Follow the Leader

This morning we're going to be talking about following the leader.

And if we want to triumph with the truth, we have to follow the way and the truth and the life.

So we're going to be talking this morning about parenting in the context of following the leader and we need about 12 to 15 willing volunteers that would be ages 4 to 12 or 13 There okay young people Bethany.

How many of you have ever played Follow the Leader?

I'm going to be the 1 doing the talking, but...

So we're playing follow the leader, aren't we?

So, am I the leader or is she the leader?

Now you parents know what you can play for family time, right?

All right, so that was our first activity.

Alright, this time, here's what we need to do.

Alright, but I'm going to talk to you and tell you what to do.

I want everybody to Raise your right hand.

I'm the leader and I want you to raise your right hand.

Oh, we got a little bit of confusion going on here, but follow the leader.

That's what I call logical thinking here.

Here's what we want you to do on the last 1.

What your leader wants you to do is to use your index fingers how many you know what the index finger that's this finger you got 2 of them 2 of them use your index finger I've got a microphone so it's hard to do that.

But put your index finger in your ears and plug your ears.

Didn't make you do anything that was embarrassing?

But who's the leader for the whole world?

So we brought a special, go ahead honey, a special Bible.

And it has a verse from every book of the Bible.

But it's only 1 verse from the Bible, okay?

It's 1 verse from each chapter of the Bible, okay?

Not the whole Bible, not every verse of the whole Bible.

Sorry, Daddy wasn't up here, so he doesn't get 1.

Okay, you can share yours with daddy though but thank you for wanting to share we only had enough for the young people up here so do you want to stay with us or go down with mom and dad okay thank you for your help okay so children those of you who got the Bible, and all those of you who didn't get 1 of these little Bibles that are really to me a treasure.

I love little things, and these little Bibles are so much fun.

They have a scripture from every book of the Bible.

Certain books, like Psalms and other, have several verses.

But I have been so inspired by whoever captured the content of each book of the Bible and picked 1 or 2 verses to represent the message of the book.
