Lift up the trumpet and loud let it ring, Jesus is coming again.

Cheer up you pilgrims, be joyful and sing, Jesus is coming again.

Our Heavenly Father, we beseech Thee today, strengthen our faith.

Help us in this broadcast to bring joy and comfort and hope to everyone who hears.

There is a place of quiet rest near to the heart of God.

O Jesus, blessed Redeemer, sent from the heart of God, Hold us who bow before Thee, near to the heart of God.

I am tired and weary, but I must toil on, till the Lord comes to call me away.

Where the morning is bright, and the lamb is the light, and the night is as fair as the day.

There'll be peace in the valley for me someday.

There the bear will be gentle, the wolf will be tame, and the be laid down by the Lamb.

The host from the wild will be led by a child.

There'll be peace in the valley for me, for me.

The song Del Delker has chosen for this program sets forth the joy to be found in a personal fellowship with Jesus.

In sorrow I wandered, my spirit oppressed, but now I am happy, securely I rest.

From morning till evening, glad carols I sing.

And this is the reason I walk with the King.

For years in the fetters of sin I was bound.

The world could not help me, no comfort I found, But now like the birds and the sunbeams of spring, I'm free and rejoicing, I walk with the and I talk with the King.

Here now is HMS Richards, the Voice of Prophecy speaker.

Graham Scroggie of Edinburgh, Scotland, was once speaking to a large religious gathering on the text found in Psalm 40, verse 7.

In the volume of the book, it is written of me.

Among many other good things, he said that modern destructive criticism tells us that Genesis is a myth and that the book of Revelation is a mystery unsolvable by man.

Then he said, I wonder who it is that inspired such a theory.

In response, someone in the audience shouted out, the devil.

Scroggie, and I will tell you why the devil is so anxious to get rid of these 2 books, Genesis and Revelation.

It's this, because in Genesis the devil's sentence is declared and in Revelation it is executed.

No wonder the devil hates the Book of Genesis and the Book of Revelation and, of course, all the rest of the book in between.

I remember when I first heard someone speak on the devil's religion, I was surprised.

It's quite clear, though, from Holy Scripture that the devil does have a faith, and here is the text to prove it.

James 2.19 Thou believest that there is 1 God, thou doest well.

Now it's written in the Most Holy Scripture that the devil is a liar and a murderer, and has been so from the beginning.

But there's 1 thing of which you cannot accuse the devil.

In this respect some of his followers are worse than he is, apparently.

Many say that there is no God, and others live as though there were no God.

That is 1 thing in which the devil has never wavered.

He believes completely and absolutely in the existence of God.

The Bible says that he has faith, for the demons or devils believe that there is 1 God and they tremble.

So it's clear that the faith of a devil includes belief in the existence of God.

We are told here that the demons or fallen angels believe in the existence of God, and of course if they do, the devil himself also believes in God.

The Scriptures say that the devil was not always the devil.

He was created by God in the beginning as a perfect angel of light.

As 1 of the covering cherubs right by the throne of God, he was associated with all the holy hosts of heaven.

We read this in the twenty-eighth chapter of Ezekiel and the fourteenth of Isaiah.

He was perfect in all his ways until iniquity or sin was found in him.

As a result of his rebellion, he was cast out of heaven and led with him many of the heavenly hosts.

In the Bible, he is given between 30 and 40 names.

As the Prince and so-called God of this world, he perverts the Scripture, opposes God's work, hinders the Gospel, works lying wonders, even appearing as an angel of light, as we read in 2 Corinthians 11, 14.

In the twelfth chapter of the Book of Revelation, he is called the accuser of the brethren.

1 of the sure signs of the devil's work is the spirit of accusation, malicious fault-finding.

He could not rebel against God if God did not exist.

He could not be the adversary of God if there were no God.

Therefore, being a hater of God, he must believe in God.

So the first great dogma in the faith of a devil is belief in the existence of God.
