11.11 Heavenly Father, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would please be with us today.

11.12 Lord, we thank You for what You have done so far and what You will continue to do.

11.24 And Father, as we open your word today, I pray, Lord, that you would speak to our hearts.

Father, right now we ask for stillness of mind.

I know there are many things that must be done today, but Lord just grant us the power of focus that we may shut out all the things of this world and have our eyes riveted on you.

Especially in this room, Lord, bring about a sense of holiness and a sense of Your presence.

If you have your Bibles, I would like for you to open with me to Numbers chapter 13.

05.13.13 05.13.13 05.13.13 05.13.13 26.15 From verse 25.

The Bible 26.15 says, And they returned from searching of the land after 40 days.

26.15 And they went and came to Moses and to Aaron and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, 26.15 unto the wilderness of Paran to Kadesh 262 00.00.00 and brought back word unto them 263 and unto all the congregation 264 and shewed them the fruit of the land.

265 And they told him and said, 266 We came unto the land where thou sent us, 267 And surely it floweth with milk and honey, and this is the fruit of it.

Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great.

And moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

Verse 30, And Caleb stilled the people before Moses and said, 32.13 Let us go up at once and possess it, for we are able to overcome it.

32.13 But the men that went up with him said, 32.13 be not able to go up against the people 42.13 for they are stronger than we.

42.13 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched onto the children of Israel saying, 42.13 The land through which we have gone to search.

It is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof.

And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.

And we were in our own sight as grasshoppers.

The title of my message today, Grasshopper.

The children of Israel, these 12 spies, go out and 10 of them return with an evil report.

They go up to the land, they see all the obstacles, they see the giants before them and they compare this battle to a giant versus a grasshopper.

And I just imagine how often we look at our giants and we look at what we have to face and the obstacles that we may have to come across if we fully give our lives to Jesus or if we fully decide to follow the lamb with us wherever he goes.

And we may see ourselves as grasshoppers.

And He sees no challenge in you in and of yourself.

But beloved, while the devil sees you as a grasshopper, God as well sees you as a grasshopper.

And God, this is beautiful because God says, Our son, daughter, not only are you a grasshopper, but you are my grasshopper.

You know when you think of a grasshopper you think of something that is what?

And beloved, let me say this, that in reality you are 1 or the other.

21 You are a giant or you are a grasshopper.

22 I mean, let me give you another illustration.

Look at the story 22 22 of David, by the way, before we get to the story of David, do you realize that God desired the children of Israel to see themselves as grasshoppers?

22 God wanted, Yes, yes, you are a grasshopper in their sight.

So they knew that they in and of themselves had no strength to go up against a giant.

47 God tells us he who exalts himself will be what?

47 Humbled and he who humbles himself 47 will be exalted.

47 And so the children of Israel should have been rejoicing that they were grasshopper status.

And he comes up to Goliath with a challenge and Goliath was a giant.

And Goliath looks at this grasshopper and says, Grasshopper, are you coming to challenge me in warfare?

Don't you know that I am a skilled martial artist?

And he begins to go on about what he's going to do to this little grasshopper, but he doesn't realize that this grasshopper has a master by the name of Jesus.

And that this grasshopper had been being trained in the backwoods of the wilderness, amen.

So that when a lion and a bear had risen up against this little grasshopper, This grasshopper was able to destroy both the lion and the bear.

And now Goliath comes on the scene not realizing that he is the real grasshopper and David is the real giant.

You see in the eyes of the real world, everybody's weeping for David.

But in the eyes of faith, everyone knows what's going to happen to who?

It's interesting, beloved, that God calls us to be grasshoppers because He wants us to be humble.

He wants us to be little in our own sight.

And beloved, when we become grasshoppers in Christ...

107 when we enter that school of faith and He begins to call us grasshoppers...

108 How many of you would like to hear Jesus call you grasshopper?

We are His student and whatever He says we believe.

31.22 It's interesting if you look at the story of Saul, a story we have mentioned a few times, when Samuel comes to Saul after his final rebellion, Samuel gives Saul a speech.

You remember Saul did not kill everything that God told him to destroy.

25 And I want you to notice what this...something very interesting about this speech.

This is just a few verses before Samuel says, 25 Saul, rebellion is as the sin of what?

Listen to what he says in verse 17 Samuel said when thou wast little in thine own sight, was thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel?

You see Saul used to be a grasshopper, humble, small in his own eyes.

When Goliath the giant comes and requests for someone to fight 21s Saul the giant backs down because his power was no longer in God.

21s So you've got Saul the giant but you've got David the grasshopper.

21s And David the grasshopper, this little boy comes on the scene and does what Saul the giant could not do when he was little in his own sight.

11 11 Beloved, we can either be a giant or we can be a grasshopper.

To be a giant is to be exalted, is to exalt yourself, is to magnify yourself.

Exalt my throne above the stars of God Satan's whole goal his whole mission His whole purpose was to exalt Himself above God's Word and above God's rule, above God's law.

And you know there are even many giants in the land today.

Listen, beloved, in the last days there are only 2 groups existing, giants and what?
