Byron Smith grew up on a small homestead farm in northern British Columbia. His 29 years of career farming have been divided between an academy in northern BC, Sunizona Family Farms in Arizona, and an academy in Michigan. The Smiths have a passionate to share sustain-able organic farming methods with families and schools, and see it as an ideal means of ministering in local communities.
