celebrate Good Friday even though the Bible does not call for it.

And so the question is it intended to be a trick question but it can confuse the the hearer.

Worshiping God must be done twenty-four hours a day.

When you eat as the Bible recommends, you're worshiping.

When you dress modestly, you're worshipping.

Since God says keep the seventh day Sabbath and Sunday's the first day of the week.

Okay, it's worshiping on Sunday, bad, I dealt with that.

2, what is going to happen to those of us who worship on Sunday?

Are we going to be punished for that error?

Take a deep breath and get ready to hate me.

If you deliberately regard Sunday as the Sabbath, what's the key word?

Deliberately, Which means you are aware that it is not.

Because your reason is I was born a Baptist, I'll die a Baptist.

I'll die a Presbyterian No matter what the Bible says.

If that is your attitude and you are in willful disobedience to God.

And so the question says, what is going to happen to those of us who worship on Sunday?

If you don't, here's what Jesus says in John 15 22, if I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin, but now they have no cloak for their sin.

If Randy Skid had not come at God's command to speak to you, you would have been ignorant, but now he has spoken, you have no cloak for your sin.

And so my answer is those who disobey God will be destroyed.

Those who willingly, willfully I should say, same thing, deliberately listen to this verse and tell me if those people will go to heaven.

That by the word of God the heavens were of old and the earth standing out of the water and in the water.

The Bible says 2nd Peter chapter 3 verse 5, there are people who are willingly ignorant.

If I accept the truth you will upset my life.

God wants all people to know what's right and wrong.

That's why he arranges meetings like this.

If you know the seventh day of the Sabbath and you deliberately observe Sunday, you cannot be saved.

Can I serve God and keep his commandment?

The Dead Knows Nothing

If you have my version you may read with me.

I don't feel anything yet but we must live by faith.

Read with me and the lord god formed man of the dust of the ground.

And breathe into his nostrils the breath of life.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground.

Not just the ground, the dust of the ground.

Breathe into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul.

How many actions did God perform in verse 7?

The breath of life which means before he breathed the breath of life what was the condition of that thing he formed?

Keep this in mind until God breathed breath into that thing it was tell me lifeless it couldn't think couldn't feel couldn't smell couldn't taste this is early in the Bible We are getting a glimpse of what it means to be dead.

Come on emphasize the word the dead know.

Verse 16 verse 17 of Genesis 2 read with me if you have my version and the Lord God commanded the man saying it wasn't a suggestion of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shall surely die.

You will go back to the condition you're in before I breathe life into you.

We'll read from verse 17, Adam has sinned, Eve have sinned, and God is very unhappy.

But his unhappiness does not cancel his love.

Verse 17 of Genesis 3, God is addressing Adam, the head of the home.

And unto Adam he said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife.

At great risk in a society where the family is such a major focus, you cannot put your wife ahead of God.

You cannot put your husband ahead of God.

You cannot put your children, finish my words, ahead of God.

God said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice because you put someone else ahead of me cursed is the ground for thy sake.

Keep reading in sorrow shall thou eat of it all the days of thy life thorns or some fish shall bring forth unto thee and thou shall eat herb of the field.

Now, god is telling Adam, I'll curse you because you listen to someone else.

Now, verse 19 says, in the sweat of thy face shall thou eat bread until what?

Come on read until thou return where huh.

For out of it was thou taken God tells her you will go back to the condition you were in before I did what?

Before God breathed life into Adam, could Adam think yes or no?

Ephesians in the New Testament, lovely book, written by the apostle Paul, a mighty warrior for Christ.

Before God caught him, Paul was virtually a murderer of Christians.

It makes no difference the condition of your life if you will allow Christ to meet you.

There may be someone listening to me who believes or thinks my life is too far gone.

He can change your life but he has to do it if your life is in his hands.

Ephesians 2, reading from verse 1, before I read, let me pray again.

Father in heaven, this is a critical subject.

Remind me I am in this desk for your glory and your glory alone.

Now, think Give me the 2 opposite words in that verse quickly.

It’s My Fault

If it were not so, I would have told you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, We know not whither thou goest, and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If he had known me, He should have known my father also.

And from henceforth ye know him and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me Philip he that have seen me have seen the Father God is good and all the time Psalm 100 verse 5 for the Lord is good His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.

And this is our generation and the truth of God is available in this generation to those who want it.

Father in heaven, John 3 16 says, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.

For God so loved our guests on lined and in person that he gave his only begotten Son for them.

Now dear God, hear me as I call upon you in the name of Jesus.

I leave you to decide what they need most because you are their father.

Let me welcome all little boys and little girls.

As a matter of fact, all little children, come let me pray for you.

All little boys and girls, come, let me pray for you.

Come right up so the whole world can see you.

All my little brothers and little sisters, come, let me pray for you.

Those of you online, I'm praying for you as well.

My little brothers and my little sisters online.

I don't want to see any 6 feet tall children or 50 year old children.

I'm calling for children, little boys and little girls.

All my little brothers and sisters, come.

God bless you Come all the little boys and girls whom Jesus loves.

Come on say amen Yes, the little boys and girls We have a big little girl right here Anybody else little children bring them bring them bring them.

Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not.

You're not coming to me, you're coming to Jesus.

Little children, Bring them, bring them, bring them, please.

Little children online, please believe we are with you as I go to Christ and pray for all the little children.

And as I said, we have some big little children.

All right, all the children, have they come?

Then I have some questions to ask you and I want you to answer me honestly.

I want you to answer your big brother honestly.

Okay, come little angels, come, come, come.

How do you say come, how's it, come, come, come.

Good People Doing Bad Things

It is he that hath made us and not we ourselves.

We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise.

Be thankful unto him and bless his name for the Lord is good.

His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.

You heard the last verse of Psalm 100 verse 5, for the Lord is good.

When he gives a thunderous, no, he is good.

Psalm 145 verse 17, the lord is righteous in all his ways and holy in all his works.

In other words, God cannot do anything wrong.

How long do I have to wait for you to say amen?

But by his power, we can come to the place where we do everything that's right of which we are aware.

That is why in Psalm 106 verse 3 the Bible says, blessed are they that keep judgment and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Which means the power is available for us to do what is right at all times.

Let me welcome those of you online wherever you are, whether in this blessed country of Nigeria or some other country under the sun.
