I want to thank Pastor McKee for his introduction and for his welcome to San Antonio.

And I want to say to each of you, Happy Sabbath to everyone here in San Antonio And to all those who are watching on 3ABN, we're delighted to have such a fine supporting ministry as 3ABN, broadcasting God's precious message all over the world.

We're grateful for all of our media ministries, whether they're supporting or part of the church.

You know, in a few weeks, I will be working very closely with Pastor McKee, and in fact, we're working together closely right now, because we're going to be participating in an enormous evangelistic meeting in Harare, Zimbabwe.

In fact, it is so large and so comprehensive that I can't really even understand how all the details are being taken care of because it is massive.

We're going to have many, many evangelistic sites all over that great city, the capital of Zimbabwe.

A number of people are coming from this country and elsewhere.

Pastor McKee is coordinating much of that in conjunction with the union there.

The union is planning to hold simultaneous meetings in major cities across that great country of Africa, Zimbabwe.

And on May 30, at the end of the evangelistic meetings, and it will be my privilege and Nancy's to participate, to preach every night for these evangelistic meetings, many different sites, At the end of that week, or that those 2 weeks, the union is planning, by God's grace, through the endeavor of church members all across that country, The participation of every aspect, including health and every other endeavor, small groups, to baptize on May 30, all across Zimbabwe, 30, 000 people.

I want to tell you, brothers and sisters, we are living at the end of time.

We are now at the very point wherein Daniel 2, when that rock is about to come down and smash the statue, we are at the very end tips of the 10 toes.

We are living at a time when the world is crumbling around us and God's church is falling into place.

Yes, we have challenges even within the church.

The devil tries to bring in mistrust, anger, challenges, but I want to tell you God's church is measuring up to what he wants it to do in the final days, and the pathway to health, your best pathway to health is a dynamic part of it.

We are seeing God's work move in such a dramatic way, and I am absolutely thrilled to be a small part of it.

I want to thank Elder Moore and his team of the Southwestern Union for hosting you here at this very special event.

You know, the last 4 days or so that you have been involved in this very dynamic activity has been a lesson to the entire world church.

You have been carrying on the love of God through Christ's method alone.

Your selfless, Christ-like effort and contribution to the health and well-being of approximately, well, let me give you the exact number of course, 6, 192 people in the wonderful city of Antonio is a phenomenal success based on Christ's method of reaching people.

You know, actually, we've been blessed so much this morning already.

Natasha gave us such a heartwarming appeal.

Natasha, I don't know where you're sitting, but you should never shortchange yourself as a public speaker.

And I want to tell you, every young person, and I'm proud of the fact that she is president of GYC, a wonderful supporting organization of the church, young people who are dynamically involved in presenting the 3 Angels' messages in a practical way, and that is what you have done here.

My close colleague and friend and associate, Pastor Mark Finley, who spoke to you last night, who's going to speak to you tonight, has kept us informed as to what has been happening here in San Antonio.

Unfortunately, right now we are in the midst of our spring meeting of the Executive Committee of the General Conference, And so I've had many, many meetings.

But I want to tell you, on Wednesday morning, I shared a voice message from Pastor Finley with all the division presidents and our vice presidents in our presidential council, a direct report of what was happening here, the long lines, the people who are being blessed.

We've seen what God has done in this incredible event.

And that is a prelude to what Pastor Finley and many others are going to be participating in and I will have the privilege of participating as well here in San Antonio in the month of June just prior to the General Conference session, when God's word will be preached in all of its power through the Holy Spirit right here in this great city.

And pathways, pathway to health, your best pathway to health, is doing exactly what God has intended.

It is the key that is opening the door to people's hearts through practical Christ-like ministry.

You see, God has blessed in the tests and the treatments that you have provided in the last few days.

He's worked through each of you to bring encouragement in your prayers, in your smiles, in the hope that you have given to people as you have counseled thousands of people, not only with analytical evaluations, treatment plans, healthy lifestyle habits, but also with social and spiritual advice for a healthier and more abundant life in Jesus Christ.

And on behalf of the World Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

I want to thank Mayor Ivy Taylor and her colleagues in Metro Health, other various departments and services, and hospital systems in the San Antonio area for the incredible cooperation and partnership shown through the amazing Your Best Pathway to Health event.

And Mayor Taylor will be with you this afternoon.

All in all, there are more than 150 sponsoring entities for this enormous event.

And without your integral involvement and participation, This event never would have become what God has produced through you, a blessing to thousands of people in this city of San Antonio.

And I'm delighted that representatives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide, around this globe, will be descending on San Antonio in July for our Quinquennial General Conference session.

In fact, we'll be using this facility and the large dome in which you are participating.

And what an introduction your best pathway to health has been to our session for this summer.

And to the mayor and to those who have given so graciously of their time to try to make this happen within the city, I need to tell each of you that when I recently spent a day here in San Antonio kind of casing the place out, learning about the physical environment, that those who were leading us here in the convention and dome staff were exceptional in their hospitality and service.

We look forward to being here in just, really, a few weeks.

But church members and friends who have been responsible for this absolutely incredible Your Best Pathway to Health event.

On behalf of the General Conference and the World Church, I want to thank all of you.

God has worked through you in an unbelievable way and I praise his name.

You see, in particular, I want to thank some of the very important partners.

I praise God for this organization that is helping our people in this country, in this division, and around the world in so many various ways.

The Southwestern Union of Seventh-day Adventists, our host here in this territory.

The Texas Conference, the Southwest Region Conference, Adventist Health Systems, and thank you for their contribution and their involvement in this massive event.

The Central Texas Adventist Medical Center, the North American Division and its Health Ministries Department.

Our General Conference Health Ministries Department, Dr.

Landless is here, and so many others have been part of this incredible event.

Scores of supporting ministries and organizations who have been instrumental in helping to organize this life-changing event for literally thousands of people here in San Antonio.

And I am particularly grateful, And these are not organizations, these are people.

I am particularly grateful to the hundreds of health professionals and church members from here in San Antonio who have given, donated their time, their Christian love in service to others.

May God bless you as you return to wherever your residence is.

But remember, you have left the footprints of Jesus on the soil of San Antonio.

Without people like that and many others who have been cooperating with them, this event would never have been possible.

Incidentally, we just spent a marvelous week last month at the General Conference at our headquarters when we have our annual week of prayer at the General Conference itself.

It's a time when people are not supposed to travel.

It's a time when we're to be together to listen to God's Word.

And we were privileged to emphasize comprehensive health ministry, medical missionary work.

Neil Nedley with us from Weimar Institute, who shared with us in a very powerful way comprehensive health messages based on biblical, spirit of prophecy, and current scientific literature information.

You see, we believe in comprehensive health ministry, in medical missionary work.

All of us, as church entities, as supporting ministries, need to blend together in this heavenly work of following Christ's example.

I want to thank you for your strong commitment to pointing people to the Master Physician, His plan for our lives, and His soon Second Coming.

And what a privilege, by God's grace, to be alive in the final days of Earth's history and the culmination of the Advent movement.

As discussions take place on the national and international level about health care delivery, Seventh-day Adventists have something powerful to share in bringing physical and spiritual wholeness to the world.

God's plan of restoration involves living an abundant life right now and the ultimate plan to restore all of us physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

God calls us to live this message and to share it.

Each of us is to reach the world through Christ's loving kindness and a complete plan of total health that points to the 1 who provides abundant living.

Jesus said in John 10, 10, I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly as Seventh-day Adventist we believe in the whole person Concept in ministering to people by bringing abundant life through comprehensive health Ministry, you See that's our term that we use now in a broad way around the world within the Seventh-day Adventist Church, meaning complete true medical missionary work.

Let me tell you, it is so gratifying as I travel around, as I listen to what is happening, people are catching the vision.

This is not a vision of administrators, this is not a vision of the general conference, This is a vision of God through his biblical and spirit of prophecy counsel.

You see, this is precisely what you and I are to be doing and what you have been doing since Wednesday, and what many of you are doing in your own local communities.

God declares in 3 John verse 2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers.

Long before the current promotion of whole person health, God, the creator of the human race and everything good in this world, declared that he wanted us to be healthy, to be revived and reformed through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are complex creatures, made in his image on the sixth day of a literal seven-day creation week that happened recently.

Today is the very same Sabbath of the seventh day Sabbath cycle that capped the creation week And that is why we are worshiping God today because this is the only day He has asked us to worship Him in terms of it being a day of worship.

No other day was blessed or sanctified or made holy except this day.

Yes, we worship God all the time, but on 1 day we give Him the honor and glory because He created us not only once, but He recreates in our hearts a new heart of flesh.

You see, our loving Creator wants us to be in the best of health and prosper our relationship with Him and service to others in a loving, caring ministry following Christ's example.

We read about his successful method in reaching people.

It was read to us in our scripture this morning, Matthew 9, verses 35 through 38.
