Thank you very much for coming to listen to God's Word At the end of this holy day, I believe the sun is close to setting or has already set.

But whether it has set or not, the sun never sets on our personal holiness.

It does not set on our holiness as children of God.

So even though the sun has set, make sure that whatever plans we have made for tonight are plans that represent a holy life.

I know you've had a long day and so I want to be merciful in that regard without necessarily stifling the work of the Holy Spirit.

Before I begin I want to ask a question I should have asked earlier today and also last night.

Is there anyone present with us who is not a Seventh-day Adventist?

I like to acknowledge those who visit among us who are not of our faith.

The Lord has sent a message for you and I want you alert and await.

Our subject for this evening is, no strings attached.

Before I begin, please turn off your cell phones.

I believe some of you have already gone ahead of me, anticipated my request and you've turned your phones off.

Those of you a little slow, would you please catch up now and turn off your expensive phones.

Favor number 2, while I'm speaking, pray for me and all I want you to say is, Lord, put your words in that man's mouth.

And favor number 3, please think as you listen to the Word of God.

Holy Father, as an act of mercy, grant me your spirit that the words I speak may be your words directly from your throne.

I ask today God to grant me your spirit that he may possess all of me, that he may speak through me for your glory and for the blessing of your people.

Therefore they enlighten every listening heart, I pray.

And at the end of this message, let us say that we have seen you a little more clearly.

For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

I know all the fowls of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee, for the world is mine and the fullness thereof." Psalm 50, verses 10 to 12.

I told you on Friday evening that I would present a special people for such a time as this and a special message, but the Spirit of God has led me in a different direction.

And so this message, No Strings Attached, has as a sort of a subtitle, an attitude for such a time as this.

The world is mine, says God, and the fullness thereof.

All the heavens are mine, and the earth is mine, says God.

In Psalm 24, verse 1, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.

What are we to learn from this statement?

Let's go to Genesis 2 and find the root of this teaching that we just read in Psalm 50, 10 to 12.

Now let's reason together and see what the Holy Ghost will reveal to us.

Genesis 2, 16 and 17, the Bible says, And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayst freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat of it.

For in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

What gave God the right to tell Adam, you may eat of those trees, do not eat of this 1?

For God to say that, Adam had to have been given not ownership of the world, but managerial responsibility.

If the world had belonged to Adam, God would have had no right to tell Adam what tree he could eat from and what tree he could avoid.

Let me say it again by going to Genesis 1, verse 26.

And the Lord said, and God said, let us make man in our image after our likeness.

And so because God always retained ownership of the heavens and the earth, God was within his right to say to Adam, eat of these trees, leave this 1 alone Because in reality all the trees are mine.

You and I own nothing except our sins and even those God wants.

Because of the nature of the organization ASI and because last night, this morning, this evening there was a parade of people who have various ministries and God bless the ministries.

We have to be careful that we do not begin to think that God owes us anything.

Regardless of the ministry we have, regardless of how it flourishes, we need to understand that God owes us nothing.

No 1 can say to God, you owe me this or you owe me that.

In Genesis 14, this is the chapter in which 4 armies come from the other side of the Euphrates River and it came to pass in the days of Amoriphel, king of Shinar, Ariok, King of Elisar, Kedol-Leomer, King of Elam, and Tidal, King of Nations, that these made war with Bera, King of Sodom, and with Bersha, King of Gomorrah, and Shinam, King of Admar, and Shamiba, the King of Zeboim, and the King of Bela, which is Zoar.

All these were joined together in the Vale of Sidim which is the Salt Sea.

The Bible tells us that 4 armies came from the other side of the Euphrates, attacked Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboim and Bela.

Abraham goes in pursuit of these men with his trained servants.

He catches up, destroys them, brings back according to verse 16, and he brought again his brother lot and all his goods, the women also and the people.

Then Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God brought forth bread and wine, " verse 19, and he blessed him and said, "'Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth." God owns everything.

And blessed be the most high God which hath given thine enemies into thy hand And he gave him tithes of all.

And the king of Sodom said to Abraham, or Abram in Genesis 14, 21, give me the persons and take the goods to thyself.

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto the Lord, the Most High God, the Possessor of heaven and earth.

Now I have to drum that into our heads with great politeness but firmness because it is easy for the carnal nature to view God as indebted to us.

You see, even though we are converted and we're led by the Spirit, the carnal nature is not dead.

Its role as the ruler of our lives, that is dead.

But it is not dead in itself, it is still alive.

And so we must always be conscious when you study the Bible, you must be conscious that there is a power trying to pervert the interpretation of Scripture.

And so the carnal nature would have you and me think that God owes us something.

My brothers and sisters with all possible respect, let me say again, God owes you nothing.
