A Beginning with No End

I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go, ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest, and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

If he had known me, he should have known my Father also.

And from henceforth he know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip?

He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.

And how sayest thou then, shew us the Father?

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself.

But the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me.

Or else believe me for the very work's sake.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the father may be glorified in the son if he shall ask anything in my name I will do it if you love me keep my commandments god is good and all the time psalm 100 verse 5 for the lord is good his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth to all generations.

When Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17, He told him in verse 17, Sanctify them through thy truth.

He did not recommend the Encyclopedia Britannica.

There are many people we respect and we listen to their words, but we must understand only thus saith the Lord has a sanctifying effect and 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 verse 3 tells us this is the will of God even your Sanctification It is god's will that we be sanctified and the instrument of that sanctification is a spirit filled word of god which brings to us the very life of god.

We thank God for bringing us through another day.

We're close to the setting of the sun, which will usher in the blessed Sabbath day ignored by most of the world but still respected by a few and your presence tells me you respect God's holy day.

We don't worship the commandments but we worship God Because of what God means to us, we obey him.

If you're driving down the street and a policeman does that, what do you do?

If you're driving down the road and I do that.

I have no power but the policeman or woman with that badge and that uniform represents the power of the state.

So when he or she does that, because of who the person is, I stop.

Because of who God is, he said, remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

6 days shall thou labor and do all thy work.

But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.

Thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gate.

For in 6 days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day.

Wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and Hallowed day.

When Peter and the other disciples were fishing all night and caught nothing.

Jesus says, launch out into the deep and let down your net for a draft.

Peter said, Lord, we have fished all night and have taken nothing.

But then he said, nevertheless, at thy word, I will let down the net because you said so and I know who you are.

So even though I am a professional fisherman And I know where the best fish can be found at what time of the year or the day I?

Found nothing all night Because you said do it again.

I'll do it We obey because of who tells us to obey.

Who is with us tonight for the very first time?

All right, well we're all members of the family.

Let me tell you again, perhaps you're bored hearing me say it.

I'm happy, pleased, honored to be with you and to speak the words of God to you.

I will miss you when I'm gone and I will always pray for you, but I'm not gone yet So let's see what God will do for us Tonight our subject a beginning with no end.

Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 9, then the Lord put forth his hand and touched my mouth and the Lord said unto me, behold I have put my words, not Gabriel or any other angel, God himself has promised to put his words in my mouth and I asked him publicly to do that for me tonight and Favor number 3.

I want you to think the religion of Christ appeals to thinking people Let me say differently so you do not misunderstand I did not say the religion of Christ appeals only to people with academic degrees.

I didn't say that I said the religion of Christ appeals to thinking people who are willing to think and so God says come now let us do what?

Reason together and I hope you'll do that as you listen to me speak the words of God.

We thank you for waking us up this morning in our right minds Some people went to sleep and didn't wake up Lord, but you gave us another day praise your most holy name because you're God of gods and king of kings and lord of lords tonight as we come here lord we invite the holy spirit to be with all of us put your words in pastor skeet's mouth that what he said may be what you want us to hear Please give us open hearts and minds to receive it in Jesus name.

Sleeping with the Enemies

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." God is good and all the time.

Psalm 100 verse 5, for the Lord is good, with a capital G.

His mercy is everlasting And his truth endureth to all generations.

About a few years ago, I looked at the shepherd's psalm again and realized it's really all about God, not the shepherd.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.

By the way, when we do what's right, Glory comes to God.

The primary purpose of obedience is to glorify God.

I accept the amen but it could be stronger.

The primary purpose of obedience is the glory of God.

And so Elohim said God's glory is connected to our obedience.

Remember as Adventists we know that the original charge Satan brought against God was what?

When you and I obey God by the power of the Spirit, we prove Him wrong and we prove God right.

Every act of disobedience strengthens Satan's argument.

Every act of obedience by the power of God strengthens God's arguments.

Always keep in mind Isaiah 43 verse 7, I have created him for my glory.

We are not on the earth for ourselves, are you with me?

That is why we know this verse so well, 1st Corinthians 10 31, whether therefore ye eat or drink or whatsoever ye do, finish it, and I love Psalm 106 verse 3.

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

There is no exception for doing what is right and Nobody has said it man You're a rough crowd tonight, but it's okay.

God still loves you more than you'll ever understand.

Well, what's many 2 could be many But anyway, what does the Bible say?

1 way to do that I usually recommend make a spiritual connection with everything you see and talk about it.

What do you see outside through the window?

Yes, and the glory of man as a flower of grass.

The grass witherth, yeah, the flower thereof falleth away, but the word of the Lord endureth forever.

All of creation was designed to keep God on our minds all the time.

It is when the mind drifts from God, Satan says, ah finally I have a break.

Let's say you see a dead raccoon make a spiritual connection.

The wages of sin is death for men, for animals, the wages of sin is death.

Let's see you see a live raccoon, spiritual connection.

He has made, ah yes, he has made all things beautiful.

What I'm trying to tell you, you can train your mind to think spiritually under all circumstances.

The policeman pulls you over for speeding.

Lord, how are they increased that trouble me?

Well, perhaps not she's sitting next to you.

So make us We don't want the Civil War but make a spiritual connection at all the time.

You're wearing clothes, let's say they're made of cotton, make a spiritual connection.

God created a plant that produces cotton.

He will clothe us with the robes of righteousness.

And the more you do it, the more it becomes automatic.

Elowite writes, Ministry of Healing, page 491, paragraph 3, that which at first seems difficult by constant repetition grows easy and right thoughts and actions become habitual.

The same way we by nature think what's wrong or by nature we retaliate, Someone slaps you, you don't have to stop and think, what should I do, you slap back.

So that automatically you take it quietly like Jesus.

All right, enough of that, Yes, I'm listening.

That's the kingdom of heaven, by the way.

That's not the way things function on the earth.

Tell Me Why

After this there was a feast of the Jews and Jesus went up to Jerusalem Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool Which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda having porches In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, a blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool and troubled the water.

Whosoever then first, after the troubling of the water, stepped in, was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there which had an infirmity 30 and 8 years.

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man.

When the water is troubled, to put me into the pool.

But while I am coming, another stepeth down before me.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

And immediately was made whole and took up his bed and walked.

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, it is the Sabbath day, It is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed He answered them He that made me whole the same said unto me take up thy bed and walk Then asked they him what man is that which said unto thee, take up thy bed and walk?

And he that was healed wished not who it was, for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.

Afterward, Jesus findeth him in the temple and said unto him, behold, thou art made whole.

Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Psalm 100, verse 5, for the Lord is good.

His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.

This is the day which the Lord hath made.

The day that lies between what people call Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

Right smack between the 2 is the holy day, the seventh day Sabbath.

And to God, it is so important that he assigns an entire other day called the preparation day to get ready for that day.

That day requires preparation And so I say to you from my heart, happy Sabbath.

As we worship on this earth, there's a worship going on in heaven.

Because the church on earth and the church in heaven are 1.

How many times have we read the lord's prayer?

Our father which are in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come slowly now, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven and so I say again, the church on earth and the church in heaven are 1.

When Jesus rose from the grave and he saw Mary Magdalene in the garden, he said to her, go to my brethren and tell them I ascend to my father and your father, to my God and your God.

The church of God on earth is a part of God's heavenly family.

That's why we are required to obey on this earth The way people obey God in heaven is there anyone with us today?

You are not a seventh Adventist Nice your hand You are not a seventh Adventist.

May I see your hand you are a guest You are a visitor Here we have no guests.

Let me welcome the online audience Thank you so much for having been with us night after night during this week of revival Let me thank God publicly for the high honor of speaking for him Tremendous honor to speak for God Let me also say publicly how delighted I have been to fellowship with you.

I will leave with a distinct impression that you love the word of God.

Another thing about you that struck me, how attentive you are.

Now I can make that judgment because I speak to audiences all over the world.

You struck me to be very, very attentive.

Some more than others, but all of you attentive.

And I want you to know when you're like that, it strengthens the preacher.

Preachers will tell you that always 1 person or there are 2 or 3 persons that give him or her strength Because of the way the people are locked into what he's saying It strengthens him and I found that in you On all sides of this building our subject.

Tell me why I don't have a phone with me But if you have yours and you're not using it, please turn it off And I always emphasize off not down now if you're using it because the Bible text is on it Then turn the volume all the way down.

I'll tell you again as I have told you before, the religion of the Bible, the religion of Christ appeals to thinking people.

Not necessarily people with academic degrees, but people willing to think.

The religion of Jesus appeals to that person.

And we're going to give you the angels to that person.

1 to seek forgiveness if I've offended you.

Cleanse me that I may be a clean instrument in your hand, and that the word you give me will not be contaminated by me.

I also come to ask you, Father, to grant me a measure of your spirit.

However small the measure you give, it will go a long way to keep me on the path of truth.

I ask you, dear God, also put on either side of me mighty angels to protect me from the evil 1 as I deliver the words of life.

I ask you also that god bless those who have come to hear your word in this building and online.

It is the enemy's purpose to confuse their minds but I'm appealing to you in the name of your son and my savior.

Let the spirit guide the thinking of god and keep the enemy at bay.

If you will not give complete healing, give relief.

I pray not only for us here at the Livingston SDA Church, but I ask these favors for all of the churches right now.

Members of the commandment keeping people who are worshipping you.

Guide the deliberations of the leaders, dear God.

Remind them in your own way that the Most High ruleth in the kingdoms of men.

And let us who call ourselves your children hold on to the fact that you are in final charge of what happens.

Well, before we read 16, 17 of chapter 2, let's read 1, then 31 of chapter 1.

Let's read 1, then thirty-one of chapter 1.

Verse 1 of chapter 1, verse thirty-one of chapter 1, then we go to chapter 2 and read 16 and 17.

Thy Kingdom Come

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

His mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations, all generations.

As long as there has been God, and He has always been there, truth has been there.

When God gets rid of sin, he will also get rid of error and unfortunately he will have to get rid of those who persist in living their lives by error.

God will have, You know, I'm sure you do hunting in Tennessee.

Around November or so, it is deer hunting season.

And almost every hunting season, someone is accidentally shot.

Because that person finds himself, almost always a man, in the line of fire.

God has a high-powered rifle to call his judgment, his justice.

He must pull the trigger Because a righteous God hates sin.

If you or I persist in keeping sin in our lives, God must pull the trigger.

If you have it in you, He has no choice but to take you out.
