Another Ark to Build

This morning we want to share a very solemn subject, which is entitled, Another Arc to Build.

And my friends, I believe with every fiber in my being that we're living in stupendous times.

I believe that we're living in the very end of this earth's history.

And I believe that God wants to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

So without any further ado, we want to dive right into our subject this morning.

And I invite you to bow your heads as we pray together.

Father in heaven, we're grateful, Lord, that your Holy Spirit is here.

We're grateful Lord that you want to speak to us this morning and I pray Father that you'll send holy angels that excelling strength to come and tabernacle with us.

And I pray, Lord, that you'll challenge us this morning, that we'll leave here closer to being ready for when you come.

We're gonna look at 3 components in our subject, the faith, our family, and our field.

Now, the book of Matthew, chapter 24, is 1 of the most fascinating books in the Bible.

And what I love about the book is, it's like a love letter from Jesus to his people.

The disciples in verse 3 of Matthew chapter 24 said, "'Tell us, when shall these things be?

"'What shall be the signs of thy coming and of the end of the world?

Now Jesus anxious to share with them when they will unite and reunite once again, the same for us.

He begins to send love letters as a sign to say, these are the things that you look for, and you know that by God's grace my coming is near.

Now, in Matthew chapter 24, what you find is it's divided into three-thirds.

Verse 1 through 13, you see recurring signs.

Verse 14 to 35, you see very specific signs.

And then verse 35 and onward you see warnings.

I want to point out to us that Jesus himself, these are the words of Christ, spent just as much time warning us that we need to be ready as much as he did giving us information.

In verse 44 it says, be therefore ready for in an hour that you think not, the Son of Man cometh.

So he's telling us he wants us to be ready.

Now he gives us 7 warnings specifically, 7 warnings.

And the first warning is found in Matthew chapter 24 and verse 37.

If you have your Bibles, let's turn it together.

Again, our subject this morning, another ark to build.

The Bible says, but as the days of Noah were, So shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

So this tells us that as we look at the story of Noah, and as we look at these 7 warnings given specifically by Christ himself, this tells us, my friends, This is not something to gloss over.

Because he said, the things that happen in the time of Noah will happen just before I come the second time.

Therefore, it's not just a message that happened then, it's something that's gonna be taking place right now.

In fact, the Bible says in Romans chapter 15 and verse 4, So God is saying, as you look at the life of Noah, I want my people in these last days to find hope.

There's a message, there's a warning, but God says in it I want you to find hope.

As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

Now as you study the life of Noah, We said we'll study his faith, his family, and then his field.

It says here, by faith, and by the way, this is Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 7, By faith, Noah being worn of God, of things not seen as yet, prepared an ark for the saving of his household.

I want you to notice these words, by faith, Noah being worn of God.

If you think back on the times of Noah, there had never been rain.

In fact, they probably didn't know what the message was that Noah was giving.

So as Noah is building this gigantic immense boat in an area and a place that they've, you know, is completely unfamiliar to them, the Bible says, but Noah prowled forward by faith.

In fact, I want you to notice what it says here.

It says, they talked of science and of the laws controlling nature, calling him a crazy fanatic.

In other words, they probably came to Noah and said, Noah, have you seen the weather report for the last thousand years?

Have you seen the weather report for the last thousand years?

Have you seen the weather report for the next thousand years?

In fact, they say, Noah, what you're doing is completely unscientific.

I want you to also keep in mind that Noah recognized that the flood that was coming is not a devising of man.

He recognized that the flood that was coming is not a devising of man.

He recognized that the flood that was coming was not something that his devising and his skills and his tools could save him from.

It says here, it was Christ who kept the ark safe amid the roaring, seething billows, because it imitates, inmates had faith in his power to preserve them.

Praise God my brothers and sisters, amen?

Noah recognized that he's only saved by faith.

Noah recognized though he had a work to do, He recognized that his works could not save him.

He could only be saved by the power, by the grace, and the might of God.

It says, it says here, As he began to construct that immense boat on what?

Multitudes came from every direction to see the strange sight.

So I want you to imagine now, he has never rained, and Noah's building this boat on dry ground, and he's pounding away for 120 years and saying that a flood is coming, a flood is coming and they're saying we have never had something called rain.

Let me say this my friends, in these last days of earth history we're going to have the faith, we will need to have the faith of Noah.

When you read in the book of Genesis chapter 6, verse 11 through 13, the Bible tells us that there was corruption and that there was violence.

I want to remind us, the Bible says, But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

Therefore, If we see corruption and we also see violence, then we can rest assured we're seeing the fulfillment of Bible prophecy spoken by Jesus himself that told us that what you saw taking place in the times of Noah, you're going to see it again in the last days.

Are we seeing any violence in this earth right now.

In fact, my brothers and sisters, 1 of the most horrific scenes that I saw more recently was that lady from Ukraine, I believe her name was Arina or something like that.

She's just sitting on a train, and then someone just comes from behind and begins to stab her and stab her until she died.

Many of us unfortunately saw the brutal shooting of Charlie Kirk.

My friends, we're seeing violence and we're seeing corruption.

We've heard of Black Lives Matter and many other lives matter.

But something that many of us have not heard about is something called, a group called No Lives Matter.

It says here, the No Lives Matter group is a dangerous, extremist organization that advocates violence, terrorism, and destruction of humanity.

It says, the group actively promotes real world violence, knifing, killing, firebombing, school shooting.
