05 The Trouble with Al

I know a lot of people have a lot of questions about this particular topic in here.

So, by no means is this going to be an exhaustive look at this.

We would be here all afternoon if that was the case.

So, as I kind of like wade through a lot of these things that our ministry has kind of done some research on and we try to field some of these questions over the past year or so, I tried to frame this in the way that might be most beneficial to you guys, especially the youngers in this audience.

And so that's kind of what we're going to discuss today, is some things that you might need to be aware of, how to use the technology.

And I'll just let the cat out of the bag right now.

But I also am very skeptical of this technology.

And I think that if I were to ask an honest question, how many of you in here have used chatgpt or anything like that?

I don't think there's a person in here that probably hasn't used it.

So we should probably understand this and understand the power that this technology has and I think that as we are coming into this final masterpiece of deception that Satan has been preparing for 6, 000 years.

We should be very careful with this technology.

Let's bow our heads for a word of prayer.

Dear Gracious Heavenly Father Lord, we just thank you for this GYC, for all the meetings and all the messages that we have been blessed and graced with.

Lord, we honor you as our source of information.

We know that we need to be coming to you for everything.

And as we are coming into this final test here in earth's history, Lord, we just ask for protection.

We ask for guidance, And we ask for your wisdom to be given to us Lord be with this conversation today May you be with my words?

May we see a clearer picture of how much you love us and teach us how we should deal with this technology We love you and thank you in Jesus name.

Amen How many of you know that AI was talked about in the Bible?

OK, where was it talked about in the Bible?

You should be thinking about all these kinds of things.

Now, what was the trouble with AI in that scenario?

And Joshua, being someone that is very closely connected to God, that ought to make you really kind of take a pause and think about your own life.

And you know, it's like right now People are going to AI for spiritual understanding.

I really truly believe spiritual things are spiritually discerned.

I'm not okay personally with my own self, and you're going to have to make your own decisions on this, I'm not okay personally to sit there and exhaustively ask AI about spiritual things.

I'd rather learn how to dig in the Bible and get that information myself.

And so you're gonna have to come to grips with that.

And as we get into this conversation, you're going to see there is some really amazing things coming out of this technology.

I mean, I can't name another thing that we've ever created as humans that is both simultaneously 1 of the most amazing things, and simultaneously 1 of the most dangerous things we have on this planet.

That's just, it's hard to even wrap your mind around that.

And if you consider what was going on at the Tower of Babel, like, what were they really trying to do building this building?

That's really the purpose of what they were trying to build this building for, which really seems kind of like a ridiculous thing, because if you had your relatives just go through the flood and you know what God is capable of, Isn't it kind of crazy that real quick, within a few generations, man would be this ignorant or this arrogant against God?

You just watched God literally deal with man in a very severe way, and they're trying to outsmart God.

I mean, when it speaks about this experience in the Bible, I think 1 thing that's very interesting to me is how God, and specifically, I believe, Jesus, before he came down as Jesus, when he came down to see what man was doing, that's when it was mentioned that if man works together, there was nothing that we could not do.

That's an amazing statement, wouldn't you agree?

If we put our minds together on something, and that's why I think the devil is constantly dividing, dividing, dividing, dividing, dividing, and I think we're at a stage now where it's like, brothers and sisters, we are brothers and sisters together, let's link arms together, and let's move the way that God wants us to move together.

If you look at Nebuchadnezzar and as he was building this golden statue, I mean, what was he really saying?

God's telling him, no, these different kingdoms aren't going to exist until my kingdom comes and is the kingdom that will destroy all of these other kingdoms.

And Nebuchadnezzar, in his human arrogance, goes, no way, I'm going to be the head of gold and the body of gold, and my kingdom will last forever.

And I think that I'm trying to point this picture for you because it's interesting to me when you really start to dive in and you hear what are these technologists in Silicon Valley really after?

Forbes magazine, AI can now make you immortal, but should it?

I mean, they're literally trying to solve death.

Larry Page, all those guys that work for Google, those guys are transhumanists.

They're trying to transcend humanity using technology and the Holy Grail would be if they could download your mind and put it on a piece of technology then they just swap out the technology and guess what?

Now that's quite arrogant considering that God said the day you eat this fruit you will die.

And we know how the end of this story is gonna pan out, right?

That's why I don't think it's gonna end with a bunch of robots coming in here and taking us out.

So, I don't want to paint this picture that it's like this doomsday super fear, but I want to show you what this is really doing to the human heart and what it's doing to us even as we interact with this technology.

What's it doing to us going to God for all and everything?

Ecclesiastes 8 11 says, Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set to do in them evil.

And if at the day of the flood man's heart was evil continually, and we know the Bible says that in the end of time it will be as in the days of Noah, I can deduct from that, that if we remove God from this equation, we will be evil continually.

And so I'm more fearful of the mindset of trying to go around God.

Proverbs 13 20 says whoever walks with the wise becomes wise and the and whoever has a companion of the fools will suffer harm.

Like we're just around really really really intelligent people that's good.

What is what is what is wisdom in terms of what God considers wisdom?

Because I know that 1 of the most wisest people on the planet, well he didn't seem like he was very wise when he kind of got all those different wives going and then all of a sudden he's opened up doors, he was sending his children through the fire, He was doing things that were absolutely awful.

And you know what's interesting about Solomon?

Do you know that every single 1 of the kings had to pen the entire scripture that they had?

There wasn't 1 of those kings of Israel that was ignorant of what was inside of the Bible.

So him sending his kids through the fire, he read Deuteronomy 18 10 through 12.

It shall not be found among you anyone that makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire that uses divination that uses Witchcraft sorcery any of those things that you've probably heard our ministry talk about if it has magic and sorcery in it Don't touch it Why because there's lots of Bible texts that say listen God feels so strongly about this When have you ever heard God say, I will turn my back against you?

And I have felt the patience of God over my life over and over and over again.

And when I see the Bible talk that strongly about something, that tells me we should listen.

You know, the natural man does not receive the things of God or of the Spirit of God for that they are foolishness to him nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.

04 Hollywood’s War on God

This is a subject that I feel very passionate about and I've actually grown much more disliking video clips.

More and more that I do this the less and less I'm just like I can't stand this more than anything else.

But the reason I feel passionate to share this information with you is because look, brothers and sisters, it's time that we put this down.

Because I'm telling you There's a war going on inside of our minds right now that we need to be solidified in our minds, in our frontal lobe, so much so that we cannot be moved.

And now is the time before this stuff really gets out of control.

And I'm going to try to show you the least amount of video clips as I possibly can to illustrate this point.

And I mean this with all honesty of my heart.

I can't wait for a day that I come into churches and I come into places and they go, we don't need to talk about this subject anymore.

We got lots of other video projects and very many many things that we don't want to talk about but I'm willing to be the odd duck out and talk about this kind of stuff if no 1 else will and that's me going God if nobody else is saying this I will send me and so please pray for me that I can help deliver this with a clear cut.

And I want to pray that everybody that's even in this room, and I'm going to give you the opportunity right now, I'm going to show you some some video clips now.

I'm probably scaring you more than anything else.

This is not going to be too terribly like showing you, but I don't like playing these kind of clips to entice you to go out of here and watch these things.

And I want to say that as just like, it's time that we really put our eyeballs on Jesus and leave them there.

And let's just like, let's finish this work strong.

All right, let's bow our heads for a word of prayer.

Dear gracious heavenly Father, Lord, I know that you have so much you want us to learn and so much that you wanna fill our minds with.

And Lord, you know that the enemy of souls is trying to compete with the space inside of our heads.

And so it is my fervent prayer, Lord, that you take my words out of my mouth and you put your words here.

And that these words will be clear, and that these words will sink into our minds, that not only do we hear them when we're here, but actually when we go home, or when we talk with others, that we begin to make conscious choices here, Lord, that we just want to have good, wholesome things be put into our minds.

And so, Lord, protect these people that are in this room here.

Protect anybody that's listening to this message, Lord, and protect our minds, Lord, that we hear your voice and no 1 else's.

I always like to remind people, if you've never heard of our ministry before, the reason that we started this is because I lost my way in this subject.

I'm not only a person that is telling you what the experience is that they're doing to you, but they also did it to me and I lost my direction because I choked the truth out in my mind with the world's content.

And when I see the enemy attacking God's truths at such a rate there is something that tells me deep down inside that there must be something truthful with this thing because there would be no reason that the enemy would attack it at that level.

And so because they're spending so much time, and as you will see, not just time, decades of time, we're talking about they've been at this for 100 years and hammering every single generation in this room with this same content.

And you rarely will see a message like this where you're comparing so many varieties of things that are saying the same thing over and over and over again.

So it is my fervent prayer that you will open your eyes, that you will open your ears, and let the Holy Spirit prick on your heart, that you go, you know what, you're right.

We shouldn't be paying attention to some of these things.

This is what it was written by the pen of inspiration.

It says that we should study the nature, character, and extent of spiritual wickedness in high places, lest we become duped with the powers of darkness.

But how difficult it is to awaken the minds to realize the continual activity of the great earnestness of our wily foe, notwithstanding the warnings and cautions of the Bible, and the experience of many who have been overthrown by his subtlety." Because we know I could probably not need to tell you anything.

I'm not gonna tell you anything you don't already know.

This is a reorientation of just saying, just think about it like this, every single movie you see is a sermon.

What are you learning from a pastor when you come and you listen to what they're going to tell you?

They're reading your Bible to tell you how you should walk, how you should talk, how you should order your life, what you should dress like, all of those things are what we are learning in this book right here.

How you should walk, how you should talk, how your relationship should be, should you be married to engage in certain activities, or can you just do that with anybody?

Those are the things that they are literally telling you in the movies.

And so if you can stand on the Word of God and say, this thing speaks according to this, That's how I begin to look at everything.

You know, 1 of the most common things that people will actually Google if they don't believe in God is, if he is true, why is he allowing evil when he has the power to stop it.

That's the number 1 thing that people Google.

And so I think in order to understand this concept and to understand the media topic as a whole, we have to go back and we have to understand what is under attack.

What is the thing that the devil is doing because it will put into context why these things are so important.

In Ezekiel we know that this is speaking of Satan and it says, Oh covering cherub.

Where do we see that angel that is sitting there as the covering cherub?

We see it in the Ark of the Covenant, right?

And what is inside of the Ark of the Covenant?

To tell the world about what the character of God is like.

Because think about this, when God creates a civilization, Do you come out, Adam and Eve, and you know everything about God?

No, that's why the angels came and walked and talked with them and they were discovering things and looking at nature and they were going Oh, wow, God's really like this and God was meeting with them So the way that God disseminates information out into the universe is he goes and he tells that angel that's right next to him, Lucifer, in heaven, Lucifer goes and tells his angels, his angels go out in the universe and they start telling all the other creations about what God is like.

That's why it was so damaging when Lucifer came, who his very job was to tell people what God was like, and he's sitting there telling them God's not loving.

That's how he was able to get so many people against that.

Lucifer had been the covering cherub and he had stood in the light of God's presence.

He had been the highest of all created beings and foremost in revealing God's purposes to the universe.

He was, that's why we don't have a different job when we get to heaven, because for our eternity, you're gonna be asked the question, what was it like to live on earth?

Tell me, what was it like to be saved from sin?

And you're gonna repeat what literally our job is to do, is to tell what the character of our God that that put us in his hands and saved us.

You're not gonna do anything different than what he's been fighting against.

And it says that his power to deceive was that much more because he was so close to God.

Now, Isaiah says, Isaiah 14, 12 through 14, we know this verse probably off the top of our heads that Satan was saying, I want to be like the Most High.

Did Satan say I want to be just like the most high?

So Satan is really saying, I could be just like God, but I don't need to follow your rules.

This 1 will be on the topic of touching a little bit on all the different types of media and how they kind of are deceptive in some way, shape, or form, but how to avoid that.

The next 1 will be on Hollywood and their war on God.

The next 1 will be on how to use the technology in evangelism.

And then The next 1 will be on how to use the technology and evangelism.

And then the next 1 will be on AI, the last 1.

So this 1 is literally on just how to avoid A lot of these things that we have in our lives today that are kind of setting our minds up for deception How many of you feel like we're kind of a bit on a carnival ride right now?

Yeah, does it kind of feel like that right?

I mean the world is changing so quick and So fast it's like if you if you really kind of get sucked into 1 thing or the other it's like real quick It's like whoa wait a minute How did I just get down that rabbit hole and that's what I kind of want to address with this particular topic right here The reason I feel passionate to talk about some of these kind of things is because this was 1 of the things that that led me away from God and I paid attention to all the media I went to school for film production and I ended up in Los Angeles for 10 years and I Lost my way And so if there's something that you can learn from our ministry that help will maybe help you not go down that same path, that is my goal, is to really help you avoid getting off on the wrong track.

And that's what we're gonna talk about today.

So as people are coming in, let's bow our heads for a word of prayer.

Dear gracious heavenly Father, Lord, we know that you have told us so many things in your precious word, Lord, that you have desired to guide our paths if we will let you to the right or to the left.

And so it is my fervent prayer, Lord, that as we come into a day and age that that the enemy of souls is is preparing for his masterpiece of deception, Lord, how are we going to protect our minds so that we don't get swept up in that deception, and specifically pertaining to media.

Lord, may this message be clear and may it be heard, and also not just heard and clear, but also to apply it to our lives.

So to kind of illustrate a few points, maybe you guys have seen this before, which box A or B is darker?

Which way is this horse walking, towards you or away from you?

That's kind of like a little bit of a mind game, right?

Because you don't have all of the information, it can be flip-flopping back and forth.

Here's kind of another simple example which way the horse turns.

And if you kind of look at the dots, it's like, oh, is it turning to the left or is it turning to the right?

Now, The only reason I'm showing you these is because I want you to get the concept that basically we can all look at the same static image and see 2 different things.

And that it's just a slight mind shift that makes you go, oh, 0 yeah, now I see it's this or that, right?

Have you seen this 1 flying around the internet?

Is it going down the stairs or is it going up the stairs?

In fact, if I move the line straight across here like this, it's just absolutely straight.

Jesus in the middle of the space the E the SU.

I thought that was pretty cool Somebody needs to make a t-shirt, right?

That's a pretty cool image When Jesus was asked and he's sitting on the mountain, I think he was asked a very, very common question that I just absolutely would have loved to live in Jesus's day.

I would have asked him this question like, tell us what is, What are we gonna look at?

What kind of things are gonna let us know that the end is near?

How many of you think that the end is actually near?

But I think it's very interesting what Jesus answered here, and he said to them, and what is the sign of the coming of the age, when they asked this question, the first thing out of Jesus's mouth is, take heed that no 1 deceives you.

We know that we are coming into a day and age that deception will play a major part in this end time war.

I find it really fascinating that when God said that when you eat this fruit you will die in that day.

If a day is 1000 years to God and 1000 years is a day, nobody has lived over 1, 000 years.

He goes and and now there's a war in heaven and Satan comes to God and he says, you know what?

I had a wonderful afternoon in this beautiful weather and I go, that's why people live in California.

Forget about that, how amazing the weather can actually be down here.

But more so than that, it's been a joy and fellowshipping with you guys and talking with you.

And, you know, it's an exciting time to be alive, I think.

And as much as we get annoyed at the craziness that's happening in around the world around us, Just keep in mind the perspective that we are about to witness, if we have not witnessed already, some pretty amazing things happen in our world.

And hopefully that gives you joy that we're going home soon.

As I was really thinking about what do I present to you guys, I really have a passion and as I've traveled around quite a bit this last year and this coming into the end of the year, There's a lot of schools and people that have invited us over this last year to come and chat with them, specifically talking about the media topics.

A lot of people spend time in the holiday season watching movies, their home, entertainment seems to come back in in a mighty way.

And so I chose to kind of put together a collage of these ideas that our ministry has been working on over the years because I'm telling you we need to pray for our young people like there's no tomorrow.

I have thought that over the course of 10 years that I've traveled around enough to our schools enough times and put enough information out and with the way that the internet is, you would think that more and more people would be getting these concepts and maybe steering clear from it, and I almost am sad to report that it seems like it's getting worse and worse and worse.

So I wanted to share this message with you, not as some of you have already seen a lot of the things that our ministry has said, so some of this might be a slight review in some of these things, but I want to put it together because I really honestly believe be careful what you watch.

And you can be a voice of change for those around you, whether you have grandkids, whether you share information, whether this topic comes up with somebody and go, hey guys, you know in your sphere of influence, if I were to just ask the question, do you know people around you that watch common entertainment or common movies, all of you would probably say yes.

Even in my own sphere of influence around us, I'm constantly bombarded with this.

So if that is the case, hopefully this will give you a context of once again the reason why, why we don't watch these things.

And then also, this is the message that the world is getting.

So we need to double down on presenting the right message to those around us.

Because at an alarming level, the devil is attacking and he's using Hollywood to attack against God's character.

So that's what we're gonna talk about tonight.

Dear Gracious Heavenly Father, I know some of these things that are being presented.

Maybe there's people in this room that have never seen some of these things, and so I ask for protection upon our eyes, but also Lord, help this to be something that is a tool in our belt that we, as we're going around and witnessing to those around us or our family members that that we can help them not get distracted by this as well.

So we need to know a little bit about some of these topics so help us to understand those things.

So let me read something to you that Mrs.
