I'm from, originally from Mauritius, a church in Montreal.

I'm right now in Montreal, going to Norwood Church.

And like Florenda said, I am part of a group called Jaffa.

It's a French ECYC in terms of, but we tend to be more weekend instead of being from Thursday to Sunday.

So we have twice a year like a Bible boot camp and during these Weekends we study the Word of God we have people young people basically French young people who comes and every time there's a lot of new faces asking a lot of questions, things that they didn't understand and we try throughout this Bible Boot Camp to clarify things and so that they can continue their walk with with God.

So this is basically our work with this Bible boot camp.

So before we start this seminar, I would like you to do 2 things for me.

I was in other seminars and I heard some phone who was ringing so if you can turn it off for this hour please and every time if you can every time you have a moment when we are having a session or a devotion, I'm turning my phone also off so that you can have the example.

The second thing is to pray while I'm speaking.

And every time you're hearing somebody speaking in front here, please keep him in your prayers and also pray for yourself is that okay so we can start now right Are you ready to get in the time of trouble?

Father in heaven, we come to you at this time to understand a little bit more about the time of trouble.

Father, what are the things that we should have at the end of the day?

What are the things that we should have at the end for this time?

Because it's not when it happens that we should learn to do things.

So please help us to get a clear idea, a clear understanding, but also help us to be able to understand and put in practice what we're going to learn today.

Let this be a blessing for every 1 of us and let this moment be a blessing for the 1 who's speaking as well.

All right, who can tell me, for you, when you hear the time of trouble, what do you have in mind?

It's a time where there's a lot of trouble, right?

Alright, if this is the case, so what kind of trouble, what kind of trouble we...

So we heard a lot about time of trouble, right?

But we don't know what it is exactly, what it looks like, when it's going to happen, and how it starts.

And mostly 1 of the things is we know there is a time of trouble coming and it's gonna be real tough.

But let's, I'm gonna try to go throughout this hour, try to cover a couple of things.

And we're gonna try to see 1 story in the Bible that talks about the time of trouble and we're gonna try to grasp a few points that we can apply to our lives and prepare ourselves for this time of trouble so that we may not surprise by it.

So when we talk about, mostly when we talk about the time of trouble, we refer to Jacob's time of trouble, which is found in Genesis 32.

And also, we can apply it to some pictures will connect Jacob's time of trouble with Gethsemane, when Jesus went through this moment of agony in the garden of Gethsemane.

So this is what we can have from the Bible and connect with the time of trouble.

It seems that the time of trouble, it's a time where you and I are going to go through a moment of really, really deep pain, not physical pain, but moral pain.

What I'm trying to say is that we're going to go through a time that we're going to have to decide if we're going to go with this or just let go of it.

We will have to make a decision at that time if we're going to continue to hold on to what we believe or just let go.

So now the question that we can ask ourselves, when is it going to start?

If you are taking notes, you can read Daniel chapter 12 verse 1 all right Daniel chapter 12 verse 1 Wait wait it talks about Michael standing and and and there will be a time that has never been before.

When Michael stands, it means that he's ready to give judgment now, all right?

You have also the story in Acts chapter 7, verse 56, where it's, we're gonna open the Bible, but I'm just gonna try to give you the text.

You can write it down and check it after if you want.

But I'm going to try to move a little bit faster so we can cover everything that we have.

Acts 7 verse 56 when Stephen was thrown to death and he had this vision where the Son of Man was standing at that point.

And we know according to prophecy that at that time God was rejecting the Jews as God's people, now everybody has access to what?

So everybody can be part of God's people.

So when he stands, which means that there is something happening, when he stands, he's ready to give judgment.

When a king stands, which means he's ready to say something, or he has finished on making his decision.

And now, what's going to happen during that time of trouble?

All right, so I'm going to just, we're going to go through some Bible text, we're going to see how it's going to be at the end.

Don't be afraid of that, okay, because after that I'm going to give you some promises too.

Revelation 22 verse 11, he that is unjust let him be unjust still and he which is filthy let him be filthy and he that is righteous let him be righteous still and he that is holy let him be holy still.

So now this is the time when Jesus stand up and say, you know what, let everybody who wants to be unjust, let them be unjust because now, like you said, probation is closed.

So when people are being unjust, those who were unjust and will still be unjust, do you think they're going to be treating you justly?

So we can have a little bit of idea what's going to happen at that time, how people are going to treat each other by this statement that Jesus said.

Now the second text that we're going to go through is Isaiah 26 verse 16 to 21.

So we are going through some texts to see what...

They poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.

Like a woman with child that draweth near the time of her delivery is in pain and crieth out in her...

We have been with child, we have been in pain.

We have, as it were brought forth, when and have not wrought any deliverance in the earth, neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Thy dead men shall live together with thy dead bodies shall they arise, awake and sing, yea, that dwell in death, for thy dew is as the dew of herbs.

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee.

Hide thyself, as it were, for a little moment until the indignation be overpassed." So he's talking about pain of giving birth pain, the delivery that women go through.

Jeremiah 30, And then I'll comment on both of these texts that we just read.

For thus says the Lord, we have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

Ask ye now and see whether a man doth travel with child.

Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness.

Alas, for that day is great, so that none is like it.

It is even the time of Jacob's trouble, But he shall be saved out of it All right.

So so The Bible is talking about a day that Okay 1 question Who went through?

Like the Bible said in verse 6, a man doth travail with trial.

The Bible talks about a man doth travail with trial, which means he's ready to give birth.
