I realize that usually afternoon programs are not very well attended for whatever reason but I'm delighted to see so many of you who have chosen to come back and my prayer is that god will reward your sacrifice which is not much of a sacrifice but he will reward you for giving time to him.

I'll scratch yours kind of god But he begins by scratching ours first by having sent Jesus Christ.

Always remember, God is a god of principle.

He works certain ways and a careful study of God's word will unearth.

You can excavate, dig up, and dig out, and dislodge from the quarry of eternal truth.

Certain gems about how God functions And God is a God of principled behavior.

In other words, if you obey, God blesses.

If I confess, he forgives, that's guaranteed.

If I ask for money, he may not give it, that's not guaranteed.

So the more we study the Bible, the more we understand how god functions and god really is a god who wants us to know and I will get into that as this afternoon's program progresses.

Anyone with us who's not a Seventh-day Adventist?

They came this morning, did not come back.

You know, it's a, well, let me explain what I mean.

Bible says in Genesis 19 verse 1 and they came to angels to Sodom and even and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground and said behold now my Lord Enter I pray you into thy servant's house and tarry all night and wash your feet and you shall rise up early in the mornings and go on your way.

And they said nay but we will abide in the street all night.

The Bible says he pressed upon them greatly.

So, next time visitors come in the morning, press upon them greatly.

Let them know our survival depends on your return and they may just come back and join the baptismal class.

The church exists for people's salvation.

It doesn't exist to show off the latest fashion, build fancier churches or a place to meet nice people.

It is a place where people come to be saved from sin to be healed from the hurts to learn that any problem they have can be solved.

Whenever you look uncomfortable, I feel badly for you.

Alright, please, my dear sister, turn them off now.

So, God is not disgraced and disrespected while he seeks to bless us.

Favor number 2, while I'm speaking pray for me and all I want you to say is Lord put your words in that man's mouth and favor number 3 I want you to think think think.

Holy Father in heaven as I deliver the word to your people.

When you said to Moses, now therefore go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shall say.

Help me to say clearly, help me to seek your glory and nothing else.

Go with me to first Corinthians chapter 10.

Now, this will be an interactive session.

So, when I ask you a question, you must answer me.

We'll read together if we have the King James version, verse 1.

Reading together, moreover brethren I would not that ye should be ignorant how that all our fathers were under the cloud and all pass through the sea.

Let us go to first Corinthians chapter 3.

Now, only those on the left side, my left, you read verse 16, what does it say?

Knowing not that ye are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you.

I want you to read verse 15, verse 16, verse 19.

Knowing not that your bodies are the members of Christ.

Knowing not that he which is joint and harlot is 1 flesh.
