It was limited, and it was just a reminder of the results of sin.

The heavenly reality, though, is Christ has entered the true tabernacle with his own blood.

His perfect blood was the only solution for your sin.

As our advocate, he obtained eternal redemption and cleansed our conscience.

Because Christ has done the work described in chapter 9, we're gonna read about what we're to do in chapter 10.

So Hebrews 10 jumps right in, much like Hebrews 9 did.

The temple law, the Mosaic law, is not a complete solution.

It is really only pointing us to the heavenly sanctuary.

Verse 4 in chapter 10 says it plainly, for it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.

Christianity without Jesus, I appreciate the message.

If you noticed the message in their songs, it was all about Jesus, isn't it?

That's the season we're entering, and Christianity without Jesus is just a reminder of how broken and lost we are.

The earthly sanctuary was not the solution.

Verses 1-11 continue the thought that the earthly sanctuary wasn't the answer.

Hebrews 10 verse 12 reads, But this man, who is it speaking of?

But this man, after he had offered 1 sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God." Forever, friends.

Verse 14, "'For by 1 offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

Jesus' gift perfected what all the sacrifices could not do.

For they could not purge the conscience." It is only the acceptance of Jesus as the substitute that we are made whole.

Friends, do you know that you're living in the greatest love story that will ever be told?

We are counted perfect not because what we have done.

We are only counted perfect because of what He has done for us.

So our first bullet today is the problem was the sanctuary wasn't the solution, it was just a reminder, and the solution is Jesus.

Hebrews 10 and 19 reads, therefore brethren having boldness to enter the holiest by the blood of Jesus.

Once a year, the high priest was allowed to enter, right?

Now I'm gonna switch thoughts for a minute.

We're chasing little squirrels and we'll bring them together.

But Moses at the end was a pretty good man, right?

He's about as good as they come without Christ.

Hide, he had to hide and it says cleft, just kind of a nook of a rock.

God says, you can't see my face, I'm gonna cover you with my hand, I'm gonna fly by and when I'm on my way by, I'm gonna remove my hand and you can see the back of me just for a second because if you see the front, you're gonna die, right?

And how long did Moses, they said his face was aglow, so bad that Israel said, Moses, you got to put something on your face.

Jesus is the answer, and sin cannot stand before a holy God, right?

That's the problem with Moses and God there.

This is the point, the plan of salvation.

It's to separate the sin from the sinner.

Aren't you glad we serve a Savior that wants to separate the sin from the sinner?

He wants to destroy sin that separates you from him.

Thus Jesus came to save you that we might be reunited with God.

And it is this plan, God's gift, that has us be able to enter with what?

God wants to reunite us so we're not going sending a priest ahead and saying once a year you can go before God.

We can go into the throne room of God with Jesus's gift with boldness.

We can stand face to face with a holy God.

And it is because of Jesus's gift that when we accept, we can go before God with boldness.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
