I hope you all have seen throughout the series and in prior sermons I've preached, my favorite topic is God's love.

And this morning we will explore this love that's going to last forever, as Ziggy hinted at earlier.

In our previous study, we examined the expression, testimony of Jesus, found in Revelation 12, 17, and explored 2 key requirements of God's last day church.

They will keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

We saw that in Revelation 19.10, that the testimony of Jesus Christ is the gift of prophecy, the spirit of prophecy.

We examined how the heir of God's people is divided into 3 distinct periods.

First, we have the Jewish church that was given the gift of prophecy through lots of the Old Testament prophets, remember?

Then second, we looked at the early Christian church, which was given the gift of prophecy as well.

And then we came to the big last question.

Will God's last day people be given the gift of prophecy in that third period.

In our study we discovered that in fact he has.

However I challenged you to read Ellen White for yourselves.

Don't listen to what the pastor or what the internet has to say, read for yourself, discover for yourself, test her.

We went through the tests of a prophet, test her for yourself.

And if you've made the majority of the series, you have seen that the sanctuary is all about who?

Jesus and his plan to save you, his plan to save me.

But everything in the sanctuary seems to point to Jesus.

The festivals were actually a prophetic timeline of the plan of salvation.

The spring festivals, feasts, were Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and the Feast of Weeks.

And then you came to the fall where we had the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the feast of tabernacles.

Passover commemorated Israel's deliverance from Egypt, but it was a type that pointed forward to the Lamb, the cross, the Lamb of God, that took away the sins of the world.

It pointed forward to Jesus on the cross.

The system of the earthly sanctuary that pointed to the Messiah and his death had now become an end to the sanctuary model altogether, right?

It pointed forward to Jesus and so a lot of that those things went away because we had the true, we didn't need the example.

The next day was the day of unleavened bread, a ceremonial Sabbath.

The day after that was Sunday, the feast of first fruits.

The early harvest, which would have been for them barley, It was a thanks offering of the first fruits you brought in.

This pointed to Jesus and his resurrection from the dead.

Paul refers to Jesus as the first fruits of those who are going to follow.

And then 50 days later, it's the Feast of weeks, another harvest feast.

The true was the day that the Lord poured out the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, right?

The feast of trumpets was to announce the coming of the day of atonement.

It started 10 days before the day of atonement.

It's interesting if you look at the day for a year prophecy, 10 years before 1844 is when the Millerite movement really started picking up steam.

Then you have the Day of Atonement which we studied was the great day of judgment.

We studied the 2300 day prophecy that ended when?

Today we're gonna examine the Feast of Tabernacles, which is also a harvest celebration, commemorating the time when the full harvest came in.

And this sanctuary message, the feasts, it's amazing that God has revealed to Israel and to us now the entire plan of salvation, the whole calendar of salvation, which Israel, if you think about it, lived their lives.

Imagine if you didn't have Ingalls or Kroger or Publix down the street.

Your whole life would be around the harvest, would it not?

They lived their life around the harvest, and God created a special message in that harvest for them, special celebrations of those harvests for them.

So put your minds in that mindset and think through as the harvest comes in.

God is reminding you of what he is doing for you.

It's a beautiful way to keep it fresh in their minds.

The Feast of Tabernacles was the last in the yearly round of services that pointed forward to the final act of the plan of salvation.

It began on the 15th day of the seventh month when the harvests were all gathered from the field, the vineyard or the olive groves.

The feast of tabernacles followed the day of atonement, which was the time of judgment.

Therefore, the feast of tabernacles must point to an event that comes after the close of judgment.

This feast takes us forward to the great day and final in-gathering, when the Lord of the harvest shall send forth his reapers to gather his beloved children, to gather you and me, amen?

Very soon, the ransom host will journey to attend the feast at their Father's harvest home.

We will dwell in the New Jerusalem in the Father's mansion made especially for us.

Some of you wonder, what is it going to be like?

What kind of things will the redeemed of all ages do?

Often in the Christian world, we think of fat, naked babies floating on clouds playing harps.

And it's sad to me, because that sounds really boring and kind of Crazy, doesn't it?

And it's sad because it's a misrepresentation of heaven.

Today, we're gonna look and see what the Bible has to say about heaven and it being a real place with real things to do.

And before we get started, you're thinking, wow, that was a long intro.

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, we wanna thank you for this sanctuary message.

The feast, And Father, most importantly, this feast of tabernacles, when you will send, when you will come to gather your harvest.

Father, make us among that harvest, and we pray and thank you in Jesus' name, amen.

Number 1, what did Jesus promise his people?

John 14, verse 2, in my Father's house are many mansions.

If it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.'" You see, we have a room waiting for us in our Father's house, amen?

And notice he doesn't say, "'In my Father's house I'm a contractor "'building a lot of mansions.' It says, "'In my Father's house are many mansions.'" They're already waiting for us, friends.

This speaks to me that God is doing a work in the sanctuary.

This speaks of the sanctuary as well here.

I have been in some really nice hotels and houses through my life, and these houses are gonna put them all to shame.

You know, 1 time I went to some meetings and they emailed me before and said, what are all your favorite things?

And they listed a bunch of things, like what was your favorite drink, your candy, snack, what do you like to read?

And I got to my room, Guess what there was?

Heaven is gonna be so much better than that, friends.
