I am Pastor Philip Batiste, your ASI Secretary-Treasurer and Departmental Director for ASI at the North American Division.

It's my pleasure and privilege this morning to be the host of our very distinguished Sabbath School panel.

And so this morning I'd like to have each panel member just introduce yourself and just share where you serve and your favorite prophet in the Bible.

Now we got a lot of preachers here, so just don't preach the introduction now, just 30 seconds.

Eric Walsh, I'm a medical doctor and I'm of a ministry called Restored Ministries and work out of Connecticut.

I work for work at I work for the Lord at The LNG White Estate favorite prophet would probably be Jeremiah Love it.

Nathan Krauss vice president for ministry and evangelism at Texas conference and I'm gonna go with Daniel as well.

And so we're gonna kind of move in rapid fire today.

You know, we're talking about this morning, our focus is we have this hope.

And the focus is on prophecy and being aware of Bible prophecies and being prepared for the time of the end Ahead and so we have some some a number on the screen And if you have questions, you can text your questions to that number and we'll try to get to them, but I have prepared 11 questions for 11th hour people.

Come on now, for us as 11th hour people to be ready for the second coming and for the end time.

So I'm going to ask our panelists to speak clearly, distinctly, and succinctly so that we can get through as much as we can.

But our first question is, understanding Bible prophecy, Can you share insights on how understanding Bible prophecy strengthens our hope in God's promises for the future?

So I think the Apostle Peter says, you know, we have this, we have a more sure word of prophecy.

And 1 of the reasons we teach prophecy, obviously, is for people to get in contact with the Bible.

Inherent to prophecy is the love of Christ.

When you really study prophecy, we talked about the 2300-day prophecy earlier this week, you see that the chaos that the world portrays is not reflective of God's character.

Now, when you study the book of Ezekiel, those early, that early chapter, when you see the wheel and the wheel and it seems so crazy and the winged creatures and all of this, when you study that, you actually find out that Ezekiel was a servant or he's working on the fields outside of the gates of Babylon and it seemed to this prophet that all had been lost.

This Prophecy came to him because God was showing him through the complexity of the prophecy that God was in complete control.

The other reason prophecy is so important is because when you are sharing prophecy with people, especially those that understand history, prophecy allows them to gain a confidence in the Word of God that you cannot gain any other way.

I would say, echo what you said, but I would go to the words of Christ.

I've told you these things so that when they happen, you may believe.

You know, 1 of the things that is fundamentally important with prophecy is the fact that When these things happen, it gives us that faith that the things that have yet to happen will happen.

So if you get something that's telling you exactly what's gonna happen in every time and every step along the way, it's right.

Then those future things, you have a lot of faith in that, that that's going to happen as well.

I think the other thing, I think what speaks to me is, Jesus also says that I tell you these things that you might have peace.

So part of, I think 1 of the contributions of knowing the way ahead is peace today.

If you were here yesterday at 9 a.m., you already know my answer.

I believe that prophecy gives us certainty and clarity because when you see that everything that in that 2300 day prophecy, so far everything has been fulfilled accurately, gives us confidence that God is still on the throne, he's still in control, and I'm hopeful.

And if I can just say this, I carry these little signs of the Times tracks, Ancient Prophecy Reveals the Future, everywhere I go it's a Daniel 2 tract.

When you show people, hey, real quick, you give them a 1 minute rundown of what that statue indicates and how everything has been fulfilled accurately, it grabs their attention.

I think the next thing that's told is going to be fulfilled accurately too.

And it's kind of like the story of that little boy that's reading the book at night and his father says, go to bed, you know, while you're still awake.

And he said, son, you know, dad, I'm reading this book and it's, you know, there's some good guys and there's some bad guys.

And, you know, in the middle of the book, the bad guys are beating up the good guys.

So, I did what you're not supposed to do.

I ran to the end of the book, and at the end of the book, I found the good guys win and the bad guys lose.

And so now he's going back reading the book, and as the bad guys look like they're winning, he's saying, if you knew what I knew, if you knew what I knew, if you knew what I knew, because in the end, the good guys win.

And I think that's what prophecy does for us.

It gives us hope, because in the end, God wins.

And because he wins, we win, because we are his people, amen?

Amen, so I want to go to our next question, and this kind of segues into what we just said.

I want to ask about the relevance of prophecy today.

So in what ways do you see Bible prophecy being fulfilled in today's world?

And how does this affirm our faith, and what implications does it have for us as believers?

Repeat the question again for me, please.

Yeah, and so in what ways do you see Bible prophecy being fulfilled in today's world and how does this affirm our faith and what implications does this have for us as Seventh-day Adventist believers?

So there's a lot of examples of this, and we went over this in my first message.

When you look at Matthew chapter 24, I think 1 of the most important things is that, you know, and I'll let everybody kind of fill this 1 in, but 1 of the best examples is if you were living through the first or second World War and you didn't know Bible prophecy, you would think that the end of the world was right at hand.

But because Jesus in Matthew 24 in verse 6 says, there'll be wars and rumors and wars, but the end is not yet.

If you understood Bible prophecy even during the darkest days of those wars you would understand even this will pass.

And so even as we Fast forward to the war that is raging in Europe right now, the war that is raging in the Middle East, there's wars that are raging in other parts of the world.

We do not have the nuclear anxiety around nuclear weapons the rest of the world has, because our God has already promised us that war is not the way that the world will end.

So, I would say that, you know, when I look at it, the Bible says and foretells that the future that the heart of man will grow cold.

And we see that in the world quite a bit.

And that's something that's kind of nebulous because there's always been wickedness and evil everywhere.

But there's something else in the Bible that I think is interesting that really draws home the point of where we live.

When you look at the Bible, there's 2 real big examples of end time encapsulated in a story.
