Welcome to the Seat Pod for beginners. I'm Ms. Ashley, and I'm so glad you are here with me today as we sing and learn about God through nature and the Bible. Heavenly Father, please bless all the boys and girls who've joined us today. Help us to learn so much more about you and come close to Jesus. We pray in Jesus name. Amen. Do you like to sing? Birds? We are gonna play a guessing game. I'll give you hits then you guess what it is. Are you ready? I am from Australia. I have small arms, a strong tail to balance with and big legs to jump with. I carry my Joey baby in a pouch. What am I? I'm a kangaroo. Next one. I eat eucalyptus sleeves all day long. I have a big black, oval shaped nose. I have a pouch. I look like a little gray bear. Do you know what I am? Why bear A koala bear? Last one. I come out at night. I live in the forest. I have a long skinny tail like a rat. I also have a pouch. I like to hang upside down from my tail. What am I? Hi, Possum. Possum. These animals are called marsupials. They all care their babies in a pouch. How much more does God love us and keep us close and safe? Our story today is about Isaac and his two baby boys. Let's pray together. Heaven, you Father, thank you for the Bible stories. Please help us to understand it and understand your love. In Jesus' name, amen. Abraham and Sarah had a baby boy named Isaac. They loved Isaac very much, and Jesus loved him too. Isaac grew up and learned to love Jesus when Isaac was a man, Jesus helped Abraham find a good wife for him. Her name was Rebecca, and she loved Jesus too. Isaac and Rebecca were very happy together. Isaac and Rebecca had two baby boys. In fact, they were twins. They were born the same day, but they didn't look like each other like many twins do. They named one ESA and the other Jacob. One day, Jacob told his daddy something that wasn't true. What do we call that when we say something not true? A lie. Is it ever right to tell something that isn't true? No. Isa was very angry about the lie. I am going to hurt Jacob. Isa said Jacob was sorry that Issa stayed angry. Rebecca thought Issa might hurt Jacob too. You should go visit your uncle. She told Jacob. Jacob was sad. He didn't wanna go far away, but he had to go. Jacob walked all day When night came. He was tired and lonely and scared. There was no soft bed to sleep on. He used a rock for a pillow. That must have been so hard. I'm sorry for lying. Jacob prayed. Please keep me safe. Jesus. Jesus sent Jacob a dream. In the dream. Jacob saw a long, beautiful ladder stretching all the way up to heaven. Angels were climbing up and down the ladder, and guess who He saw at the top? It was God, and he was looking down at Jacob. I am with you. God told Jacob, don't be afraid. How do you think that made Jacob feel? Jacob felt much better. Thank you Jesus. Jacob prayed. Thank you for being with me. I will obey you. Jesus loves you like he loved Jacob. He sent an angel to take care of you too. Do you want to always love and obey him? That makes God happy. It's memory verse time. Our memory verse Today is 28 15. I am with you and will keep you When we say I want you to point to yourself with you, you're gonna point away like you're pointing to somebody else and we'll keep you. You're gonna close your fist like you're holding Jesus' hand. I am with you and we'll keep you. Now. Let's try it together. I am with you. S here and Will Will Keep you. Keep you. Genesis 28, 15th.
