Cameron Fraser my wife plays the ravens right now is Avon Park Florida I've been there for about four years over there is my wife Emily and my ten month old son Henry were trying to train up write them on the front row every meeting every church service that there is a very privileged to be here with you very honored to be here with you this morning last evening at the introduction Ellie Kim mentioned that Satan has been trying to distract the and to discourage us and try to dissuade us from our purpose here during our time together FYI I want to let you know this that's absolutely true last evening my friend what yesterday afternoon my friend Matt is herewith is also today I pray the Lord for that it came from Lincoln Nebraska he started at Omaha I think it was six fifteen a.m. if uncorrected flight was supposed to leave and there were some storms and got diverted to Chicago got delayed impact of the board and the board three different planes so his plane was supposed to come in Orlando at one p.m. last night I got a text message as I was waiting in the stelae at two forty three a.m. in Orlando that he had finally arrived the planes admittedly I get here safely and we drove two hours back so we got a couple hours of sleep last night and I know that this is all part of Satan 's plan to distract us to discourage or dissuade us from our purpose but I believe the Lord has something bigger in mind and what they can and it so today we want to do something powerful we want to come together and humbly study guide for performing it briefly a word of prayer and the movie started during the father I thank you so much for the opportunity of Christian Fellowship I thank you for the privilege of prayer and the opportunity to study your word together asking a special way that you bless our time here together led to be fruitful and apply our minds our hearts what healthy a bigger better picture of you so we can be more like you every day for Elvis in Jesus name amen our talk this morning is entitled the great object of life the great object of life you will need your Bibles and if you have some pens and paper that we find your takes notes on what I will share with you hopefully idea in fact every day my goal is to share what idea that might expand a concept you already have in your head I would take a new visiting your head and hopefully by the grace of God the truth of his Word through the guidance of the spirit of prophecy were going to large your boss okay bigger boxes what we want I was born and raised within a dentist I went to create roll just like my fund is now I thought the bells on the board you remove the belt though if I come to start things working against our country up images if you relate to what I'm saying your aunt felt on the board get the sing-along Sabbath songs you handled my Bible friend Zeno and innuendo storytime the morning and the evening uncle Arthur uncle Danny assume all these names ring bells okay I want to know that I have a picture planted in my mind a good picture of the right picture in the earliest age that there was one time a place called the garden of where need right and in the pictures in the storybook cinema felt boards and in the Sabbath school classroom there was the exact same picture shown to represent the garden of the day there was always the man and his wife and there is the lion and the lamb laying down together and remember there's always that all rippling brook because I go through the garden of the blue blue sky the green rolling hills and Adam is just the man right he's just standing there and he's of course unclouded Jeff exposed his broad mass of majestic man always kind of happy yet exactly like that Henry the in the family bazaar like that but have a pleasant godly look on his face I got it handed the bird which ended in life diving into this picture to serene beautiful picture on the other end of the Bible of course there's another picture identical to that same picture with him if the kingdom of heaven the line of lamb or laying down together the green rolling hills the calm blue waters bright blue sky and the sun only difference is glad with white row of gold crown but I had ended in Emerald City in the background of both buyers and shining shimmering right I believe that's the right thing to do we should put those pictures and our kids that is the youngest week and we need to start getting them into this idea of the great controversy of business start and finish from being established to in restored and in fact that's what the Bible basically tells us this is probably old news to you but the first two chapters of the Bible talk about the establishment of God 's original ideal to Garden of Eden the last two chapters of the Bible talk about God 's restoration of that ideal in the new heaven and a new earth the new even if you will even established and eaten it restored to all of us have that picture are mine I hope you do at least at this point and I'm guessing you grew up with those pictures on the Billboard made a framework in our brains it was the ark that are clean we saw there was the one time there was that place and someday they'll be the other place even established Eden restored when we started once we started learning the Bible more we started filling in the framework as to what happens wildly varying boy why hasn't this would come yet we know that Adam or transgression and disobedience to God 's law lost the Garden of Eden for us appraisal or we know that Jesus Christ through his redemption his shed blood of atonement for us I is going to star in fourth and so we start to build on that framework was established in our minds and here's my thought everything I said absolutely believe that I think is the right thing to present I think we should present it at the youngest ages and frameworks to guide the rest of our lives although it's absolutely true that we locked in because of Adam and we'll get you back because of Jesus exclusive focus on these object of external historical facts leaves us with a gaping hole in our religious experience namely what do I do now because were not living in the garden of Eden as it was originally established and were not in the new birth yet is clear that are you in agreement with so we find ourselves living between in law and in restored to know what I mean the most common answer why are we still here what is his life for the purpose of our life was the great object of life the most common if you'll probably get a something along the lines of this life on probation exists to give you an opportunity to make a decision for or against Jesus and you have a life so that you can choose for Christ or if you will against him but does life exist to make that decision for Christ but here's my thought for today that still leaves a gaping hole from the moment you make the decision to the time Jesus comes back and actually delivers us that new Eden home or we die in that help so there's a decision point I made my decision for Jesus Christ probably that the rate of twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen write about this meeting age right here I think the defense by thinking that you haven't anything that we do now there's a gap between a decision for Christ and even your death or his appearance that gap is called the rest of your life now that you made your decision for Christ now what know what you do in a sermon at the nineteenth oh two General conference session Mrs. White coin the phrase pause right here parenthetically I'm going to beast citing references to the spirit of prophecy often the Bible has about seven hundred fifty thousand words of Mrs. White's writings of about twenty five million day I understand that this place full of seventy hundred young people talk about that adenosine and ominously using the words of our Seventh-day Adventist messenger of the Lord I'm not apologizing this explaining that nothing stays in contradiction or superiority were even equality with the Bible 's Jesus more verbose and these words princes this phrase in nineteen oh two general proposition is a white coin the term in the following year she included it in a little book called the book called education the term is respectable conventionality respectable conventionality of think if you put in the C Romulan five fortieths respectable conventionality I really like that term it basically refers to young people educated in Adventist schools would go on to be good people as far as the world is concerned but who lack the genuine spirit of sacrificial service for Christ in their lives Francis after quoting Mark chapter sixteen verse fifteen where the great commission and you will you all the world and preach the gospel to every creature she writes these words in view of this command can we educate our sons and daughters for a life of respectable conventionality which he defined that a life profound definitely Christian but lacking his self-sacrifice a life on which the verdict of him who is truth must be I know you're not busy said thousands are doing this they think to secure for their children the benefit of the gospel while they deny its spirit and the benefits without the self-sacrificing spirit but this cannot be those reject the privilege of fellowship with Christ in service reject the only training that imparts a witness unique keyword a fitness for participation with him in his glory they reject the training that in this life gives strength and nobility of character employment education page two sixty four and then got asserted this day and age a life of respectable conventionality probably look something like this just taking a ballpark guess this might be an average middle-of-the-road what you relate perhaps to what I'm about to say it probably goes like this you don't want to become some apostate backslider and risk losing your salvation right you don't want to dive off the deepening the way back so you begun you don't smoke don't drink don't get a tattoo anything that nonsense with him Dennis losing back to probably attend church regularly Christian Braff with education human area correspondingly beef and spouse get a stable job but practically nothing flashy but not to junkie car any rate happy babies do the life of healthy moderation in all things for the and health risk you don't eat unclean meats and you only eat the healthiest meats you don't start you know strict vegetarianism though it especially negative and you want to be extremist respectable but conventional sports worlds concert in your use of money you can return as often as is possible your faithful ten percent don't overdo the offerings enough family to care for mission work you give generously and courteously for the child to ask for help going on a two-week mission trip to Mexico admission worked speculating upon every three years and I volunteered to chaperone where the strips mission service give until it hurts you're sure to pray for but never actually consider becoming an advertisement to your missionary entertainment you want to very few if any R-rated movies are very selective about which one to watch in a nonprofit Genie altogether of course going to be extended but you limit the number of hours you watch it each day spirituality you don't want to get caught up you're absolutely ugly and some like emergent church no mumbo-jumbo spiritual walking the prayer labyrinth interlining your infants can you knew no better than that was on the other hand a thoughtful hour each day in contemplation of the life of Christ weekly prayer meeting with other believers daily personal Bible study consistently studying the Sabbath will poorly so that when you go to send school if you go to school prepared annually go overboard dumping extremist evangelism you hope and you pray earnestly for the evangelist success when he comes in the fall but you want to go overboard when the meeting be one of those literature handing out type of people I meet in the back reminder thinking don't they know the scientific study to show you new lease five to ten years of slow as you will friendship before your ever allowed to bring up God conversation you don't ever you swear words good maybe the occasional veggies where you know those sounds like typical rents where words or alphabet swears really for the first letter but you never ever ever ever ever under any circumstance think the Lord 's name in a you know not to do that effectiveness of our unity mentioned Lord 's name in any context he completely taken out of your dialogue altogether because you don't want to be one of those people need to have a just a normal conversation about money or politics or anything inundating whenever life without having to bring God 's will into the mix it will be one of those people the respectable dimensionality be careful of the flight Internet extremist lifestyle because as we've been told repeatedly one you can't be perfect in fact number two if you live your life in such a way that you even appears the year ending for perfection your legalist and then you lose your salvation because of your works righteousness C economy Catch-22 isn't too bad if you can find it law someone being good enough to make sure I'm not lost but not but still bad enough to know that it's only by grace then say respectable conventionality fictitious middle ground we low ourselves that occupying have to make a decision for Christ with the restaurants that want to challenge you think a bigger phone with voice and I want us to consider the possibility that salvation God 's plan of redemption entails more than merely the restoration of the evening for us that we had this idea that life after you make a decision for Christ to the passive waiting room unit about your daily routine because of respectively conventional window had passively waiting for Jesus to come and finish his work and bring me a new place to live they waiting for God to restore even for us perhaps his plan of salvation is in fact the complete restoration of the image of God within us by completing the father bold links are I have come to believe that the whole reason the Bible was written the entire purpose of Christ's ministry in all what is the only reason our life exists is that Oscar had not just get us to heaven those in big ways I know but again I believe we have inspired support book education against it one twenty five again if the Bible was written for this purpose with the rewards the central theme of the Bible the theme about which every other in the whole book clusters is the redemption plan obviously which even with them and defined as the restoration in the human soul of the image of God by just getting into heaven but spending you for Heather and goes on from the first intimation of hope in the sentence pronounced in the evening to the last glorious promise of the revelation the burden of every book in every passage of the Bible is the unfolding of this wondrous thing man's uplifting the power of God which given that the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ that we does the whole reason the Bible was written to highlight this theme the restoration of the image of God and man Christ ministered by the way this with its central purpose Sybase page thirty seven Jesus came to restore in man the image of his maker none but Christ can fashion a new the character before that word a couple times a character lock in your break even in a bookshop to be accessing it none the Christ confession anew the character that has been ruined by sin he came to expel the demons that control the will he came to lift lift us up from the desk to reshape the enlarged character after the pattern of his divine after and make good character beautiful with his glory fondled with education page for late great planet redemption of a fallen race was brought out in the life of Christ in human flesh this scheme of restoring the moral image of God and debased humanity entered into every purpose of the life and character of Christ Christ triumphant page thirty three the Lord Jesus came to strengthen every earnest thinker for truth to reveal the father he allow nothing to divert his mind from the great work of restoring some men and women the moral image of God okay so the central theme of the Bible the purpose it was written with the cheesy Disney the whole purpose of Jesus life and ministry was to live out this theme to make this possible the restoration of the image of God and man so that must mean that our purpose in life was discontinuing the fact that last quote disbelieves right over the next thing you continue to benefit instead every human agent must be that the great and important work for them in this life is to receive the divine likeness to prepare a character for future life in this price rampant page thirty three so this is the central theme of our life not just of the Bible not just a Christlike industry but our life this is the object of our life and death another good reason to come out in the morning is the purpose of life and go about your day Christian education page sixty four same as Martin well-nigh obliterated the image of God and man it was to restore this the plan of salvation was devised in the life of probation was granted the man to bring man back to the perfection and she was first created in the great object of life the object that underlie every other your reason for existence is not just to get you into heaven but if the thing you in character for heaven and finally got it on page one sixty nine one since the glory of God the perfection of Christian character by the way glory and character are equated their rebuild on at the moment the glory of God the perfection of Christian character is to be the aim the purpose of our life they don't glory equals image equals character throughout the writings that of Mrs. White nothing really see the Scripture unfolds this is well bit glory is equated with character 's request is equated with the image of God Torah Bible Genesis chapter one verses twenty six and twenty seven genetically is unique this is chapter one verses twenty six and twenty seven this is where we can eavesdrop on the Lord 's conversation which interestingly enough of the conversation he 's holding with himself Jesus ever one percent twenty six and twenty seven then God said let what make men how in our image in our likeness let them have dominion over the fish of the sea over the birds of the air over the cattle over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth so in execution of that plan so God created man in his own image in the image of God he created is the main emerging image image image likeness image God created man in his own image in the image of God he created them male and female the creating them I've heard good sermon before well-intentioned people say powerful thing that made me think that humanity with significant humanity was unique because God formed us from the dust of the earth before that before here's a special document informed you of the deciliter belligerently dead that what makes human unique now without we know that just as consumers nineteen says the Lord God formed all the other animals out of the dust of the ground okay your specialist travel but that's not know enough yet the we were given the command to be fruitful and multiply which is really where the television the birds before we were in existence we were given the very breath of life which is absolutely true but according to Genesis chapter six and Chapter seven all the other animals had the breath of life in them as well humanity 's sole uniqueness among all the creatures of this are was not their formation the rest of the ground or the breath of life or their ability to reproduce their reflection of the image of God was their sole uniqueness there created in the image of God which begs the question what does that mean it we often think of image you know it's like well you are on the legs and feet I believe the Lord has those things where Moses was hidden in the cleft of the rocket and he laughed you can see the back parts of it and it lifts off part of his body and we all have a good show it means more than recently look like God there is something deeper about it within a song some a contact book of songs some eight him him him him likely pondering the same thought versus forty five look at man to think of the significance he says in Psalm eight versus five what if a man that you are mindful of him and the Son of Man that you visit him for you have made him a little lower than the angels and have crowned him with what glory and honor we were crowned with glory which again what does that mean what the glory meet with me the crowns of glory to be in the image of God crowned with glory what is glory and I think of glory I think of you were given should be no whiteboard with somatic markers and stuff or hope dry erase markers in your asked to draw glory what would you do know you probably like that yellow or orange or something in a bright red and start just scribbling on the board I shot at glory rightly think of shimmery shiny sparkling dabbling all the sensor is the sound for glory and exist after three new quick with his exit seven three Moses first encounter with the Lord in the burning bush notice the transition here chapter three verses five and six the book of Exodus then he said do not go near this place take your sandals offer the place for you stand is holy ground moreover he said I am the God of your father the God of vibrant Abraham got an Isaac and the God of Jacob and Moses and his face why is he was afraid to look at we know about the date uniformity also known as they will look directly at this glory of God that iTunes exit is chapter three of course we know that Moses become the mouthpiece of the Lord kind of kicking and screaming a little bit along the way but God starts to work with Moses source of training up with the leader they can stand courageously records of Pharaoh give millions of hundreds of thousands of neither couple million friends Jews and end the mixable data following out of the exit is an exit separate up and he goes out and you comes the leader the people and the people are stubborn hardhearted mean and cruel I don't like and I want to go back to on a frustrating know whenever you're going to frustrate experience a hard time in life your parents they all it is building what character word Moses had a learning curve on character right this was the cowardly murderer who ran away for forty years but now the Lord appears and all of his radiant glory the Lord God I love you will see thirty chapters later after he leads the people out after these the miracles of God after he sees the provision of God for his people in fact and exits after thirty two when the people disobeyed God and make the golden image that golden calf in a worship before Moses apparently has become so Christlike that he is willing to lay down his own life in the stead of those stubborn people got has been building in him character so now good as the Chapter thirty three thirty chapters later from the Moses who hid from the face of God look we find an exit chapter thirty three starting with verse eighteen and he said please show me your what Lorrie Shaw landlord at the request of memory is the highest-rated and what is the undoubtedly please tell me out with the only closer with it more clearly understand we show me your glory verse nineteen then he said I will make all of my work next work on this path before you Moses after the gods what and God showed him all of his goodness and equivalent to set up the glory of God is the goodness of God please and I will make all my goodness pass before you and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you just like he had done at an end the environment of a bush right things that I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and I want compassion on whom I will have compassion but he said you cannot be my face for no man could be my favorite live palliative is the most of the wood door I definitely got a look in his face or neck this chapter three he was terrified that he might look at his face the guy needs to be afraid of now he can't get enough of something is changing is likely back to go to the next efforts at seven thirty four look at verses six and seven God granted his request exits after thirty four and the Lord passed before him and proclaimed the Lord the Lord God merciful and gracious long-suffering and abounding in goodness and truth all of these are traits of character keeping mercy for thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and fan does all the forgiveness of long-suffering mercy but at the same time and by no means clearing the guilty somehow this is the glory of God is his character is long-suffering if patient is merciful tender anything kind of balance with justice he said that Moses is my glory for my glorious sunlit side of him at three nineteen oh two glory of God is his character is pretty easy glory of God is his character when Moses with an amount earnestly interesting link with God he prayed I bcc show me thy glory is not declared I will make all my goodness pass before the I will proclaim the name of the Lord before the will be graciously let me gracious I was on mercy on whom I will show mercy to the glory of God that is character was then revealed Jamaican equivalence between the glory of God and the character of God Man was originally created to be a reflection of the divine character of Christ the creature made in the image of God exertion profits page forty five Christ alone is the express image of the father but man was born in the likeness of God as he tells us what that means his nature was in harmony with the will of God his mind was capable of comprehending divine things his affections were Georgia's appetites and passions were under the control of reason he was holy and happy in bearing the image of God and in perfect obedience to his will that's what was lost at the fall being cast out of the garden having increased pay and sweaty toil in the grounds even losing access to the tree of life all of those things were merely the result of the real loss the real loss with the loss of the image of God and man is what I believe in God is bigger than his re-creating a perfect sinless environment around with it in which we can dwell morning creating a perfect environment where we can dwell his ultimate goal is the restoration of perfect sinless character within us in which the Holy Spirit indwelling and he doesn't want to just make a new he wants to make you knew how in the world is as possible how can we go past conventional respectable conventionality beyond is making decisions and living life and accrediting subway Romans chapter three verse twenty three very clearly says all have stand and come short of what the glory of God finally it was nice another glory 's character is that of just shiny and I never understand that that's not always then come short of the shiny about with me but if the glory of God is his character Vince then mars that image and thus we fall short of the glory of God our sin makes us fall short of the glory of God the praise the Lord Paul not only tells us what our problem is that he explains the solution we can actually be restored Romans chapter five you would promise after five notices progression of thought starting with verse one therefore having been justified by faith we had these with God through our Lord Jesus Christ justification a decision for Christ that letting your light up and gives you peace with God instantaneously but it doesn't end with a period there day lucrative entirety therefore having been justified by faith we have peace with God or Lord Jesus Christ through whom we also have some more than just a decision for Christ more than just justification through him we also have access by faith into this grace which wheezes in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory God we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God what Paul means by that person and not only that we don't bully also glory in tribulations knowing that tribulation produces perseverance locations and First American character and character hope why later on with a crisis in you is the whole of glory character formed within verse five now hope does not disappoint because the love of God is been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us not through our own efforts but the agency of the Holy Spirit God has promised that the character of Christ can be reproduced and falling second Corinthians chapter three verse a famous family member the great object of the Bible essential being that which every passage revolves the underlying theme of every passage of Scripture is this restoration concept that when Paul was writing with that segment segment is chapter three verse eighteen says but we all with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord are being what the word change or transform and soon the same image from glory to glory from glory to glory even just as by the spirit of the Lord is interesting look up Mrs. White's reference to second for this chapter three verse eighteen anytime you have an opportunity of oftentimes you will be used to put that in quotations just like the entire passage but inside of the quotation of Scripture she puts brackets and right next to from glory to glory sequence from character to character she equates it so harm on so hopefully this human early insert that right next to Lloyd Lloyd she bracketed that means character to character just in case you missed that concept into me from Jim to shinier me from character to character by the Holy Spirit not by your own work by Christ working within in Christ's humanity which we are supposed to follow is a pattern in all things in Christ humanity he so accurately reflect the father 's glory that he can constantly make bold assertions are deleted in John fourteen verse nine he who has seen me has seen the father proliferated by the holding we become changed words are found in Scripture the principle is that if the rent is creating the phrase isn't found in Scripture by beholding to become changed however with the white repeatedly often uses that phrase Wednesday comment on second his chapter three verse eighteen and each and every time she uses the phrase is in the context of developing within us the character of Christ what's this closely correspond to question three fifty five looking unto Jesus we obtain a brighter and we became brighter and more distinct views of God and by the holding we become changed goodness love for our fellow man becomes our natural instinct we develop character which is the counterpart of the divine character again be met by the holding we become changes the review and Herald August four eighteen ninety one by beholding to become change through close study and earnest contemplation of the character of Christ his image is to be reflected in our own live a higher tone is imparted to the spirituality of the church not a rhetorical question but have you ever been frustrated a low level of spirituality in the church Palin the remedy is enough or just somebody to contemplate the character Chrysler for you diligently studied and contemplate the character of Christ and by doing so you become transformed into his image reflected those around it the truth of God seven feminists getting heading home here okay if the truth of God has not transformed our character into the likeness of Christ all are perfect knowledge of him and the truth is not a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal if you got all the truth without the character pointless God 's amazing grace page two ninety as we make Christ our daily companion we shall field of the powers of an unseen world are all around us something starts to work by beholding uncertain by looking unto Jesus we shall become assimilated to his image by beholding me become changed the character is softened refined and in noble for the heavenly kingdom I fear the seventh at many some of them is to become comfortable between the two evenings they'll understand this world is not my home this is home content with being respectably conventional citizens of this world my friends the Lord is calling us to a higher standard to prepare our characters for citizenship in a better home we put it another way in our Christian experience we need to shift our focus from a fading transaction to a saving train formation okay maybe go get our minds saving transaction to saving transformation when you dwell less upon the certainty of our salvation and more upon the character of our Savior aiming higher by the way we start to talk about higher higher higher in a higher higher standard higher ideals is probably remind you one single sentence in the writings of Mrs. White and education higher than the highest human thought can reach is God 's ideal for his children I heard this over and over but nobody memorizes the next sentence what is that higher ideal we just know it's higher but how I Winnebago this is the next godliness God likeness is the goal to be reached our focus needs to shift from getting into actually fitting in to the kingdom of heaven when Paul writes about beholding her becoming transformed into the same image from glory to glory he literally means that our characters by the Holy Spirit are being molded we molded recess and reform as if the Lord is stepping down into this cursed dust and reforming it into his image second Corinthians chapter four verses sixteen to eighteen therefore do not lose heart even though our outward man is perishing yet the inward man is being renewed day by day for our light affliction which is which is but for a moment isn't working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory this is going to be key as we go later through the week but the one thing that you can take with you to heaven is your character the one eternal thing that you have here is nothing a diamond forever is a lie and it is not forever the only thing is forever in Jesus Christ and his character for our light affliction which is but for a moment is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory for the things which are seen are temporary but the things which are not seen are eternal Colossians chapter one starting with verse twenty four I now rejoice in my sufferings for you and Philip in my flesh with lacking the afflictions of Christ for the sake of his body which is the church first twenty five of which I become a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you to fulfill the word of God verse twenty six the ministry which has been hidden from ages and from generations but now has been revealed to his things to make no I'm sorry to them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles which is the reverse of this mystery is getting known industry was being made known which is Christ in you know the whole of what glory they put it so simply if you have any hope of seeing the glory of God you need to have Christ in you him we preach warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus to this end I also labor striving according to his working which were works in me mightily everybody etc. whichever five tribulation builds perseverance perseverance builds character and character builds hope and hope does not disappoint because the love of God is important our hearts by the Holy Spirit was given to us after the apostles page four seventy six through the power of Christ men and women have broken the chains of sinful habit him renounce selfishness profane have become reverent drunk and sober the profligate fewer sold and borne the likeness of Satan have become transformed into the image of God this change is in itself a means miracle of miracles a change wrought by the word it is one of the deepest mysteries of the word of God we cannot understand we can only believe that the cleared by the Scriptures that it is Christ in you the hope of glory and he can comment on that one text he says what responsibility visit review and Herald April fifteen eighteen eighty four what responsibility is this a work is here brought to view it is more laborious than merely preaching the word which are going to get into tomorrow I will you think about this overnight what is the work that we always talk about getting finished okay will pick up tomorrow morning notice when responsibility is a work is in front of you that is more laborious than merely preaching the word it is to represent Christ in our character to be living epistles known and read of all men finally Romans chapter eight verse eighteen instructor a inverse eighteen Paul speaking here for I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us in fact he goes on to say this as we wrap it around for introduction for the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits the revealing of the sons of God this was break this touchdown the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glow Ari is not a character which shall be revealed where in the shingle on the paper the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly wait for the revealing of the sons of God is the glory of God is not merely to be someday revealed in the clouds of heaven or on the eastern sky and and and you know that cloud but the man had coming in get more more right-click the half with a glorious primarily three revealed to the world glory of God to be revealed to the world through you in fact he goes on to say the creation is waiting for often manifest the glory of God in our lives all this time I thought I was waiting for the company made no come to find out they are waiting for me to be made new to see the difference when I passively waiting for God to get his act together and come get me to take me back to eating perhaps God is waiting maybe move longing desire scared reproduced in his people somehow as it brings to a close somehow Satan has gotten us to consider Christianity as a mere saving transaction instead of the saving transformation which is much more glorious in its nature the grace of Jesus Christ entails not to start getting into heaven but are fitting into heaven if you came here is my appeals very simple there's nothing to be tearjerking noumena were change your mind along distinct differently if you came here for information change your mind make your goal not only need to be informed about spiritual things set your five a higher and more glorious goal of being transformed into the image of God he didn't come here just to get some information to get a brochure to get a pamphlet to be like a trivial outline of
