Our Father in heaven, we thank you God for your love.

We thank you for this day you've given to us and for the freedom to worship you in this country and for this conference where service to you is being emphasized, I ask you to God as my father, and in the name of Jesus, my brother, put your words in my mouth, put your spirit in my heart.

Bless the sessions run by other speakers that everywhere something is going on.

Your name may be lifted up and your people blessed.

In Jesus' name, let God's people say, amen and amen.

My presentations will be on the subject of what?

Personal excellence, personal excellence or you can just say excellence.

Now, we tend to reserve religion and religious behavior to Sabbath.

Spirituality is not something you do on Sabbath.

Spirituality is a way of life so that everything you do is an expression of who you are.

LMI says business and religion are the same thing.

Education and religion are the same thing.

Recreation and religion are the same thing.

Let me tell you what they are while you're looking for Ecclesiastes.

Favor number 1, if you have 1 of these, let me set the example.

But in this small session, if you need it for Hello, Wife's writings or something, you may keep it on.

You know, that's the reason why I always say bring a Bible.

You see, when you open this, there's no WhatsApp.

He'll tell you but you have the Bible but you also have WhatsApp, you have email, you have a Viber, you have whatever, Skype.

So that you do not have the temptation to text when you open this except the Bible text.

When you have this, you are surrounded by temptations.

That's why I plead with people of all ages, use this.

You know when God described Job, he said to the devil, has thou considered my servant Job?

There's none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man.

Now here's what God says, 1 that feareth God and escheweth evil.

Avoid 1 of the best ways to resist sin is to avoid That's why I say use this.

Alright, someone with the King James Version reads that verse for us, Nice and loud.

Stand to your feet so the camera can catch you and make you a superstar and read Ecclesiastes 9 verse 10.

Who will stand with courage and read for Jesus?

Some good looking people stand up and read for Jesus.

The Bible says whatsoever thy hand findeth to do.

Now, because we're Christians, it includes everything that's good.

The verse does not mean if you're robbing a bank, do it with all your heart.

It does not mean commit some moral act with all your heart.

Surely, it means the things that please god now whatsoever you do.

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy.

Business Excellence

Our Father in heaven, we thank you so much, dear God, for preserving us up to this point in the day.

As we prepare to get into the third presentation, I pray from my heart, dear God, possess my mind, put your words in my mouth, I pray.

Bless my brothers and sisters, Father, through my words.

Reveal to them what you would have them to know.

I pray for all the other presentations going on.

Oh Father, bless these men as they speak the truth I pray for my heart in Jesus name Amen this afternoon we're talking about what kind of excellence business excellence all right there are many business there are many Christians who run businesses, and I am 1 of those people who tend to believe Christians should run everything.

Genuine Seventh-day Adventists should run everything.

Notice I said what kind of Seventh-day Adventists?

Because if things are run by true children of God things will go well.

So tonight or this afternoon we shall look at business excellence.

Before we do, I wanted to say something to you when I told you to thank God for vision, thank God for hearing, for speech, for mobility, for everything.

The Bible says in 1st Corinthians 10 31, oh by the way, I gave a text today that was wrong and none of you corrected me.

You just sat quietly and let me suffer and said nothing.

I said Psalm 19 7, the heavens declare the glory of God.

You did not want to disturb my flow of thought.

Well please, if I say Genesis 1, 1 says, and I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, please stop me and correct me.

But I just somewhat brought to my attention and I realized yes Psalm 19 1 the heavens declared.

I wish somehow we could put something on the recording that says it's not 19 7 it's 19 1.

Anyway in 1st Corinthians 10 31 the Bible says, whether therefore ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, finish the verse, Do all to the glory of God.

Everything you do and I do should glorify God.

If you study, where's my friend who studied maritime management?

My nurse over here, it should be for the glory of God.

It should, there is nothing you and I should do that should not be for the glory of God.

Your romantic relationships should be for the glory of God.

That is what makes the child of God so strange.

Makes you look like an alien on this earth, which you are.

Because you are functioning with the mind of a heavenly being.

Everything the angels do, they do for the glory of God.

The 4 beasts around the temple of God are the throne.

And so I want you to look at your thinking, your philosophy of life.

I want you to change it and bring it in the direction of the Bible.

And I said, before you dress for church on Sabbath morning, you should pray.

When you stand before that closet, you say, Lord, Guide me in the choice of dress as I prepare to go to your house of worship.

If you did that, you will dress differently.

Because now you're not dressing to outdress somebody else.

You're not dressing to catch somebody's eye, you're dressing to look like a child of God.

Next time you go to the store to buy clothes, you pray first, Father, this is your money.

Haggai 2, verse 8 says, the silver is mine and the gold is mine, said the Lord of hosts.

Help me to buy something that glorifies you.

Let me tell you what has happened to me since I started doing that.

About 3 years ago, maybe less than that, I started praying and asking God, what should I wear when I travel before I go to preach?

And I literally stand at my closet, look at my shirt, shoes, tie.

I said, Father, should I wear this tie or that tie?

And the Spirit may say, wear this tie to travel, wear this 1 to preach.

Let me tell you what has been happening to me since then.

I was at the airport, went to the first contact with customs officials and he said, come Bishop.

He said, it's obvious you're bishop the way you look.

Then he took off his hat, he said, pray for me.

So right at the customs office, I prayed for him.

And I smiled, I said, why do you call me that?

Excellence in Health

The devil knows if he gets you now, most likely he has you for the rest of your life.

You see, the devil and God work the same way.

Let me explain that quickly before I am thrown out of the church.

God advertises the benefits of the gospel.

The devil advertises the benefits of sin.

So he told Eve in Genesis 3, verse 5, For God doth know, in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

The devil advertises the supposed benefits of sin to make it attractive.

God advertises the benefits of the gospel to make it attractive.

The devil believes in brainwashing, by that I mean constantly bombarding you with his messages.

Teach them to your children when you're lying down, when you're rising up, when you're in the way, when you're in the home, just constant bombardment of the word.

In Acts chapter 2 from verse 1, now when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with 1 accord and in 1 place.

When Stephen preaches powerful sermon in Acts chapter 7, the Bible says they rushed on him with 1 accord to kill him and they killed him.

So techniques that work are used both by God and the devil.

I said that to say, God knows the sooner he gets you, the more likely he is to keep you.

The devil knows the sooner he gets you, the more likely he is to keep you.

The question becomes, whom will you allow to get you?

So I just want to tell you the gospel is not for old people.

Yesterday when we spoke about the Amalekites, 1st Samuel 15 3, listen to what God told Saul to do.

Go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have and spare them not.

But slay both man and woman, infant and suckling.

Genesis chapter 19, verse 4, When Lot entertained the angels, the Bible says, but before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, come past the house round, both old and young.

Both old men and young boys came to sodomize the angels.

So if sin can operate in the youth, and it does, Righteousness can operate in the youth.

And I pray that something in this conference in the remaining days will create in you a desire for Spiritual decency, uprightness.

When I was a little boy, I don't know why I'm saying all of this, this is not my presentation.

It was called infridig, which is a short version of infridignitatum.

Infridignitatum is a Latin phrase means beneath my dignity.

So someone says to you or to 1 of us when we were small, let's smoke.

We would say, no, that is infridig, meaning what?

Well, someone says, let's commit fornication.

All princesses, may I see your right hand?

I ask again at the risk of getting a sore throat, are there any princesses present this morning?

May I see your hands, whether they're manicured or not?

I know the hands would go quickly, men are very aggressive.

You know, this is not symbolic, this is literal.

If God is your father and God is king, you are a prince and a princess.

The world may not see that way, but that's the way it is.

Our theme is excellence today, excellence in health.

If you don't need this for any reason, please turn it off.

Even if you need it, because the Bible is on it, you don't need sound.

And please don't go to WhatsApp and whatever else, Safari, and download badminton games.

Is that what Malaysia does very well, badminton?

Aren't you the best in the world at badminton?

Won't get you to heaven though, so Be best in the Word of God.

Okay, favor number 2, while I'm speaking, what should you do?

Spiritual Excellence

Dear Father in heaven, as we look at your Word, dear God, please let your Spirit remain with us.

I ask you once again, dear God, put your words in my mouth.

Isaiah 42, verse 8 says, I am the Lord, that is my name.

So Father, take the glory but give us all the possible blessings.

In Jesus' name we pray, let God's people say, Amen and amen.

Elowite makes a very interesting statement in God's Amazing Grace, page 271, paragraph 2.

And it says this, God requires that his servants should excel others in life and character.

Now put that in your own words, what did I just say?

God desires or requires that his servants excel others in life and character.

Put it in your own words, English of course, and tell me what you understand.

God desires, requires that we be the best.

We excel others in life and in character.

The Adventist educational system should excel every other educational system on the face of the earth.

The Adventist health system should excel every other health system.

The Adventist family structure should excel every other family structure.

The Adventist economic system should be more sound than any other economic system.

We should excel others in life, everything that makes up life and in character.

1 of the blessings God promises to those who obey Him is that you shall be the head only and not the tail.

The head only, which means in everything you will be above.

It's Christian service, page 254, paragraph 2.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets.

For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, 1 jot or 1 tittle shall in no wise pass from the Lord till all be fulfilled.

Whosoever therefore shall break 1 of these least commandments and shall teach men, so he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.

For verily I say unto you, unless or except, the King James Version, Your righteousness shall do what?

Exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case.

Jesus says, if your level of righteousness does not exceed, You cannot be saved.

Now is God setting us up for competition?

But clearly God has a standard for us that is so high that no other standard is higher.

Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the tribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

You have heard that it was said by them of all time, what?

And whoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment.

But I say unto you that whosoever is angry with his brother shall be in danger of?

And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raka, shall be what?

And whosoever shall say thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

I want you to make a connection between verse 20 and 21 and 22.

I say unto you, accept your righteousness does what?

What Christ is doing when he says, Ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill, and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of judgment.

But I say unto you, whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment.

And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raka, shall be in danger of the council.

And whosoever shall say thou fool shall be in danger of hell fire.

Jesus said, you have heard the saying thou shalt not kill.

For the Pharisees that meant don't kill how?

For the Pharisees how do you think they understood that verse, thou shalt not kill?

Now is it good to not kill people physically?

Steps to Success

Now you cannot prevent yourself from exerting an influence.

The moment someone sees you, you are influencing that person for good or for bad.

Allah says everyone who goes to heaven will have to take someone with him, there are no starless crowns in heaven.

She also says, everyone who's lost will cause at least 1 other person to be lost.

And so we must be conscious of the fact that by the lies we live, we either point people to heaven or we point them to hell.

It's a very very serious realization that if you make it to heaven, someone else will make it there because of you, whether you know it or not.

And if you're lost, someone else will be lost because of you.

Then we have to choose, Lord, by your grace, let me so live my life that someone will be saved because of me.

Before I begin, remember, if you need your phone, you may leave it on, but don't put any sound.

If you don't need it, and I much prefer you have 1 of these, then just turn it off and I'll be pleased.

I only heard something go off once, I think was yesterday, somewhere over this side, And I hope that person repented.

The second favor I ask is that you pray for me and you simply say, Lord put your words in that man's mouth.

Loving Father in heaven, we come to you, dear God, because we have no 1 else to go to who can do for us what you're willing and able to do.

As we bow in your presence, dear God, if we've sinned against you, forgive us, we pray.

He is the spirit of truth, and 1 of his functions is to guide us into truth.

Take possession of my mind as I humble myself before you.
